A robotic wrist with three rolling motion is considered. It has the gear trains with three independent input parameters and mechanical interference in their motion. This paper presents dervation of basic kinematic equations that relate the input parameters and the orientation of the end-effector, determination of singularities in its motion, and the computational procedure of the inverse kinematics.

This paper proposes a new quickly convergent pattern search quasi-Newton algorithm that employs the multi-step version of the Symmetric Rank One (SRI). The new algorithm works on the factorizations of the inverse Hessian approximations to make available a sequence of convergent positive bases required by the pattern search process. The algorithm, in principle, resembles that developed in [1] with multi-step methods dominating the dervation and with numerical improvements incurred, as shown by the numerical results presented herein.

Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. Suppose that a continuos linear Jordan derivation D:A$\longrightarrow$A is such that either $[D^2(\chi),\chi^2]\;or\;(D^2(\chi),\chi]+(D(\chi))^2$ lies in the jacobson radical of A for all $\chi$$\in$A. Then D(A) is contained in the Jacobson radical of A.

This paper presents a 'mixed' method for performing the sensitivity analysis for multibody dynamics. The mixed method uses both the analytical derivation and the numerical evaluation, in which premitive derivations rely on the analytical process and their associated individual terms are evaluated by the numerical precess. Therefore, this method can eliminate difficulty in dervation of the direct differentiation. Furthermore, by using the joint coordinate formulation for the equations of motion, compulational efficiencyand numerical accuracy are achieved.

This paper focuses on the necessities of interworking and dervation of the requirements of interworking system for interworking between 64 Kbps based N-ISDN (narrowband ISDN) and B-ISDN(broadband ISDN). Furthermore, the design and the implementation of IWF (interworking function) are presentd. We analyze two ISDN signalling systems, and propose the architecture of interworking system. And then we make the baisc call procedure model between N-ISDN and B-ISDN, and verify the dynamic behaviors through the reachability tree of petri net. IWF is designed and implemented for transforming the differences between the two signalling systems. The operational confirmity of th eimplemented program was confirmed by the local test method. The performance of IWF was evaluated throguh the simulation language SLAM-II. As the result of evaluation shows, we confirm that the processing delay is maintained within 3 ms under the utilization 0.9.
