  • Purpose: Evidence-based design is the process of making design decisions based on reliable research to achieve the best results, so it is important to accumulate reliable evidence through research. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present new evidence by applying the evidence-based design process to improve the digital signage for each room spaces in hospitals and verifying its effectiveness. Method: Through the 8-step process of evidence-based design, improved digital signage for each room spaces are installed. It conducted surveys and statistical analysis to prove hypotheses by linking design and research. Results: The hypotheses established in the study are: 1) improvement in the readability of digital signage is correlated with patient satisfaction; 2) Improving the intuitiveness of digital signage correlates with patient satisfaction; 3) Improving the sufficiency of digital signage correlates with patient satisfaction. As a result of satisfaction analysis and correlation analysis, all of the above hypotheses were proven. Implications: Although the hospital sign system is the element that patients rely on most intuitively in the long journey of reception, waiting, examination, and treatment, there is insufficient evidence to refer to or apply it when designing. It is necessary to expand future research to expand the evidence that can be applied to hospital sign design.

  • This study analyzed the present uniform satisfaction, uniform satisfaction followed by physical satisfaction, attitude for uniform, purchase attitude for uniform, satisfaction for design, preference for design, and attitude for uniform alteration behavior by distributing questionnaires to high school girl students in Daejeon City. The results of the study are as follows. The study distributed questionnaires to 319 high school girl students in Daejeon City and analyzed the satisfaction factors for their uniforms. • In this paper an attempt is tried to answer the following questions : What does ergonomics have to do with work satisfaction\ulcorner Is there more satisfaction when ergonomics have applied in the design of work\ulcorner Is ergonomics important for work satisfaction\ulcorner This paper is started by defining the concept of satisfaction and ergonomics which is still at a comparatively early stage of development, and the effect of this in practice is that the majority of ergonomics assignments involve research. And then there discussions difficult theories of motivation and satisfaction such as Maslow' theory and Horzberg's theory. And in this paper I'll try to formulate the logical consequences of those theories for the relation between ergonomics and satisfaction. Finally I'll conclude with some ideas about the significance of ergonomics satisfaction. The level of satisfaction experienced with one's work is a complete function of the degree to which different values connected with work and with its concomitant results are attained, the opportunities perceived for the attainment of these values, the relative advantages and disadvantages of the work situation compared with that of other people, and personality and cultural determinants. As for ergonomics, the ergonomist's comprehension will need in future to encompass more of the emotional, attitudinal and motivational facts of working people. Ergonomically - designed work will not produce high degrees of satisfaction, but absence of ergonomics in design will be connected with some dissatisfaction. So this paper suggest s that ergonomics has some significance for work satisfaction and that social Psychological efforts to enhance work satisfaction cannot easily succeed without taking into account human-factors principles.

The subjects of this study were 220 women in their 20s to 50s who reside in Seoul and the Gyeonggi-do area and are users of skin care salons. The data was statistically analyzed using SPSS V.25.0 and detailed research results are as follows. For the analysis of this study, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, independent sample T-Test, one-way analysis of variance, post hoc test, Duncan test, and regression analysis were conducted. First, as a result of examining whether skin care salon decision factors during the pandemic have a positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction, hygienic environment satisfaction and service environment satisfaction, which are sub-factors of customer satisfaction, had a significant effect on professionalism, kind service, and distance, which are sub-factors of decision factors, and are independent variables. Second, as a result of examining whether skin care salon decision factors during the pandemic have a positive (+) effect on revisit intention, decision factors, which are independent variables, including professionalism, kind service, price, and distance showed significant effects on human revisit intention, As for physical revisiting intention, only kind service, distance, and professionalism showed significant effects, while price did not have a significant effect. Third, as a result of examining whether customer satisfaction during the pandemic has a positive (+) effect on revisiting intention, the service environment satisfaction and hygienic environment satisfaction, which were sub-factors of independent variables, showed significant results for human and physical revisit intentions. In this study, service environment and hygienic environment satisfaction were important variables for skin care salon decision factors. Professionalism and kind service were important for human revisit intention. • This paper proposed a service satisfaction index in the service design. We utilize the service blueprint as the basic tool for the service process analysis, construct a service flow fishbone diagram which consists of the encounters representing the interaction between customer and service deliverer. To evaluate the service satisfactions of the service element a service satisfaction function is used. The service satisfaction function has the generic properties of the prospect theory with the probabilistic utility value in order to evaluate the service bundle which Is constructed by tangible and intangible service elements. A numerical example using the A/S service of Electronic Co. is presented for the verification.
