The Effect of Design Thinking Based Artificial Intelligence Education Programs on Middle School Students' Creative Problem Solving Ability

  • 본 논문에서는 중학생으로 대상으로 디자인 씽킹 기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 적용하여 창의적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 검사도구는 이화선, 표정민, 최인수(2014)의 CPS 이론을 토대로 창의적 사고유형 능력을 측정하기 위한 검사도구인 창의적 문제해결 프로파일 검사(CPSPI: Creative Problem Solving Profile Inventory)를 사용하였다. CPSPI는 기존 검사들의 한계를 보완하여 인지적 선호도와 인지적 능력을 평가하고, 자신의 아이디어를 타인과 공유하고 설득하는 단계를 포함하였다. 디자인 씽킹 기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램 적용 전 후, 창의적 문제해결력을 분석한 결과, 모든 영역에서 유의미하게 상승하였다. 중학생의 창의적 문제해결력을 분석한 결과 문제발견 및 분석, 아이디어 생성, 실행계획, 실행, 설득 및 소통 영역에서 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 인공지능교육에서 창의적 문제해결력을 향상시키기 위한 교수학습 방법으로 디자인 씽킹의 효과를 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 디자인 사고를 적용한 피지컬 컴퓨팅 SW교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하고자 하였다. 제작한 SW교육 프로그램 제주시 소재 J, B 2개 초등학교 5, 6학년 22명의 학생을 대상으로 적용하였다. 창의성과 컴퓨팅 사고력 사전검사를 실시하고 총 5회기 20시간에 걸쳐 디자인 사고를 적용한 피지컬 컴퓨팅 SW교육을 진행한 후 창의성과 컴퓨팅 사고력 사후검사를 실시하였다. 검증 결과, 디자인 사고를 적용한 피지컬 컴퓨팅 SW교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 창의성과 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

체성실행장애 아동을 위한 개별치료와 그룹치료를 병행한 감각통합치료가 감각통합능력 및 작업수행능력에 미치는 효과: 개별 실험 연구 (The Effects of the Sensory Integration Intervention Focused on Combined Both Individual Therapy and Group Therapy for Sensory Integration Ability and Occupational Performance Abilities in Children With Somatodyspraxia: Case Study)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 실행장애 아동에게 맞게 고안된 개별치료와 또래와 함께 실시한 그룹치료를 병행한 감각통합치료가 작업수행능력에 미치는 효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 연구 대상은 2012년 만 5세 11개월의 남아로 작업수행을 의존하여 감각통합치료에 의뢰되었다. 연구설계는 개별실험연구(single-subject research design) 중 ABA설계를 사용하였다. 연구 과정은 기초선 기간 4회기, 중재 기간 24회기로 총 12주간 각 주1회씩 개별치료와 그룹치료를 병행하여 감각통합치료를 실시하였다. 실험기간동안 목표성취척도(Goal Attainment Scale: GAS)를 통하여 체성감각변별능력과 자세조절능력에 따른 감각통합능력의 변화되는 과정을 측정하였고 기초선평가와 재평가를 통해 작업수행능력을 측정하였다. 결과 : 개별치료와 그룹치료를 병행한 감각통합치료는 체성실행장애 아동의 체성감각변별능력과 자세조절능력의 향상과 함께 작업수행기술의 성취에 효과가 있었다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통하여 개별치료와 그룹치료를 병행한 감각통합치료는 체성실행장애 아동의 적응반응에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다.

FPGA 기반의 멀티미디어 재생기 설계 교육용 장비 (Education equipment for FPGA-based multimedia player design)

  • FPGA를 이용해서 다양한 멀티미디어 데이터 처리가 가능한 교육장비를 소개한다. 이 장비를 이용해서 영상인식 기반의 하드웨어 설계의 한 사례를 소개하고 그 설계를 기반으로 "FPGA를 이용한 디지털시스템 설계" 교과목의 교육 가능한 사례를 소개한다. 학생들에 의해서 새롭게 설계한 하드웨어를 본 FPGA를 이용해서 하드웨어 장비에 적용시키는 능력을 배양할 수 있고, 또한 개념 설계, 부분설계, 상세설계를 통해서 FPGA 기반 하드웨어의 창의적 종합설계 능력을 키울 수 있다. 그리고 오디오 코덱을 제어하는 부분은 FPGA내에 있는 소프트 마이크로프로세서인 NIOS II를 이용해서 한 칩에 디지털 하드웨어와 마이크로컨트롤러를 결합한 SOC 설계 능력을 키울 수 있다. 또한, 무선통신, Labivew와 FPGA 설계 능력을 결합하는 적용능력도 키울 수 있다.

