The purpose of this study is to provide the guideline of the interior design of Wedding halls, based on a series of investigations and analysis of the consumer's preference. Marriage is an essential ceremony of family life. However the Wedding culture has been changed since the western culture affected to traditional marriage concept. Many countries have different wedding culture and traditiov. Ours are largely divided into the traditional Korean wedding ceremony and the modern, i.e. the westerv. The customer's preference and the opinion for the Wedding hall analyzed through survey to find out the guideline for the interior desigv. The result of this research can be summarized as followings; 1) The interior design was the most influential element when choosing the wedding hall. 2) The preferred colors for the wedding hall were pink and white. 3) The preferred light fixture for the wedding hall was the chandelier. 4) The main points concerned in the guideline of interior design for the wedding hall were building facade, accessibility toward the wedding hall, parking lot, traffic circulation and etc.

In this paper, an effective design procedure was proposed to design the rib of die structure for auto-body member with ultra-high strength steel (UHSS) having ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of 1.5 GPa. From analysis results of the die structure, structural safety of the die was evaluated with information such as displacement and von-Mises stress. It was concluded that the casting part could be designed in order to reduce tool deformation. A design guideline of the die structure was proposed, especially for the rib structure in the casting part with an optimization scheme and local reinforcement concept. Simulation result following the design guideline fully explained that stability of the tool structure could be obtained simultaneously with weight minimization.

The standard of performance-based seismic design accepted by Ministry of Construction and Transport requires to install and manage earthquake instruments for the facilities of seismic category I and to acquire earthquake response data of these facilities at earthquake events. So detailed standard and guideline for installation and management of earthquake instruments for each facilities according to the seismic design standard are getting ready. This paper presents the part of installation locations of sensors in that detaile standard and guideline.

Wayfinding is a 'Process solving problem to find destination', and it is important to select spatial data for optimal way. Recently, due to the complexity of space and the expansion of the medium of the wayfinding service, it is necessary to the approach on the information design for them. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a meta guideline on the information design for the design of orientation sign, which is an important cognitive clue in the wayfinding. It was conducted in 3 stages, First, a design process was proposed and design elements were derived for each step by literature research related to information and sign design, and analysis of manual for signage design. Second, a meta guideline for information organization and visualization in the three-stage design process was proposed by FGI and analysis. Third, the meta guideline was applied to the sign design on an area for user evaluation to inspect the applicability of the meta guideline. Through the user questionnaire, the possibility of applying the guideline for visualization of directions and spaces, information hierarchy according to spatial characteristics and information priority was identified. It is meaningful in that necessary element for signage design are systematized centering on the process and that it presents a macroscopic methodology according to spatial characteristics.

In this study, we proposed a design guideline of height-adjustable wash basin which is an assistive product for personal hygiene for persons with disability. We performed biomechanical assessments using both of conventional and prototype height adjustable wash basin. Total five elderly subjects (all male, age $68.6{\pm}4.3yrs.$, height $169.8{\pm}5.7cm$, weight $70{\pm}7.7kg$) participated for the assessment test. Each joint angles were measured by using a 3D motion capture system when subjects use wash basins, and the lumbar moment of each subjects was estimated based on a human body model. From the assessment results, a design guideline which has the range of the height from 652[mm] to 1162[mm] was proposed. Then additional assessment tests with five healthy subjects ($25.8{\pm}1.8yrs.$, $175.5{\pm}5.8cm$, $74{\pm}15.7kg$) were performed in order to verify effectiveness of the design guideline. The results showed a height-adjustable wash basin applied the proposed design guideline was effective to reduce the lumbar moment.

In the design guideline about the existing elderly house, the equipment related to kitchen and bathroom are the most important in the secure and functional aspect. On the other hand, the present elderly house is being designed according to foreign design guideline or common housing form instead of reflecting living and physical qualities of the korean elderly. Therefore, in this study based on the guideline of the existing literature, we made kitchen and bathroom equipments and conducted an experiment in finding proper position and height for korean elderly enough to use the kitchen and bathroom conveniently and independently. Based on the guideline of the existing literature related to foreign and domestic elderly house, we made Mock-up furnished with the equipments of kitchen and bathroom. The equipments of kitchen consist of sink and shelves to be capable of changing height. The equipments of bathroom consist of different height wash bowls, toilet stools, grab bars, and a bathtub. The study was accomplished by observing and measuring the use of the elderly.
