SNS 이용자의 치과 SNS 특성에 관한 인식도 (Perception of dental office visits of social network service users)

  • Background: This study was aimed at investigating the perception of social network service (SNS) users regarding dental office visits and determining the proportion of dental SNS users among general SNS users. Methods: We surveyed 177 adults using SNSs. Dental SNS characteristics were classified into information provision, interaction, recency, reliability, and interest, and the recognition level of each area was surveyed on a 5-point scale. The total number of items was 17, including three information provision, three interaction, four recency, four reliability, and three interest items. Results: Among the five domains, the recognition level was the highest for reliability (3.51 points) and the lowest for interest (2.94 points). Among the 17 items, the recognition level was the highest for "Educational information provided by dental SNS is valuable" at 3.60 points, "Dental SNS educational video is useful for information sharing and dental knowledge improvement" at 3.53 points, and "The perceived educational information of dental SNS is reliable" at 3.51 points. Participants in their 20s and 30s had higher scores for being up-to-date (3.33 and 2.88 points, respectively) and reliability (3.59 and 3.09 points, respectively) than those in their 40s or older. The recognition level of all areas of dental SNS characteristics was significantly higher for experienced dental SNS users than for nonexperienced ones. Conclusions: The results of this study suggested that dental institutions should consider ways to utilize SNS for patient management and education and that dental SNS-related contents should contain educational and reliable information to help SNS users manage their oral health.

SNS 정보 활용이 치과의료기관 이용의사에 미치는 영향 (Influence of social network service(SNS) information on intention to dental office use)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of social network service(SNS) information on intention to dental office use. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 410 users of social network service between twenty and thirty years old in Seoul and Gyeonggido after receiving informed consent from July 1 to August 3, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of general profiles of the subjects(6 items), use of dental office(3 items), use of SNS(3 items), use of dental SNS(4 items), use of general SNS(6 items), application of dental SNS(6 items), and intention to dental office use(2 items). Except 8 incomplete answers, 402 data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The first choice of dental office was recommendation by the acquaintances. There were close correlations between the use of SNS information and the use of general SNS information according to sex(p=0.016) and the frequency of SNS(p=0.012). The use of SNS for dental information showed a meaningful correlation with sex(p=0.003). The intention to use was influenced by sex(p=0.016) and the use of SNS for dental information(p<0.001). Conclusions: The important factor of visit intention to dental service was recommendation by the acquaintances through SNS. The appropriate advertisement of visit intention is very important to improve dental health care.

SNS 환경에서의 뷰티정보특성이 고등학생 소비자 태도와 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of beauty information characteristics in SNS environment on consumer attitudes and loyalty of high school students)

  • 본 연구는 SNS 환경에서의 뷰티정보특성과 고등학생 소비자 태도 및 충성도 간의 인과관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 광주에 거주하는 고등학생을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였으며, 총 413부 중 신뢰성이 떨어진다고 판단되는 38부를 제외한 총 375부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS V.21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 종합해 보면 SNS 환경에서의 뷰티정보특성과 고등학생 소비자 태도 및 충성도의 관계에 있어 상호작용성과 유용성이 핵심요인이며, 정보제공성, 유희성, 생동성이 주요한 요인으로 도출되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 10대 소비자층의 SNS 이용에 있어 올바른 정보수집을 위한 방향 제시와 뷰티기업의 마케팅 전략수립을 위한 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

온라인 치과 롤플레이 영상 및 치과 ASMR 영상의 이용 현황과 효과 분석 (Status and effectiveness of online dental role-play images and dental ASMR videos)

  • This study aimed to compare the perception of dental role-play or dental ASMR videos between the general public and dental personnel, to determine whether they are suitable for mass media or educational media, and to identify guidelines for video production. The survey consent form was agreed on using SNS for the general public and dental personnel, 236 ordinary people and 232 dental officers who said that they watched dental ASMR videos were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of 27 questions for the general public and 31 for dental personnel. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test and the Independent T-test using SPSS 25.0 ver. The viewing experience of 'dental ASMR videos' was significantly higher among dentists (84.7%) than among the general population (71.5%) (p<0.001). Overall, 53.8% of the general public were interested in watching dental ASMR videos, and 47.8% of dental personnel acquired clinical information from them.. Overall, 64.8% of the general public and 65.5% of the dental workforce felt that such technical videos should be produced under the guidance of experts in the field to provide accurate technical information. It is necessary to avoid indiscriminate video production with inaccurate information produced by non-experts and to continuously monitor dental ASMR videos dental institutions for better quality of the videos.

  • 환자 예약 시스템은 오프라인에서 초진과 재진환자에 대해 병원의 수용능력, 의사별 진료 시간의 차이, 환자의 진료호응도등의 독립된 요소들이 조합을 이루며 통합적으로 이뤄진다. 일반 환자들에게서 SNS를 이용한 예약 시스템은 전담 스탭이 운용하는데 있어 상당한 아이디어를 제공하며, 그 예약 비율을 참고로 하여 보다 진보된 SNS 예약 시스템을 예측해 본다.

