Study of Reliability Index in Concrete Structures Considering Coefficient of Variation of Degradation Factors (열화인자별 변동계수 변화에 따른 콘크리트 구조물의 신뢰성 지수에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, a variety of researches has been carried out to estimate the reliability-based analysis and design method of concrete structures and is attracted by probabilistic-based durability analysis/method of concrete structures subjected to chloride containing environment using MCS (Monte Carlo Simulation). Probabilistic-based durability analysis/method was proposed by lots of researches, but there is the lack of data for degradation factors for the calculation of probability distribution. The reliability based durability analysis method represents that the service life and reliability index varies with the probability distribution and coefficient of variation of each factor. Therefore, in this paper, the importance of experiment data for the degradation factors is confirmed and the study of reliability index in RC structures under chloride attack environments is performed considering the variation coefficient of degradation factors.

A Validation of Differences in Academical Achievement among Bartle's Player Types in Educational Gamification Environments (교육 게이미피케이션 환경에서 바틀의 플레이어 유형간 학업 성취도 차이 검증)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the difference in academic achievement among Bartle's player types in an educational gamification environment. For the research, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 250 students who took courses at the K - university in $2^{nd}$ semester, 2016. A total of 235 people participated a survey. The Overall score data and player type questionnaire results were combined and statistical analysis was used to validate the difference in academic achievement. According to the results, there was a significant difference in academic achievement by each type of players. The result of this study may be used to design a gamified curriculum considering the characteristics of learner's player types.

  • The demands of urban people for rural natural environments will increase but poor and low level of infrastructure facilities delay the development of green tourism villages as an attractive green tour destination. The objective of this paper are to offered a rural landscape improvement simulation of a aqueduct and designing that to meet the needs of the community.

Comparison of Factors affecting Clinical Competence between Associate and Bachelor Nursing Students Completed Nursing Courses (학제별 간호학생의 임상수행능력 영향요인 비교)

  • Purpose: This study was to compare the influencing factors of clinical competence between associate and bachelor nursing students completing nursing courses. Method: The subjects were 429 students completing the nursing courses (172 bachelor course students, and 257 associate course students). The study design was cross sectional. Results: Bachelor students showed a significant higher score in clinical competence than associate students. There were significant influencing factors on clinical competence including critical thinking disposition, professional conduct, communication skill, theoretical education satisfaction, and practice education satisfaction. The strongest factor influencing clinical competence was critical thinking disposition. All the factors mentioned above explained 49% of clinical competence in associate courses, and 40.0% in bachelor courses excluding the factor of practice education satisfaction. The level of theoretical and practice education satisfaction of bachelor courses was significantly lower than associate. Conclusion: It is recommended that associate course nursing students should be encouraged in critical thinking disposition, professional conduct, and communication skill. Bachelor course nursing students should be encouraged in practical education including practical environments, instruction methods, and content for improving clinical competence.

A Study on Framing Techniques of Landscape Assessment Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process - The Assessment on the Landscape Control Points - (AHP 기법을 활용한 경관평가법 작성에 관한 연구 - 경관통제점에서의 평가 -)

  • This study creates the LCP (Landscape Control Point) through the survey of spot sites for the quality of landscape assessment, which is based on an objective and departmentalized data base; the landscape assessment was achieved by production of weight value with the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) technique, selection of requisites for the landscape assessment with the IVERSON method and visual area analysis with GIS (Geographic Information System). Futhermore, validity of the landscape assessment was verified by analysis of the correlation between physical amount and aesthetic amount. The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic essential data for landscape assessment and landscape planning by the characteristics of landscape based on verification of the suggested landscape assessment methods. The results of this study are summarized below. 1. In the adaptation of landscape assessment using GIS, the landscape assessment points of LCP 18, 17 and 16, which have more visible elements such as hill area, mountain area, and forest and farm land, were indicated to be higher than the others. In contrast, the landscape assessment points of LCP 13, 6 and 10, which have less visible elements, were relatively lower than the others. 2. In the visible preference measuring method, LCP 4, 14, and 16 showed high points of landscape assessment with 3.46, 3.4, and 3.18 each. With the more natural environments such as hill area, mountain area, and forest and farm land, higher results were shown. In contrast, LCP 7, 1, and 9 showed low points of landscape assessment with 2.24, 2.36, and 2.53 each. 3. In this study, a coefficient of 0.746 was gained by the analysis of correlation between the points of landscape assessment method and the points of visual preference from a slide show. This has 99 percent of probability in statistical data. 4. In conclusion, with the demonstration of the correlation between the landscape assessment method based on the AHP technique and the aesthetic amount (preference proportion), the practical use of landscape assessment can be demonstrated by the suggested landscape assessment method.

