한국표준형 원전 제어봉구동장치 전원공급계통의 전동발전기 세트 안정성 개선 (Improving Stability of Motor Generator Set of the Power Supply System for CEDM in Korean Standard Nuclear Power Plants)

  • This paper analyzed a root cause of abnormality in the temperature and vibration at generator-side bearing of motor generator set (MG Set), which is a power supply system to control element drive mechanism (CEDM) of nuclear power plants (NPPs), and modified the design of roller-type and sealing method to improve the abnormalities. From the inspection of MG Set and analysis of temperature variation during service, it was found that the abnormal temperature transition was basically associated with original design of generator-side bearing, whose roller was axially restrained by inner race, and that the abnormal vibration level was caused by inserting small chips of cage and V-ring, which were generated due to the abnormal temperature transition at roller bearing. Type of bearing and sealing method were modified based on these analyses. The temperature and vibration level measured at roller bearing showed that the modifications clearly improved the operational stability of MG Set.

수력학적 공동현상을 이용한 온수 발생 장치에서의 회전체 형상에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Simulation Study on the Shape of the Rotor in Hydraulic Cavitation Heat Generator)

  • This paper presents a numerical investigation on the local hydraulic cavitation phenomena of water resulting from the rotor with high rotational speed in the hydraulic cavitation heat generator. The numerical simulation utilizes the standard k-epsilon turbulence model, the mixture multiphase model and the Schnerr-Sauer cavitation model to simulate the complex cavitation phenomena in the generator. For exploring the efficient shape of the dimples on the rotor to causing cavitation phenomena artificially, the pressure distributions and the volume fractions of the vapor on the rotor are investigated respectively about different shapes of the rotor in the generator. The optimum shape of the dimple to causing cavitation phenomena in the selected shapes is obtained by the means of the numerical simulation.

  • This paper presents design parameter calculation methodology and its realization to construction for the 10/350${\mu}s$ lightning impulse current generator(ICG) modelled as double exponential function waveform with characteristic parameters ${\alpha},{\beta}$. Matlab internal function, "fzero" was applied to find ${\lambda}={\alpha}/{\beta}$ which is solution of nonlinear equation linearly related with two wave parameter $T_1$ and $T_2$. The calculation results for 10/350${\mu}s$ lightning impulse current show very good accuracy with error less 0.03%. Two type of 10/350${\mu}s$ ICGs based on the calculated design circuit parameters were fabricated by considering the load variation. One is applicable to the MOV based Surge protective device(SPD) for less 15 kA and the other is to test small resistive devices such as spark gap arrester and bonding device with maximum current capability 30 kA. The tested waveforms show error within 10% in comparison with the designed estimation and the waveform tolerance recommended in the IEC 61643-1 and IEC 60060-1.

다중 주파수 발생기 설계를 위한 단일 인젝션 락킹 현상에 관한 연구 (The Study on Single Injection Locking Phenomenon for Multi-Frequency Generator Design)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 주파수 발생기의 설계를 위한 단일 인젝션 락킹 현상에 대한 연구를 진행한다. 다중 주파수 발생기 설계를 위하여 인젝션 락킹 현상에 대한 기본적인 이론을 서술하고 이를 토대로 단일 인젝션 락킹 실험에 대하여 서술한다. 실험은 인젝션 신호에 비해 불안정하게 진동하는 발진기에 일정하게 진동하는 안정된 신호인 인젝션 신호를 인가하는 방식으로 진행하였다. 인젝션 신호는 홀렌드 전류원을 사용하고 콜피츠 발진기를 사용하여 회로를 구성하였다. 실험결과 각각의 인젝션 신호(840kHz, 500kHz)를 주입하였을 때 각각의 발진기가 안정하게 진동하는 것을 확인하였다. 위의 단일 인젝션 락킹 실험결과를 통하여 다중 주파수 발생기 설계에 인젝션 락킹 현상을 응용 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Shape Optimization of a Plate-Fin Type Heat Sink with Triangular-Shaped Vortex Generator

