자가용 전기설비 권장 사용기간에 대한 고찰 (A Consideration of the Expected Service Life Cycles of Electrical Equipments in Buildings)

  • This paper considers and suggests the life cycle of the power equipments installed in buildings. The target equipments were divided into 5 groups by a couple of conditions, and a theoretical consideration and domestic foreign case studies were carried out. As a result, the most appropriate life cycles and monitoring periods were suggested for each group. The suggested results are expected to practically help the field electricians determine whether they have to replace the deteriorated equipments or not.

  • This paper presents the development of electromagnetic wave detecting equipment for diagnosis of enclosed switchboard. High voltage power equipments are very important equipment of the key industries and the private enterprise. Power line accidents are national plans because of those set off casualties lose of power equipments and communication networks. Therefore the necessity of the development of detecting for power equipment diagnosis is demand for prevention of high voltage equipment accidents. This paper is the development of electromagnetic wave detecting equipment for diagnosis of high voltage equipment. This paper establishes the diagnosis method for high voltage power equipments, that secures original technique and possesses detecting technique for electromagnetic wave. By the study we developed electromagnetic wave detector, and we applied this equipment application tests at the place constructed high voltage equipments.

부하 전류가 케이블의 수명에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A study on the Effects of Load Current for Lifetime of Cable Systems)

  • 발전소에서 설치 운영 중이 전력 케이블 시스템에서 사고가 발생함으로써 초래되는 경제적 손실은 매우 클 뿐만이 아니라, 원상 복구하는 데 많은 시간과 비용이 필요하다. 이를 대비하기 위하여 사고를 예측하고 방지하는 기술이 필요하다. 우리는 발전소에서 운전 중인 케이블의 절연 저항을 측정하기 위하여 부하 전류와 온도와의 상관 관계를 확인 하였고, 진단 데이터를 분석 평가함으로써 케이블 시스템의 열화 상태를 파악하여 사고가 발생하기 전에 케이블 교체를 할 수 시기를 예측하게 하였다. 이 논문에서 우리는 운전 중인 6.6 kV 케이블에서 부하 전류가 수명에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구한 결과를 소개한다. 케이블의 부하에 전류가 흐르면, 도체에 열이 발생하게 되고 케이블의 수명이 감소된다. 케이블의 부하 전류가 수명에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 수명 이론을 적용함으로써 절연저항 및 전류 측정 장치를 개발하여 운전 중인 케이블에 설치하였다.

방전 프라즈마 화학반응을 이용한 유해물질의 분해 (Decomposition of Hazardous Gaseous Substances by Discharge Plasma)

  • In this study, in attempt to develop a new application technique of discharge plasma, we employed a kind of discharging method called SPCP ( short for Surface discharge induced Plasma Chemical Process). Applications of SPCP have been widely used for years. Compact ozonizers to deodorize household equipments like refrigerators we a part of such applications. We took advantages of the compactness and durability of the SPCP electrode to set up an experimental apparatus for decompositing vapor of aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene, benzene and xylenes, which are major substances given off In painting or washing processes and aggravate working conditions. Results obtained from this study are summarized as follows. 1) Aromatic hydrocarbon vapors of up to 2,000ppm were almost thoroughly decomposed at the flow rate of 4ℓ/min or lower under the discharge with electric power of 400 Watts. 2) In dry air, as the decomposition progresses, tar-like substance deposits on the discharging areas, which deteriorated the decomposition rate in the end. This substance, however, was almost thoroughly removed by keeping discharge in dry air containing no solvent vapor.

  • 국내에서의 전력에 대한 수요는 점진적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 수요에 대응하기 위한 발전소는 기능이 다양해지고 효율이 점차 커져야 한다. 발전소 내의 전력 기기에서 사고가 발생하면 막대한 경제적 손실 및 장애를 초래하게 된다. 사고 발생의 원인 중의 하나로서 절연 성능이 저하 된 케이블이 있다. 케이블 사고를 미연에 방지하기 위하여 절연의 상태를 감시하고 확인하여야 한다. 케이블 사고는 연결 부위인 접속에서 발생하는 사고가 대부분을 차지한다. 본 연구와 관련하여 우리는 접속부 상태를 판별하기 위한 장비를 개발하였고, 한국서부발전(주)의 현장에 설치하여 운용 중이다. 본 논문에서는 현장에서 설치 운용 중인 장비에 대한 설명과 더불어 설치 운용된 결과를 통해 케이블의 수명을 예측할 수 있는 고전압 케이블 접속재의 안정적 사용을 위한 온라인 감시진단기법 중에서 사고가 가장 빈번하게 발생하는 접속부에 대해 안정적인 사용을 위한 진단의 정확성과 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위한 연구를 하였다. 이 논문에서 하드웨어 구성을 위주로 우리가 개발한 장비를 소개한다.

Active Control of a High-Speed Pantograph using LQ-Servo Controller

  • The high investment is necessary for the new high speed lines. So the KRRI was interested in the possibility of upgrading the existing line in order to speed up the train in the conventional lines. The tilting train system has been developed because the reconstruction of railway for the cant compensation costs very high. The purpose of the tilting system is to compensate the centrifugal acceleration in order to reduce the lateral acceleration of the passenger at high speed on the curves.The pantograph of the tilting train is indispensable in order to supply the electrification equipments with power in safe. The dynamic interaction between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system causes the variation of the contact force and the contact force variation can cause contact losses, arcing and sparking. If the spark happens between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system, the EMI(electro magnetic interface) and noises may occur. After all, the quality of current collection is deteriorated. This paper deals with the active control of pantograph and presents the LQ-servo controller to reduce the contact force variation.

The pantograph in train is indispensable in order to supply the electrification equipments with power in safe. The pantograph and the overhead wire form a dynamic coupled system and they affect each other through the contact force. Unfortunately, as the operational speed of a train increases, the vibration of the pantograph and the overhead wire also increases. This may lead to a zero contact force between the pantograph head and the overhead wire, which can results in the loss of contact, arching and abrasion. If the arching and spark happen between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system, the EMI(electro magnetic interface) and noises may occur. After all, the quality of current collection is deteriorated. This paper describes the dynamic response between the pantograph and catenary system by the numerical simulations and presents the LQ-servo controller to reduce the contact force variation
