한국형 고속전철(KHST) 실내소음 설계기준을 위한 주요 소음원의 허용소음도 (The allowable sound levels of major noise sources for the indoor-noise requirements of KHST)

  • It is required that the indoor-noise level of KHST (Korean High Speed Train) should be lower than 66 dB(A) at 300 km/h. In this study, the indoor-noise level of KHST has been predicted to determine the maximum allowable sound power levels of major noise sources. It is found that the indoor-noise requirements for KHST can be met by increasing the transmission losses of the floor and side-wall structures as well as by lowering the sound power levels of the major noise sources.

  • Currently, Atomic Force Microscope(AFM) has been widely used to measure the surface topography of a sample by detecting interaction force between atoms on the sample and extremely sharp probe tip. The vertical resolution of AFM is mainly determined by external vibration noise. The resolution of AFM shows different values for the different environment, thus it is necessary to determine relationship between the criteria and the resolution of AFM regardless of environment. In this paper, we discuss the allowable level of floor vibration for AFM equipment at given resolution. The vibration criteria can be used as reference data to design mechanical structure and to analyze the structural dynamics of AFM equipment.

  • Various design factors should be considered in order to apply the concrete slab track system on the soil/rock roadbed. One of the important factors is the settlement of roadbed. This settlement of concrete track should be supervised under the allowable settlement limit. If the settlement of roadbed under the concrete track exceed the allowable limit, the train serviceability will considerably come down and furthermore the fatal disaster may happen. Therefore, in this paper we introduced a digitalized grouting method as a settlement restoration method that can be suitably adopted to the concrete slab track. And we also evaluated the train service stability through the analysis of the track behavior according to the difference of the stiffness between the grouted part and the original roadbed.

Study of the Distribution Properties and LRFD Code Conversion in Japanese Larch

  • This study was performed to develop an LRFD (Load Resistance Factored Design) Code for Domestic Larch. To accomplish his, we evaluated bending, compression, tension and shear strength. The results of the strength evaluation were utilized to verify the distribution and code conversion. For bending, tension and compressive strength, the Weibull distribution was well-fitted, but for shear strength we observed a normal distribution. For evaluating the bending and compressive strength, a full-sized specimen was used. A small clear specimen was used to test tension and shear strength. Compressive strength in particular was found to be affected by tight knots, although there was little difference between grades. In the code conversion, the design value of the LRFD was larger than the existing allowable stress value in the Korean Building Code. However, the allowable stress in this study was about two times higher than the value listed in the Korean Building Code. This result induced the difference between the soft and hard conversions. For greater reliability, the accumulation of additional data is necessary and further studies should be performed

소규모 유역에서 자연방류형 단일저류지의 임계지속기간 분석 (The Analysis of Critical Duration of uncontrolled single detention facility in Small Catchment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 소규모 유역에서 홍수 저류시설물과 홍수 조절시설물 사이의 임계지속기간을 평가하는데 있다. 4개 소규모 유역을 통하여 수문분석을 실시하였으며, 유효우량은 NRCS 유효우량 산정방법으로 산정하였다. 홍수 저류시설물과 홍수 조절시설물의 임계지속기간은 허용방류량 고정개념을 이용하여 평가하였다. 허용방류량 고정개념을 이용한 경우 최대 저류비를 발생시키는 시간분포는 Huff 2분위 시간분포로 나타났으며, 자연방류형 단일저류지에서 홍수 조절시설물의 임계지속기간은 홍수 저류시설물의 임계지속기간과 유사한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 광대역용 박판 전파흡수체의 설계에는 자성재료가 많이 사용되며, 주로 자성재료 박판의 이면에 금속판을 접착하여 만든다. 이 경우,6개의 변수를 포함하는 한개의 이론식에 의해 무반사 또는 보다 실용적인 99% 이상의 흡수(20dB 전파감소)가 가능한 전파흡수체의 형상과 재료 및 전자파 상수가 정의된다. 2여B 전파감소에 해당 하는 정합 경제값을 계산하기 위하여 Secant법을 적용하였으며, 전파흡수체 설계시 허용 가능한 재료 상수값의 범위를 구하기 위하여 Secant볍을 응용한 search algorithm을 개발하였다. 6개의 변수 모두에게 적용할 수 있 는 이 수치해석 방법에 의해 최소의 반복 계산으로 정확한 값을 효율적으로 구할 수 있었다.

NATM 산악터널의 숏크리트 투입율에 관한 연구 (A study on Actual Quantity of Shotcrete Sprayed in a NATM tunnel)

  • This study has analysed actual overbreak, shotcrete rebound and the ratio between the actual quantity of shotcrete to designed shotcrete measured during a NATM tunnel construction. The measured shotcrete rebound was about 7.2% in average which was about half the allowable rebound (15%), showing shotcrete spraying was performed well. Based on the measurement of excavated tunnel shape, average overbreak was about 28.5cm after tunnel excavation by drill and blasting method. This was about 260% of allowable overbreak. In addition, due to the rebound and overbreak actual amount of shotcrete used in the tunnelling work was about 116.5 % of the designed value. According to the field measurement the ratio of actual shotcrete to designed value showed some relation with standard support pattern, but the size of overbreak did not show the correlation with standard support pattern. Hence current design specifications stating the size of overbreak based entirely on standard support pattern should perhaps be reestablished. The insight into the design guideline regarding overbreak and shotcrete.

랜덤 분포 구조의 분산 제어 광전송 링크에서 RDPS의 편차가 왜곡된 WDM 채널의 보상에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Deviations of RDPS on the Compensation for Distorted WDM Channels in Dispersion-Managed Optical Transmission Links of Random Distribution Schemes)

  • 분산 제어 (DM; dispersion management)와 광 위상 공액 기술이 결합된 전송 링크의 융통적 구성을 위해 중계 구간 당 잉여 분산(RDPS; residual dispersion per span)이 랜덤하게 분포하는 링크에서 RDPS 편차에 따른 WDM 채널의 보상 특성을 살펴보았다. 또한 허용 가능 NRD (net residual dispersion) 관점에서 RDPS 편차에 따른 링크 설계 기준도 제시하였다. RDPS 편차가 적을수록 WDM 채널 보상 효과가 우수하다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 특정 눈 열림 패널티 (EOP; eye opening penalty)를 얻을 수 있는 허용 가능 NRD가 RDPS 편차에 비례하여 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 융통적인 장거리 광전송 링크 설계에 참고 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

분말압축성형용 단일보강링 금형의 최적설계 (Optimum Design of one Stress-Ring Die for Powder Compaction)

  • Shrink-rings (Stress-rings) are used in the fabrication of powder compaction dies to increase the allowable compaction pressures for a given die material. Optimum Procedures are used to insure that the stress distributions in the die and stress-rings ultilize fully the strength available in each of the die elements. Two criteria for the optimum die design are used: Maximum shear stress limit for one-piece dies and zero tensile stress limit for combined dies. Examples for each case are presented in this paper.

  • Nowadays, It has adapted both Ultimate Strength Design(USD) and Allowable Stress Design(ASD) Method evaluating load-carrying capacity of PSC I Type Girder Bridge. But it has confused because the each method has brought some different results. This study shows some results of loading test of the PSC I type Girder Bridge and analyzed the structural behavior by FEM analysis considering material nonlinear. Parametric study of effective prestress of post tendon is performed and compared to results of loading test.