성인의 구강건강관리와 칫솔 사용에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting oral health care and toothbrush use in adults)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out how to provide the correct information about toothbrushing and to promote oral health. Methods:A survey was conducted from December 2016 with 354 subjects who are over 20 years old in South Korea to find out the influence of the using toothbrush. The results are as follows. Statistical analysis of the collected data was performed using the SPSS WIN 21.0 statistical program. Results: After reviewing the result that the using toothbrush of oral health according to the general nature, the average score of the female $3.94{\pm}0.87$ was higher than the male, the highest average score of 50-59 age was $4.10{\pm}0.83$. As for the highest average score regarding martial status, the married group's score was $3.91{\pm}0.88$. After reviewing the factors affecting the toothbrushing, the age group of 50-59 has the highest using toothbrush and the more using toothbrush in oral health, the more using toothbrush. Conclusions: Systematic dental health education program is needed to increase the correct knowledge of time to replace the toothbrush among the public. Also it is needed to increase people's toothbrushing constantly by acquiring the information through SNS, AD, and mass media.

대학생의 구강보건행태와 교육요구에 따른 구강보건교육 매체 개발안 (Development proposal of oral health educational media based on the oral health care and educational needs of college students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health care and educational needs of college students in an effort to give some suggestions on the development of oral health educational media. It's basically meant to boost the efficiency of oral health education geared toward college students. Methods : The subjects in this study were 500 students at seven different colleges located in Daejeon and South Choongcheong Province. After a survey was conducted, frequency analysis and ANOVA were utilized to analyze the collected data. And the records of the in-depth interviews of 10 students were analyzed as well. Results : The gender of the students and whether their major was linked to health or not made differences to their knowledge of dental caries. And there was nothing to affect their knowledge of periodontal diseases except whether their major was related to health or not. They didn't have a good knowledge of periodontal diseases, and they just regarded toothbrushing as a means to prevent dental caries and periodontal diseases. They preferred to acquire knowledge over the Internet. Conclusions : College students who don't know well about periodontal diseases should be given an opportunity to learn about periodontal diseases and diverse ways of preventing dental caries and periodontal diseases other than toothbrushing. As the college students preferred to surf the Internet, educational programs should be developed in the form of video clips that can be found over the Internet, and more aggressive publicity is required via SNS, etc.

SNS 설문을 이용한 일부 대학 치위생(학)과 학생들의 AIDS에 대한 지식과 태도 (The knowledge and Attitudes about AIDS using Social Networking Services surveys for Department of Some Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 졸업 후 치과의료기관에서 근무하게 될 치위생(학)과 학생들은 AIDS 감염인의 수명 연장으로 인한 향후 AIDS 감염인의 비율도 높아져 치과의료기관에서의 AIDS 감염인을 접할 기회도 많아지게 될 것이다. 이에 AIDS에 대한 지식 수준이 AIDS에 대한 태도에 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과를 토대로 현재 치위생(학)과 학생들의 AIDS에 대한 지식 수준과 감염인에 대한 태도를 파악하고, 치위생(학)과에서는 CDC에서 발표한 보편주의 지침을 통해 감염방지에 대한 올바른 인식을 갖추도록 해야 하며 에이즈에 대한 교육이 전문가교육으로 이루어져 잘못된 지식으로 인한 감염자에 대한 낙인이 부정적인 태도로 이어지지 않도록 해야 할 것이다. 또한 향후 치과위생사로서 치과의료기관에서 보편주의 지침을 모든 환자에게 철저히 적용할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 감염 예방에 도움을 줄 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용하기 위해 SNS를 이용한 본 연구를 시도하였다.

일부 치위생과 신입생의 학과 선택 동기와 학과 SNS 이용 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Motivation to Choose a Major and Satisfaction with Social Media Usage in Dental Hygiene Freshman)

  • Background: Due to the declining number of students preparing for university entrance exams , the quota of universities has been decreasing continuously. This situation became increasingly diverse as new media used online, mobile, and PR tools to continuously invite students. This study is aimed at offering the helpful data to plan an effective PR strategy by analyzing the correlation between the major selection and satisfaction of the department's social media usage among freshmen majoring in dental hygiene. Methods: The collected data from the self-reported survey with freshmen were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. The survey items were motive to select the major, social media platform that subjects used, reasons to use the media, time to visit the department's social media platform, and satisfaction level on the department's social media platform, using a 5-point Likert Scale. Results: The reasons for choosing a major were given by 32.2% and 15.9% respondents, respectively, as the vision after graduation and practice facilities. 39.9% and 31.4% used Instagram and YouTube for social media platforms, respectively, for using social media platform; 26.9% and 26.3% visited the department's social media before and after entering the university, respectively; 46.4% and 24.9% used Instagram and YouTube for department social media; and they generally satisfied with the contents of the department's social media. 40.9% of them said that information from the department's social media was useful. 33.8% of them said the information from the department's social media exceeded their expectations. 46.8% of them answered that the department's social media made the department's image positive. 33.4% got interested in the major more due to the department's social media. According to 32.1% of respondents, the department's social media was helpful in deciding on a major. With 35.4%, a positive correlation was discovered between the department's practice facilities and satisfaction on the department's social media. Conclusion: It is thought that the department's social media should try continuously by uploading the contents to meet the users' needs on a regular basis and seeking the plans to be able to collect various opinions using surveys through the related social media so that students can select the major and, moreover, lead the positive direction to adapt the university life under the unfamiliar environment after admission.
