도시 자연복원을 위한 인공 습지 조성에 관한 연구

  • The objective of this study is to increase bio-diversity by developing more efficient methods to created habitats and applying them in introducing prototypes of forest, grassland, and marsh which are found in natural ecosystem, to urban environment. In this context, in creating man-made marsh in Seoul Engineering High School, firstly, philosophical framework to create man-made marsh to restore urban nature and conceptual system to create a region considering life and ecosystem were established. Secondly, by applying the philosophical framework and the conceptual system, water quality section, plantation section, and techniques to create habitats to increase bio-diversity were introduced. Lastly, when the creation is completed, maintenance of the marsh will continue with participation and education of students and residents. This study presents how natural environment can be restored and created in urban areas. This may be viewed as modest beginning. I expect this study proves to be effective in increasing bio-diversity, fulfill its role as an experiment station for restoration and creation of natural environment and natural educational center for students and community as well as habitats for wild life, and open a new chapter in developing a society seeking co-existence of humankind and life. Therefore, when technological guideline on restoration and creation of man-made marsh in urban area is developed based on the outcome of this study, expansion of the project to nationwide including metropolitan cities like Seoul is recommended.

The Present and Future of Children′s Hospice Care in Korea (한국 아동 호스피스의 현황과 전망)

  • Purpose: This study is to identify the present situation of children's hospice and to find the developing strategies for child hospice system in Korea. Method: The data was collected from both literatures and the recent data provided by the government. The direction of future of children's hospice cared in Korea was predicted based on the literature analysis and the report and policy of government. Result: In Korea, the system of the child hospice is not processing. There are the importance differences between children and adult in that the characteristics and approach of the hospice care. All medical personnel and the people related to hospice care including children and their family should be recognized the necessity of the children's hospice care. The following strategies is needed for setting up the child hospice :the principles and standards, recognizing of the necessities, developing of educational program for the specialist and the systemic children's hospice program, and the organization of child hospice. Conclusion: Directions suggested from this study have the importance of child hospice to establish and develop well in Korea for both children with life-threatening disease and their families.

Educational-Resources Recommending System for Web Based Learning

  • We are focusing on an approach which handle a general Web as a resource in order to support self-directed learning for a student. Then, we are developing a Web based learning environment "Web-Retracer"for utilizing Web as teaching materials by a user′s Annotation. Although the learner can share the Web resource that the others utilized in this environment, Web resources unsuitable for a student′s needs becomes hindrance about her/his self-directed learning. In this paper, we propose a recommending method of the resource united with a student′s needs on the basis of a student′s learning and Web browsing history. This method analyzed the feature peculiar to a resource, and extracts the resource with which the needs of the feature and a student agreed.

  • Graduate education in general means nurturing scholars who are capable of research that adds to the 'body of knowledge' and educators in the higher education system. Therefore 'discovering' new knowledge has always been a major role of graduate schools. However, interior design is a special field that 'application' can also produce new knowledge and therefore a wider understanding of scholarship is needed especially in the graduate level education. The purpose of this paper is to understand Interior Design graduate education system in the United States in order to develop issues that need to be discusses and addressed in Korea. Therefore, this paper first examines meanings of graduate degrees in general and current situation of Interior degrees offered in Korea. Then investigates the different types of graduate degrees in the U.S. such as post-professional degrees, first-professional degrees, and differences in general degree(M.A., M.S.) and professional degrees (M.F.A., M.I.D.). The researcher has used websites of each school and information lists of degrees offered by KIID and IDEC that serves as the main educators council in each countries. The characteristics of graduate degrees in America can be described as a structured system based on variety, flexibility, and distinction. For instance, M.F.A means a professional degree that is focused on building theory based project abilities, longer period to study but counted as a terminal in the field. However, in Korea even though the title of the degrees may differ there is not much difference shown in the educational contents. Therefore issues such as developing a more universal and international degree system, flexible and selective educational road-map, mutual understanding and unified system between various organizations for better graduate education system are proposed. Moreover, hope to start a discourse on defining scholarship and professionalism in the field of Interior Design.

