  • In this paper, we will present brief design feature, implementations, and tests for verification of KOMPSAT-2 simulator, which is a subsystem of KOMPSAT-2 MCE. SIM is implemented on PC server to minimize costs and troubles on embedding onboard flight software into SIM, OOA/OOD methodology is employed to maximized S/W reusability, and XML is used for S/C characteristics, TC, TM and Simulation data instead of commercial DB. Consequently, we can reduce costs for the system, efforts embedding flight software, and maximize software reusability. SIM subsystem test was performed successfully.

  • A phase III clinical trial of a new drug for neutropenia induced by chemotherapy is presented and consider adding random effects in crossover design which was used in the clinical study. The diagnostics for its heteroscedasticity based on score statistic is derived for detecting homoscedasticity of errors in crossover design. A small simulation study is peformed to investigate the finite sample behaviour of the test statistic which is known to have an asymptotic chi-square distribution under the null hypothesis.

  • In the electric railway systems, it is very important that we should design the system configuration, location and power capacity of substation. This paper presents the results of system configuration and system design of the DC traction power supply for the test line of Light Rail Vehicle. The voltage fluctuation of train and the power capacity of substation are calculated by computer simulation using the nodal equation, K.C.L/K.V.L, Ohm's law and superposition theory.

  • In this paper, we design the pattern generator circuits using PLDs(Programmable Logic Devices). The pattern generator is the circuit which generates the test pattern signal for the inspection of logical defects of semiconductor products. The proposed circuits are designed by the PLD design tool(MAX+ II of ALTERA). Also the designed circuits are simulated for the verification of the designed ones. The simulation results have a good performance.

  • A turbo blower directly driven by a variable-speed BLDC motor was designed and tested to investigate performance characteristics. Computational analysis and performance tests validated the design method for the present turbo blower. Experimental measurements showed that the blower has an enough stability margin. This paper gives an outline of design, computational flow analysis and performance test for aerodynamic performance of the blower

  • In this paper, we describe the structure, function and the design factor of common module for KOMPSAT-2 OBC, which will be launched in 2005. By analysing OBC's performance, we can know the throughput and how much improve performance than KOMPSAT-l. it is used in the satellite mission design by system engineer. We verify the usefulness of common module for KOMPSAT-2 OBC through environment test.

  • This study is to measure and evaluate the sensibility image for textile pattern design based on the generation. Ten patterns classified by a practical survey on the market are presented. A questionnaire has 14 sensibility related words scaled by 7 point semantic differential method. The practical research is performed for 200 women screened by sensibility test for individual character analysis based on the generation. Each subject is answered by a face-to-face interview method to improve survey's accuracy, For statistical test about differences in treatment means, SAS package is used and analyzed through ANOVA, significance probability and mean, In summary, this paper has proposed the sensibility image scale for apparel pattern design to satisfy individual sensibility, The results of this study can be effectively applied to develop textile pattern design based on human sensibility.

Establishment of the design stress intensity value for the plate-type fuel assembly using a tensile test

  • In this paper, the design stress intensity values for the plate-type fuel assembly for research reactor are presented. Through a tensile test, the material properties of the cladding (aluminum alloy 6061) and structural material (aluminum alloy 6061-T6), in this case the yield and ultimate tensile strengths, Young's modulus and the elongation, are measured with the temperatures. The empirical equations of the material properties with respect to the temperature are presented. The cladding undergoes several heat treatments and hardening processes during the fabrication process. Cladding strengths are reduced compared to those of the raw material during annealing. Up to a temperature of 150 ℃, the strengths of the cladding do not significantly decrease due to the dislocations generated from the cold work. However, over 150 ℃, the mechanical strengths begin to decrease, mainly due to recrystallization, dislocation recovery and precipitate growth. Taking into account the uncertainty of the 95% probability and 95% confidence level, the design stress intensities of the cladding and structural materials are established. The presented design stress intensity values become the basis of the stress design criteria for a safety analysis of plate-type fuels.

  • 액체 추진 엔진 개발을 위해서는 서브시스템인 연소기 개발이 선행되어야 하고 설계 및 제작된 연소기의 성능 검증은 연소기 연소시험설비(CCTF)에서 수행된다. 연소기 연소시험설비는 로켓 엔진의 연소기를 개발하기 위한 시험 설비로 산화제로는 액체산소(Liquid Oxygen)를 사용하고 연료로는 케로신(Kerosene)을 사용한다. 이러한 추진제는 질소가스를 사용하여 고압으로 추진제 런탱크를 가압하여 연소실로 공급하게 된다. 우주센터에 구축 예정인 연소기 연소시험설비에 대한 상세설계가 수행되었으며, 본 논문에서는 고압가스 공급시스템에 대한 설계 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • 아직까지 소프트웨어 개발조직에서는 사전검증 활동 및 충분한 테스트 설계가 수행되지 않고 있으며, 따라서 개발 초기에 식별, 수정될 수 있는 결함들까지 테스트시 검출되기 때문에 투입 노력 대비 테스트의 효율성은 떨어진다. 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 본 논문은 구현이전단계에서의 사전검증이 수행 되지 않고, 테스트 케이스 설계가 충분히 진행되지 않은 경우에 테스트의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 실사례를 통해 제안하고 있다. 테스트 단계에서의 코드 리뷰와 코드 품질 분석을 통해 테스트 우선순위 선정, 테스트별 테스트 케이스 설계 등의 주요 활동과 테스트팀과 개발팀과의 역할을 구체적으로 제시한다.