  • The various Smartphone platforms that are used currently make difficult to build efficient applications("apps") for Smartphone. Introduction of middleware in the Smartphone environment is being studied to solve this problem. By enhancing interoperability between server systems and Smartphone platforms as introducing this middleware supports efficiently for Smartphone apps to be developed and managed. Thus, the development of this middleware for Smartphone has become essential for the purpose of responding actively to the rapidly expanding Smartphone market. In this research, we designed and implemented Smartphone middleware which optimizes the cost and time for developing new application service and maintaining it. In order to test this implemented middleware's performance and its capabilities, we also developed university Smartphone apps and activated campus twitter.

The Application Service Model and Platform for Web Services Based on USN Application Developments (웹 서비스 기반의 USN 응용 개발을 위한 응용서비스 모델 및 플랫폼)

  • The advancement of computer network technology, coupled with the growing prevalence of Internet, is promoting ubiquitous computing, also called next-generation computing paradigm, as an important study field that many researches are joining and undergoing. In this paper, as the support technology for creating ubiquitous computer environment, we design the SSDLbased on XMLwhich is used for sending and receiving data by USN application service in a standardized form. A ref model, with no regard to different platforms or implementation languages, is proposed in our research on the basis of web service so that most of unspecified users could apply the standardized protocol designed for sensor data to real sensor data in various application environments based on the designed language. Therefore, through this research we can take advantage of acquisition of USN-based technology and technology draft related to application service.

  • The study is being conducted to ensure the transparency of research and development have identified the problems of the current system and improve the way out. Such a study about the subject that do not follow either outside the institutional system has a disadvantage compared to an unfulfilled. R & D in order to prevent the misuse and fraud enforcement shall detect abnormal transactions that occur from transactions between research institutions and credit card issuers in real time. In this paper, we propose a detection method for real-time transaction over. It is able to detect and respond fraudulent transactions that may occur in a variety of environments by adding the data obtained by the business rules to derive stopped making detection system.

The Development and Operation of A Connected Curriculum Model between Vocational High School and General High School (실업계고등학교와 일반계고등학교의 연계 교육과정 모형 개발과 운영)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and operate a curriculum which is able to connect a vocational high school to a general high school. That curriculum makes it possible to meet the necessity of accepting the learning rights for the students of a small scale school located in a rural community. And also, it is able to broaden the implementation of the elective-centered curriculum in the $7^{th}$ curriculum. So, We developed a connected curriculum model which fulfills to the utmost the requirement of a few students who want to go to a collage after finishing vocational high school and who want to get a job after finishing general high school in a electing their subjects and then operated it with student's moving to the connected schools on a Saturday. In this study, we got the results as follows: First, we prepared the curriculum environments which can accept the learning-demands of students in a small scale school located in a rural community. To do so, we publicized the curriculum of a vocational high school connected to that of a general high school, made questions, and organized the committee of students, parents and teachers and so on. Second, we organized and implemented the connected curriculum so that a small number of students could learn the subjects they demands. So, a small number of the vocational high school students could have learned the 'Math I' and 'English Conversation' which were not allowed in their school. And also, a small number of the general high school students who hope to have an occupation after graduation could have learned 'Web Design' subject. Third, we examined the problems and presented the solving methods according to organizing and implementing the connected curriculum. So we could have served as an aid on building up the foundation of the generation of the elective-centered curriculum.

Development of a G-machine Based Translator for a Lazy Functional Programming Language Miranda (지연함수언어 Miranda의 G-기계 기반 번역기 개발)

  • This study is aimed at construction of a translator for a functional programming language. For this goal we define a functional programming language which has lazy semantics and develop a translator for it. The execution model selected is the G-machine-based combinator graph reduction. The translator is composed of 4 phases and translates a source program to a C program. The first phase of the translator translates a source program to a enriched lambda- calculus graph, the second phase transforms a lambda-calculus graph into supercombinators, the third phase translates supercombiantors to a G program and the last phase translates the G program to a C program. The final result of the translator, a C program, is compiled to an executable program by C compiler. The translator is implemented in C using compiler development tools such as TACC and Lex, under the UNIX environments. In this paper we present the design and implementation techniques for developing the translator and show results by executing some test problems.