역량기반 교육과정 개발 사례연구: 광주·전남 패션디자인 전공을 중심으로 (A Case Study for the Development of a Competency-Based Fashion Design Curriculum in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do)

  • This case study is centered on the developing process for the curriculum of fashion design major that is focused on the concept of competency, which is becoming increasingly more important in universities. The purpose of this study is to develop a competency-oriented curriculum for fashion design majors based on recent social changes that accentuate the importance of competency in such programs. In order to establish a competency-oriented curriculum of the Department of Fashion Design, the researchers examined environmental trends within the fashion industry, the curriculum and major competencies of other universities were examined. As a result, the key ability types of the Department of Fashion Design at A University, a local private university, were determined to be: communication and consideration, creativity and convergence, digital fashion, and practical adaptability. Four major abilities were selected to develop competencies suitable for the aforementioned ability types. These abilities are design planning and development, creative and convergent thinking, integrated information search and utilization, and field expertise application. From there, the curriculum was organized with these four major abilities in mind, and curriculum completion plans were developed for each grade and semester according to the stage and level of contents for each subject. To ensure the validity of the curriculum, it is necessary to develop a back-flow system that demonstrates whether the targer competency has been acquired through a competence-based curriculum.

다중 지능 이론에 기초한 미술 교육 프로그램이 유아의 창의성과 공간능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of an Art Education Program Based on Multiple Intelligence Theory on Children's Creativity and Spatial Ability)

  • This study examined the effects of an art program based on multiple intelligence theory on children's creativity and spatial ability. The art education program focused on three processes : perception, production and reflection. Subjects were 68 five-year-old children. The experimental design was 'The Untreated Control Group Design with Pretest & Posttest'. ANCOV was employed for statistical analysis. Results were that the children in the experimental group scored significantly higher on creativity and spatial ability than the children in the control group. Results imply that an art education program based on multiple intelligence theory can be an effective teaching model for improving children's creativity and spatial ability.

Immediate Effect of Kinesiology Taping on Gait Function in Stroke Patients with Foot Drop

  • Background: Recently, the kinesiology taping (KT) method was reported to be effective in improving walking ability in foot drop patients after stroke, but the clinical basis is still unclear. Objectives: The KT method was compared with ankle-foot orthotics (AFO) to investigate gait ability in foot drop patients after stroke. Design: Crossover study design. Methods: In this study, 11 stroke patients with foot drop participated. Walking ability of all subjects for both conditions (KT and AFO) was measured using the GAITRite system. The order of application of the two conditions was determined randomly by drawing lots. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare walking ability between the two conditions. The level of statistical significance was set at P<.05. Results: There were no significant differences between the KT and AFO methods in terms of velocity, cadence, step length, and stride length (P>.05, all). Conclusion: This study recommends KT as an alternative to the AFO, since KT provides evidence of preventing of foot drops and improving gait ability in stroke patient.

창의성 증진을 위한 유추의 활용방법(1) - 상업공간 디자인과제를 중심으로 한 실험연구 - (A Study on Using Method of Analogy for Creativity Enhancement(1) - Experimental Study Focused on the Design Task of Commercial Space -)

  • The objective of this study is to find a educational method that is able to increase creativity using both left and right directed thinking with complementary cooperation. The premise of experimental study is that analogical inference is a great help to make a creative design, and design tasks of commercial space, fashion shop and herb cafe are given to 25 students, voluntary participants in experimental tests. Tests make a clear distinction between a case using verbal analogy from many keywords and another case using verbal visual analogy from keywords and visual images. Consequently, when students use both verbal and visual analogy in solving design tasks their creative ability qualitatively as well as quantitatively is higher than in using verbal analogy. However, when students are classified with high and low sketching group verbal visual analogy is effective for students with high sketching ability to enhance both practicality and originality. Even students with low sketching ability can improve originality remarkably by using verbal visual analogy. In experiment there is time limit, a hour, but in actual studio class it is desirable that an educator guides the latter to make up for the weak points in practicality of their design taking time. Further study will be progressed with the design tasks of residential space to compare with the findings of this study.

인간능력에 대한 인간공학연구 (A Study on Human Engineering for Human Ability)

  • Human Engineering has an intention of design to keep the best condition of man-machine system. Hitherto the conception of design has been used to include existing engineering, as mechanical engineering and electric engineering. But the manufactured goods which to be made these process seem to be fully equipped on physical function, but faults come out discountent repeatedly to users. Accordingly, the development of industrial design has been demanded for improving functional design. It is considered that industrial design has aesthetical sensation. In actually, it must be 1. to provide for utility and safety, 2. easy for maintenance, 3. cheap at cost. 4. possible for sales appeal, 5. and good on appearance. As taking into consideration above five conditions, however, for 삯e sake of comprehend to human being about operating method of machinery and equipment, it should be reflected to design what kind of training way will be needed. Also, it must be considered what a certain extent would be occurred tiredness to human being. in other words. it should be considered the design to be possible the reflect to principle of motion economy, It should not be made adoption of human ability for the designed machinery, it must be adopted the method to consider the design on presuppose about human ability. For study of these actual fact, this paper is summarized the essence of human engineering, and also to find out the methodology as humanistic engineering, It is, Particularly, subdivisionization of operation in flow operation is essential direction of mechanization. Generally. as developing the subdivisionization of operation, it will be lack of satisfaction on operation which worker take charge of. The subdivisionization of operation makes the operation to simple-repetitive, to lose the interest of worker and will be also come into question to the feeling of worker's livelihood. It is human's fundamental desire to have get skilful function or special technique. But the subdivisionization of operation hold in those human's fundamental desire and so that it will likely to lose the sorority of living by this fact. Accordingly, this paper have an operation to hold out the methodology on presuppose about human ability.