  • In this study the optimization of plate-fin type heat sink with vortex generator for the thermal stability is performed numerically. The optimum solutions in the heat sink are obtained when the temperature rise and the pressure drop are minimized simultaneously. Thermal performance of heat sink is influenced by the heat sink shape such as the base-part fin width, lower-part fin width, and basement thickness. To acquire the optimal design variables automatically, CFD and mathematical optimization are integrated. The flow and thermal fields are predicted using the finite volume method. The optimization is carried out by means of the sequential quadratic programming (SQP) method which is widely used for the constrained nonlinear optimization problem. The results show that the optimal design variables are as follows; B$_1$=2.584 mm, B$_2$=1.741 mm, and t=7.914 mm when the temperature rise is less than 40 K. Comparing with the initial design, the temperature rise is reduced by 4.2 K, while the pressure drop is increased by 9.43 Pa. The relationship between the pressure drop and the temperature rise is also presented to select the heat sink shape for the designers.

  • This paper describes the methodology of an IEC 1131-3-based control logic generator for the control system design and converting algorithm between programmable languages. The proposed control logic generator is generated based on the software model and common element with data type, variables, POUs(program organization unit) and execution control unit commonly used within programmable languages of IEC 1131-3 Standard. The generation method of object file was proposed on five programmable language based on IECI 131-3. The generation method of object file is represented as following; 1) the generation method using conversion algorithm from LD to IL with FBD(function block diagram), 2) the generation method using C code generation algorithm from SFC using the SFC execution sequence with FBD and ST(structured text). The proposed control logic generator was implemented by Visual C++ and MFC on MS-windows NT 4.0

  • 본 논문은 Xilinx의 System Generator를 이용하여 저전력용 FSK 수신기를 구현하기 위한 논문이다. 심볼을 검출하기 위해서 16점 FFT를 사용하며, 저전력 효율을 증대하고 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 디지털로 설계한다. 수신기는 1 비트 데이터 처리를 하며 데이터 속도는 10kbps이다. 또한 FFT를 계산할 때 복소 승산을 피하기 위해 CORDIC 알고리듬을 사용하였으며 회전인자에 의한 승산을 회전기로 대체하였다. 수신기의 설계와 시뮬레이션은 먼저 Simulink로 수행하고, FPGA를 구현하기 위해 Xilinx의 System Generator를 사용하여 하드웨어 모델로 변환되며 성능이 확인된다.

와동 플랩 삼각날개를 이용한 관내 와류 발생장치 설계 및 수치해석 (Design and Numerical Analysis of Swirl Generator in Internal Duct using Delta Wing with Vortex Flap)

  • 본 연구에서는 압력 왜곡과 유동각 왜곡을 모사하기 위하여 삼각날개를 이용한 와류 발생장치를 설계하였다. 삼각날개는 목표한 와류코어 위치와 압력왜곡율(DC90), 와류각을 만족하기 위해 후퇴각 $65^{\circ}$를 사용하였으며, 와류의 분포 영역을 넓히기 위해 삼각날개 전단면에 $45^{\circ}$ 와동 플랩을 적용하였다. 제작된 와류 발생장치는 시뮬레이션 덕트를 적용한 유동 왜곡 시험에서 전압력 왜곡율의 설계 요구조건을 만족하였으며, 시험 결과로부터 검증된 전산유체해석 결과를 이용하여 와류코어 위치와 와류각의 목표 성능을 확인하였다.

  • The characteristics of hybrid type absorption chiller are studied numerically to use a waste hot water effectively. In the case of the full load, the concentration and temperature of LiBr solution are increase about $11^{\circ}C$, 1.3% respectively at the single effect generator by hot water. As a result, the heat of the high temperature generator are decrease, so the energy can be saved. As the partial load decreased the consumption ratio of fuels are decreased and the reduction ratio of fuels are increased. The variation of COP with the inlet temperature of hot water is higher than that of the flow rate of hot water. The effect of mean temperature difference with solution and hot water of the generator are higher that of flow rate of hot water, it can effect on COP which is sensitive to heat of generator.
