Recently, the market of private study room continues to grow due to increased usage of private study room. However, old study room operators often have problems with cleanliness and theft, and cannot handle them in real time. Also, there is a problem of wasting power since users usually leave their desk for a long time with the lights on. Thus, in this paper, we intended to design a service which can prevent theft, clean up the user's desk, and adjust lighting system according to the user's condition based on Arduino system. Also, we tried to design a system which sends notifications from information of android-based IoT(Internet of Things), to the terminal when other people approach to the user's desk or try to steal user's item.

In this study, the IOT-based desk layout method was proposed to complement the existing seating method and to improve the work efficiency. The IoT system for the desk layout needs determining the function, type and network protocol of the sensor to find out the working status of the desk to reasonably assist the worker's seat placement. A collection method was proposed. The algorithm used in Block Stacking was used when deciding how to allocate seats using the acquired data. As a result, we could suggest an arithmetic basis for rational desk layout in IoT environment and show that it can be applied to an advanced flexible seating system based on working type in addition to the preferences of employees in the future.

In the age of knowledge and information when every aspect of economy, education and culture in society is changing rapidly, the teacher is not just a provider of knowledge in classroom. Ultra-modern educational tools and materials have come into being with the latest developments in science and technology and we see classroom teaching in general tending towards more 'open' classroom and study. What the students need most for the coming century is the cultivation of higher faculties such as creative thinking, the power to solve problems, and the spirit of inquiry. The present-day teacher is required to make use of various teaching medial in order to provide the students with better educational environment for developing these faculties, not the teaching method of the past with the teacher at the center. One way to enhance classroom environment is in reintroducing the modernized teacher's desk to the center of teaching apparatus. This paper is about the better way of designing the teacher's multimedia desk equipped with a PC that will make it possible for the teacher to utilize the internet-based educational resources.

Design concepts are pursuing the convenience of the aesthetic in furniture design recently. As a tool for human beings, all the products, make for convenient and secure more human. And, it has evolved to universal design direction us meet the needs of human beings. Design that can be a lot of people to share is required today. For these reasons, universal design affect the social art, and design. By applying the field of furniture design, universal design has to meet the needs of consumers. And must utilize to be triggered the development of furniture design market. It reduces the fatigue of the user, desk design gives a comfortable feeling. In addition, to increase the operating speed, with fewer mistakes, resulting in a number of benefits. I want to be a basic data to provide by setting the direction of furniture design through the universal design research. it would be possible if applied to furniture design characteristics of universal design, develop and recover the furniture market has stagnated.

This study intended to develop wellbeing flowerpots on desk which could create a healthy atmosphere in an office and raise people to joy. The pots developed by Blooming company emphasized a design as touching people's emotion through the organic design of the streamline which is different from the geometric line of the flowerpots manufactured by the company as focusing the design on the utility before. As a result, the pots derived from the organic design concepts could provide happiness or joy to the people, and would be a necessity on the narrow desk along with books or writing materials while working. Therefore, the beautifully streamlined pots are expected to compete with European market as the foreign buyers had a great interest in them at the Fair held in Hong-kong at the end of April, 2008.

Surface lighting using OLEDs for desk/task lighting has been analyzed its electrical and optical characteristic with a fluorescent lamp which has triple wavelength peak. We have confirmed the good possibility of OLEDs for desk/task lighting. Our engineering sample which has fabricated by co-worker has its characteristics which are luminous efficacy 11.781m/W at 509mW, CRI Index 75, CCT 4479K, CRI coordinate x=0.378, y=0.4547, respectively. Addinationly another OLEDs samples are used for compartive analysis in view of desk/task lighting.

In this paper, we investigate the relationship between the use of different media and customer satisfaction in help desk service. Different dimensions of customer satisfaction were derived based on SERVQUAL : reliability, empathy, assurance, tangibles, and responsiveness. The results support our hypotheses that use of conventional media (face-to-face and telephone) is related to help desk satisfaction through reliability and empathy and electronic media (e-mali and internet) users show higher satisfaction in tangibles and assurance. Also, hybrid media users (multi-media users by task) show a higher level of satisfaction in reliability and responsibility. The results suggest that automating help desks should be considered as a way to provide more options to end-users.

Display Unit(DU) of TCMS is very useful device display many data for operation and maintenance graphically. At This Time, rolling stock is reducing the wiring and size of desk for cutting down on their cost and making light weight. Dual Du(Display Unit) of TCMS could make the desk of cab simply by integrating cab's switches and gauges. Dual DU is not only can reduce the wiring and simplify desk of cab but also can making system of TCMS reliable by including backup function each other. For this reason. In this paper, advantages, application and example analysis of Dual DU of TCMS for rolling stock are described through the ongoing projects.

Recently. interests in IT Service Management (ITSM) are increasing internationally as well as domestically. In order to realize the benefits from ITSM, it is necessary to institutionalize it as a culture of the organization through effective change management. One of the most promising approach of effective change management is a Six Sigma technique. In this study, we analyze a success case in which 6 Sigma was applied to Service Desk function which is one of the most important functions of ITSM. Through the analyses, this study aims to propose a feasible and specific approach to institutionalize ITSM. To accomplish the objective. the study analyzed specific methods of application of 6 Sigma to ITSM. performance of the project and future directions based on interview and project document/deliverable review. This study could not provide detailed performance measures due to lack of previous research on this topic and difficulty of obtaining quantitative data. However. this study has contributed to proposing a direction to institutionalize ITSM in organizations by analyzing a feasibility of 6 Sigma in implementing ITSM.

Today's manufacturing enterprise relies heavily on the collaboration and coordination among the distributed manufacturing systems. The effective exchange of the various manufacturing information among the distributed organizations contributes a great deal to their productivity. An Internet-Based Manufacturing Desk is developed for the production of the press dies in the automobile industry in order to solve the manufacturing problems among the distributed organizations, to maintain their smooth and immediate information flow, and to increase their productivity finally. The CBR(Case-Based Reasoning) method is applied to achieve those effects. Using the method, the solutions and methods of the predetermined case-bases are retrieved and applied to solve a newly introduced problem. The developed system is implemented and applied successfully.