Educational Needs Analysis for Development of Home Healthcare Nurse Specialist Education Program (가정전문간호사의 계속교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 교육요구 분석)

  • Purpose: The study analyzed continuing educational needs with the aim of developing continuing education program for home healthcare nurse specialists. Methods: A convenience sample of 101 home healthcare nurse specialists affiliated with 89 home health care agencies in Seoul, Busan, Dae-gu, Inchon, Jeonnam, Keongnam was used. Data was collected with a self-report questionnaire from May 10-31, 2010, and analyzed with descriptive statistics using SAS 9.13 program. Results: Of the participants, 88.1% reported that continuing education was necessary and 58.2% reported that the education was needed for peak job performance. The participants also reported that it would be proper if continuing education is given on a Saturday(56.4%) by home healthcare institute(49.5%) or homecare nurses association (38.6%) for 1-3 months(56.4%). The participants scored more than 3.0 in the current performance at six of the seven home healthcare nurse specialist roles, and scored more than 3.5 in the necessity of continuing education for seven roles in 47 jobs. Conclusion: Various programs for continuing education have to be developed and need to focused on the jobs needed for home healthcare nurse specialist and the most frequent disease. For this purpose, every home healthcare organization has to select their unique area and develop their own educational program. Furthemore, home healthcare nurses association has to build an education operating system that incorporates all program aspects.

  • With the growing number of people that use web services, the perception of the importance of securing web applications is also increasing. There are many different types of attacks that target web applications. In the rapidly-changing knowledge and information society, which came into being with the advancements made in information and communication technology, there is currently an urgent need for building web sites for the purposes of developing one's creativity and character. In this paper, attack schemes that use SQL injections and XSS and target educational digital curation systems which provide educational contents with the aim of developing of one's creativity and character are analyze, in terms of how the attacks are carried out and their vulnerabilities. Furthermore, it suggests ways of dealing appropriately with these web-based attacks that use SQL injections and XSS.

  • To respond to the announcement of the revised version of science curriculum early this year, it has been necessary to develop new science textbooks which can be appropriate and effective to achieve the goals of the revised curriculum. The system of new textbooks needs to embrace the concerns of cognitive development in scientific knowledge, skills, and attitudes as well as social and cultural demands in the rapidly changing society. To develop an innovative framework of science textbooks, we examined previous studies on textbook analysis in Korea and analyzed science textbooks in the United States, Singapore, and Japan. We analyzed various ways of introducing and developing conceptual knowledge, leading scientific inquiry skills and process, enhancing scientific attitudes toward science, technology, society and the environment in those science textbooks. In the process of framing the structures of textbooks, we focused on ways of increasing educational effects of visualized texts, leaners' interest, user-friendly procedure, scientific inquiry, effectiveness of hands-on activities, scientific reading and writing skills, and usage of workbook. Based on those aspects and analyses of textbooks, we attempted to propose a feasible framework of Grade $3{\sim}4$ Science textbook which can effectively respond to the educational changes and demands in the local and global society.

  • The article is devoted to studying the development of scientific and methodological work and its impact on the quality of students' vocational training in higher pedagogical education institutions by applying information technology. The article aim is to development of the organizational methodological support and pedagogical diagnostics of the effectiveness of the project «Modelling scientific and methodological work in a higher education pedagogical institution by applying information technology » realization in the framework of increasing the level of scientific and methodological work in a higher education pedagogical institution as a factor contributing to enhancing the quality of pedagogical education. The research program of the project activity envisages stating and substantiating the problem of scientific and methodological work by applying information technology in the framework of increasing the level and quality of educational activities in a higher pedagogical education institution through the implementation of the project approach, developing a model for the system of organizational and methodological support of the project implementation as well as monitoring the process and evaluating the results of the project implementation in terms of developing teachers' scientific, methodological, information competency and enhancing students' progress in studying. The set of criteria were developed to evaluate the level of formation of scientific and methodological competency as a result of implementing the project for the development of scientific and methodological work. The scientific and methodological work by applying information technology in the academy was carried out in accordance with the following principles: systematic character, consistent diagnostics, practical focus, scientific organizational and methodological support.

  • Contents application from contents development of web technical base and with the operation different environment information of the educational resources integration the importance and necessity of the management central chain e-Learning system will be able to operate are raising its head with base. Is the actual condition which develops the development process where but, the education application currently is not standardized in base. Also uses a studying contents standard metadata and about the contents storage space analyzes and plans the core property which uses MDA automatic tools leads and under developing boil e-Learning System will be able to provide the contents which does in actual professor own necessity.
