  • This study intends to implement an OPAC prototype based on FRBR(Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records) model, which are reflected the users' information needs and search behavior. To the end, this study applies prototyping techniques that design, evaluate and improve an early sample model. Included in this study are as follows: (1) design a conceptual model of new OPACs based on the users' information needs about FRBR-based search services, (2) implement a FRBR-based prototype with WordPress 4.2 version, (3) evaluate the FRBR-based prototype from the viewpoint of users and experts(catalogers and professors). 50 college students and 6 experts participate in the final evaluation process.

  • Many students with disabilities and special needs are enrolled in higher education, which substantiated the need for research regarding faculty members' knowledge and willingness to implement supportive strategies in higher education in Saudi Arabia. This study explored Saudi university faculty members' knowledge and willingness to apply UDL (Universal Design for Learning) principles in their teaching practice. Surveys were used for data collection for this descriptive research. The findings indicated faculty members felt that they were knowledgeable regarding UDL and were willing to use UDL principles in teaching their students. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences between faculty members' knowledge levels regarding UDL based on their current position and years of experience. The findings indicated there was a significant relationship between gender and knowledge, with males having a significantly higher mean knowledge, although further analyses revealed it was a small effect. Finally, the results suggest more years of experience are related to greater willingness to use UDL principles, and this is particularly true for those in a lecturing position. These findings could be helpful, particularly for the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia to shed light on faculty members' UDL knowledge. Further research is needed to substantiate the findings.

  • Authors ahve developed ALFLEX simulation program which can implement the flight simulation ad control system design of ALFLEX efficiently by using aerodynamic data provided by NAL/NASDA. Then we have designed and example of flight path and altitude control system of ALFLEX. The philosophy of the design method is explained in detail, and a flight simulation result is shown, which verifies the fine performance of the system.

  • The concept of "place" has recently been given much attention by those who discuss problems of urban design and architecture. And we used the term "existential space" denote our concept or image of the environment. To create new space means to implement existential patterns in a given environment. So, this thesis explores the spatial meaning of correlation in Heideggers Existential Space and Situation of Fengshui.tuation of Fengshui.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of a low-profile power supply developed for AC-PDP application systems. In the proposed power supply, planar magnetics and SMD devices are integrated into advanced power conversion techniques to implement a low-profile power supply applicable to most AC-PDP application systems. Engineering details on the design and fabrication of planar magnetic components are presented. The performance of the prototype power supply is also demonstrated to validate the application potentials of the proposed power supply.

  • There are many testable design techniques, among which Scan path and BIST techniques are mainly used. In this paper, the increase of design effectiveness is discussed, when these techniques are applied to the practical implementation of chips. The following techniques are presented : 1) Blocks are commonly used to reduce test time without hardware increase, 2) MUX is used to implement the shortest Scan path, 3) Scan register is used which controls and/or observes several blocks to avoid the increase of hardware.

  • The Hair part of Cosmetology is development with Ubiquitous age. In this paper, 1 would design and implement for Ubiquitous Hair Changing on Ubiquitous network. Hair artist have customer's features in use digital camera for operating hair beauty. They are agree with hair design and style in monitor on internet at customer's choose in digital contents of cut, permanent, up-style, dye, long hair from web server. After operation on customer's hair from image of mobile terminal, hair artists take a photograph of customer's face and update it on internet. Customer's features was saved in her's mobile terminal. I would contribute to development of Beauty Information Society that the design of Ubiquitous Hair Changing System and the implement of digital hair contents that on-line internet system Sl mobile terminal were applied by Ubiquitous Network.

  • A stores management software which is embedded in the stores management system requires high-level reliability and real-time processing. It also required to implement and verify protocols which requires timing constraints to control various weapons. In this paper, we propose design methodology to design a stores management software and its support middleware based on the TMO (Time-triggered Message-triggered Object) model.

  • The DAISY, an international digital talking book standard, has been established to help reading-disabled people read books normally. As many societies' interests in reading-disabled people are arising, reading environment for them is also getting improved by supplying alternative books. In the digital world, however, there is still lack of e-book playing software for them. In this paper, we design and partially implement an android smartphone e-book viewer. By analyzing the features and relations of DAISY3 files, we can find several important design points to properly implement DAISY3 viewer. We are sure, when using our results, that various DAISY3-compliant e-book viewers can be implemented easily and quickly.

A Study of Disk-Shaped Bronze Implements (부록 1. 원개형동기의 앞뒷면 - 그 사용법에 관하여 -)

  • Several explanations exist about the usage of disk-shaped bronze implements in the ancient society. Some argue that they were used as mirrors, others suggest percussion instruments, and still others bronze ornaments. Differences between disk-shaped bronze implements and mirrors with multiple knobs are that the former have no visible design, only one handle, and a sharp curvature unlike the latter with smooth curvature. The question is whether disk-shaped bronze implements excavated from Korean peninsula have any light reflecting function. To answer this question, I carefully studied the concave surfaces of disk-shaped bronze implements excavated from Goejeong-dong, Tongso-ri and Hapsong-ri sites. The main findings are as follows: (1) The concave sides of the disk-shaped bronze implements excavated from Goejeong-dong and Tongso-ri sites were highly polished, and they were as reflective as bronze mirrors. (2) The concave side of the disk-shaped bronze implement from Hapsong-ri site was unpolished, and it was different from bronze mirrors. (3) As for the convex sides of the disk-shaped bronze implements, they did not appear to have been polished with care. Considering the above findings, the disk-shaped bronze implements excavated from Goejeong-dong and Tongso-ri sites belong to the stage where they could act as both mirrors and instruments. On the contrary, the disk-shaped bronze implement from Hapsong-ri site can belong to the stage where it lost the function of being a mirror as the result of maintaining only its function as an instrument. Even though disk-shaped implements had two functions, it can be considered that the light reflecting function expanded the role of a mirror with multiple knobs and the sound function helped the engraved round bronze implement to be converted into an eight-armed bronze rattle. Since it has been reported that shamans used bronze mirrors as percussion instruments in their performances in Korean peninsula and Siberia, I propose a reconsideration of the usage of mirrors in the ancient East Asia. Although the essential function of a mirror is to reflect light, other possible usages involving important functions need to be further investigated.
