  • Too many big accidents have been occurring in Korea during '90. Those were accidents of Sung-Soo Bridge in 1994 and Sam-Poong Department Store in 1995. It was confirmed that the causes of the accident were unreliable construction or building. Therefore, in this study are to use technique of virtual reality(VR) simulation in order to prevent construction accidents. To set up the VR in safety construction, Date Base of variables, VR model and expert system are needed. This system is to build expert system, to visualize of the VR system and navigation, and to find out design errors of construction. Therefore, the purpose of this was to analyze accident type of construction, and apply VR system for simulation technique.

FMS Designer 의 지능화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Intelligent FMS Designer)

  • In order to design an FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System), an effective design tool is necessary for selecting and anlayzing the complex interacting factors of a manufacturing system. Considering most of the previous researches have been focused on evaluating the designed FMS, development of an integrated FMS designing system is needed for performing the design task such as machine selection and layout determination as well as the evaluation task of the designed FMS. In this paper, we developed a prototype of such a system called the intelligent FMS designer based on the techniques of Expert System and Simulation. By using this designing system, possible design alternatives can be analyzed and appropriate manufacturing capacity can be estimated at the designing stage. Various operating characteristics of the designed FMS can be also predicted before it is implemented. Eventually a suitable design alternative can be provided with cost details within relatively short time period. To demonstrate the performance and effectiveness of the designer, a simple example is tested. The results show a great potential for automating design processes of an FMS.

  • Since the traditional designing approach of forming processes is based on trial and error it consumes much time and needs cost to design successful processes. Today for higher marketability of products a manufacturing system is required that can reduce production time and enhance product properties greatly. In order to implement the system a computerized design-supporting tool is indispensable for the design and supply of optimized production process for high product quality in short time In this study a design supporting system is developed and implemented to ballstud die. Using the developed system the designer can rapidly produce layouts of dies for each process sequences with consistency.

초고층 건축물의 최적화된 설비시스템 설계를 위한 기초연구 (The Study on Optimization of HVAC Systems Design in Tall Buildings)

  • The optimized HVAC system design in tall buildings enable owners to save unnecessary energy consumption and residents to have comfort environments. The purpose of this study is to develop design process for optimized HVAC system design in tall buildings. As basic researches, literature researches and case studies of HVAC system design in tall buildings were performed. Survey was processed among expert in the field and key considerations on HVAC system design were drew as conclusions. With these conclusions, studies were performed on effects of wind velocity, outdoor air temperature, and solar radiation that are main factors of load calculation in tall buildings. Finally, air-tightness and stack effect were analyzed and estimated by literature studies, field measurements and computer simulations.

도시이미지 향상을 위한 도시디자인의 평가체계 설정에 관한 연구 (Establishment of the Evaluation System of Urban-Design for the Improvement of an Urban-Image)

  • Regarding urban design in this 21st century, cities pursue human-oriented urban design through which nature, cities, and human beings are unified and interact with one another. For such urban design maintenance, it is needed to conduct systematic analysis and synthesis on various and complex factors of cities expressing urban images. Also, it is necessary to secure methods to evaluate those cities based on urban users' visual information. Thereupon, this study aims to suggest urban design evaluation methods which accept human behavior or needs and also allow us to figure out desirable images. For this, the study established the construction system of the most basic urban design components that form cities through literature review and expert evaluation. And it examines correlation among those factors with statistic means. Through this, the study suggests a new urban design evaluation system and evaluation process divided into experts and users so as to reflect user behavior or needs.

밀링가공시 버형성 예측을 위한 전문가 시스템 개발 (Development of Expert System for Burr Formation in Face Milling)

  • Burr makes troubles on manufacturing process due to deburring cost, quality of products and productivity. This paper described the results of experimental study on the influence of the cutting parameters on the formation of exit burrs in face milling. Using the results of experimental study, burr types are classified and data bases are developed to predict burr formation result. From the CAD file for work geometry and the NC data for tool path, the exit angles are calculated at every edges. This program predicts the burr geometry at exit edges using the prediction algorithm and data bases which are developed experimentally. Simulation results on deformation strain and temperature are also available in specific 2-dimensional cutting conditions. Also algorithm which can determine the exit angle is proposed.

웹 기반 전문가시스템의 자동생성체계 (Automatic Generation of Web-based Expert Systems)

  • 본 논문은 웹 기반 전문가시스템의 구현 구조들을 분석, 장단점을 비교하고, 웹 서버의 부하를 절감할 수 있는 HTML을 이용한 역방향 추론기관의 구현 방안을 제시한다. 웹 환경 하에서 전문가 시스템을 구현하는 방안틀로는 CGI를 이용하는 방법, 웹 서버에 추론기관을 내장하는 방법, 외부 뷰어를 이용하는 방법, Java Applet을 이용하는 방법, 그리고 HTML을 이용하는 방법 등이있다. 이들은 시스템 개발, 시험, 확장, 이식, 유지보수의 용이성, 대규모 서비스 가능성 등에서 각기 장단점을 갖고 있다. 특히, HTML을 이용하여 역방향 추론을 구현하면 위의 장점들을 상대적으로 많이 누릴 수 있다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 역방향 추론에서 진위형,OAV형 및 수치형 변수를 HTML과 JavaScript를 이용하여 표현하는 방안을 설명한 후 이를 바탕으로 HTML 방식의 전문가시스댐 설계 방법론을 제시한다. 또한, 기존 전문가시스템을 웹 기반으로 변환하기 위하여 기존 방식의 규칙베이스를 지식분석도로 바꾼 후 HTML 기반 전문가시스템을 생성하는 방법론도 설명한다.

  • This paper deals with the development of an intelligent CAD system for specifying the operation sequence in cold forging. Cold forging technology is facing with various new design requirements. Therefore, it is very important to develop a decision method for the operation sequence, with comparatively high adaptability to the new requirements. An intelligent CAD system which is the uncertain factors in human knowledge into consideration by applying fuzzy theory is established. Various actual design data about were organized, and these organized data were applied to the system as the case base. The system automatically generates the design data of operation sequence such as the forming method and the geometric data of products in each operation stage by the reasoning method applied the fuzzy pattern matching. By comparing the design results in the above system with the actual design data of a human expert, this paper presents that our method is useful for practical application.
