Development of digital information and internet technology causes the changes of technology environments and companies, and the variety of customer needs has been dynamically changed in terms of integrating information system with customer satisfaction. Moreover a new logistics concept is needed through the sharing information between suppliers and consumers, which maximizes the level of customers service and its flexibility by changing functional-oriented to process-oriented. In other words, Supply Chain Management (SCM) is now considered as a key aspect of business, which controls the flows of information, funds, and goods in the supply chain. Rationalization of transport-delivery system will be one of the most important issues on logistics management to the domestic companies. The companies need the effective delivery system. Especially in the case of delivery system from distribution centers to customers or vendors, it might take a long time to control the delivery system manually because it would be hard to apply the automatic vehicle routing algorithm effectively considering all the practical constraints. Thus this study develops a heuristic algorithm of automatic vehicle delivery support system in terms of grouping by short ranges of vehicle movement utilizing postal coordinates, which satisfies a variety of realistic constraints and reduces controlling time of manual operations. In addition, the performance of the algorithm developed in this study is evaluated through the case study.

Push-based broadcasting in wireless information services is a very effective technique to disseminate information to a massive number of clients when the number of data items is small. When the database is large, however, it nay be beneficial to integrate a pull-based (client-to-server) backchannel with the push-based broadcast approach, resulting in a hybrid data delivery. In this paper, we analyze the performance behavior of a predeclaration-based transaction processing, which was originally devised for a push-based data broadcast, in the hybrid data delivery through an extensive simulation. Our results show that the use of predeclaration-based transaction processing can provide significant performance improvement not only in a pure push data delivery, but also in a hybrid data delivery.

Purpose: During and after Covid-19 pandemic, technology has emerged as a key factor in supporting the recovery of the economy and the rise of living standards. This study examines seven factors affecting the intention of food delivery apps usage, which include Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value, and Habit, and how much influence they have on the customers' behavioral continuance of food delivery apps after Covid-19 Pandemic. Research methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive research with 473 qualified respondents from 550 respondents collected. Besides using the UTAUT2 model (Venkatesh et al., 2012), Information Quality was added to give a better explanation for the consumers' intention towards continuance behavior using food delivery apps. The collected data is then processed using SPSS 22.0. Results: Habit factors and Information Quality factors have significant positive effects on promoting food delivery apps usage intention, which in turn influences continuance behavior. In addition, Habit factors and Information Quality factors together have an effect of 48.57% on Behavioral Intention. Conclusion: The result proves that positive habits and food information quality can increase the usage intention towards the behavioral continuance of consumers. Higher usage frequency can be improved by increasing these two factors.

This paper presents a decision support system (DSS) for selecting the best delivery policy at an internet general shopping mall with its own distribution center and many outside enterprises linked up with the mall. The DSS provides the decision maker with the performance information of three delivery policies (individual delivery, collective delivery, mixed delivery) for the given service level, customer order pattern, direct/indirect delivery ratio, unit costs of various delivery modes, upper level of goods characteristic index for collective delivery poller, etc. Furthermore, the DSS allows the decision maker to perform the sensitivity analyses of three delivery policies for their major parameters and unit costs of delivery modes. The DSS is developed with AweSim simulation 1anguage and Visual Basic programming 1anguage.

In this study, the concept, developments and the present situations of an electronic document delivery services, projects and systems are examined. Also the implications of an electronic document delivery services in the library and the future of the services are studied. Some conclusions and a few suggestions derived from the study are as follows : (1) An electronic document delivery services, one of the most innovative methods for delivering the needed materials to a researcher is now being incorporated into an important part of today's information industries. (2) The technological developments have made it possible to deliver nearly all the document formats electronically, and can make the shortest turnaround time to be 30minutes. The technology has also made it possible to develop user-friendly document delivery services by providing the various methods of requesting of, delivering of and charging for the materials. (3) Different types of institutions have made researches, tests, developments and implementation of an electronic document delivery techniques with different features. (4) The issues of copyrights and standards involved in an electronic document delivery still remain as the problems to be solved. (5) The increase and development of patron-initiated document delivery services have and will have some impacts on the library services with the possibility to pass by the librarians intermediation, but to deliver the materials directly to the end-users. (6) The library could take the outside electronic document delivery services as an opportunity. Accordingly, in order to incorporate this services in the interlibrary loan, collection development and other library services, the library should establish appropriate policies, guidelines and management strategies related to the operations. (7) In order to maximize the use of the electronic document delivery services, the library should provide an appropriate education for the librarian and users to have knowledge and skills on the changing techniques of the electronic document delivery and on the various features as well as changing mechanisms by each system and service.

Economists have identified informed consumer choice as one element of a better-functioning health care market, and thus increased attention is directed to the role of information in the health care system. In this country, however, little work has been done for understanding consumers' search behavior in health care market. Based upon this observation, expectant mothers' information search for the choice of delivery care institution was investigated. In doing so, two hypotheses were proposed: 1) Those women who were more active in the search for information would make choice of a delivery care institution with more confidence and would feel greater subsequent satisfaction. 2) The activeness of expectant mothers in information search would depend upon their various personal characteristics, such as socio-economic status, obstetric conditions, and knowledge and attitudes in relation to delivery and health care. The data used for the analysis were collected through face-to-face interviews with those women who had childbirth during the period from January 1, 1996 to the date of interview in February 1998. The survey was conducted using prepared structured questionnaire in Seoul. The sample was drawn from each of arbitrarily defined four regions of Seoul, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest, in proportion to the number of births reported in 1996 in each of them. The distribution of the interviewed women by educational level was made similar to that of mothers of new babies reported in 1996. The sample size was planned to be about 300, but ended up with 319. The results of analysis were generally consistent with the proposed hypotheses. Apparently, information increased expectant mothers' confidence in selecting a delivery care institution and subsequent satisfaction with the institution. Indication is that policy efforts should be strengthened to produce and disseminate relevant, comprehensible and credible information that can aid patient decision making. Also, attention should be directed to motivate patients to actively engage in information search from adequate sources.

In this paper we study the delivery policy of internet bookstores and recommend the improved policy to increase customer satisfaction and sales revenue. We classify customers into two, the price-sensitive and the delivery time-sensitive, and develop a new shipping method, the unhurried shipping, for the price-sensitive who are reluctant to pay shipping fee for the small purchase but willing to wait extra time for the ordered goods. The customers could get discount on shipping fee by the unhurried shipping but have to accept the longer delivery lead-time. We investigate the possible ways to reduce costs with the prolonged delivery time and show that some costs regarding shipmentand inventory could be saved in order to make up for additional shipping costs for the price-sensitive.

In this paper, we study the multi-objectives vehicle and drone routing problem with time windows, MOVDRPTW for short, which is defined in an urban delivery network. We consider the dual modal delivery system consisting of drones and vehicles. Drones are used as a complement to the vehicle and operate in a point to point manner between the depot and the customer. Customers make various requests. They prefer to receive delivery services within the predetermined time range and some customers require fast delivery. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effectiveness of the delivery strategy of using drones and vehicles together with a multi-objective measures. As experiment datasets, we use the instances generated based on actual courier delivery data. We propose a hybrid multi-objective evolutionary algorithm for solving MOVDRPTW. Our results confirm that the vehicle-drone mixed strategy has 30% cost advantage over vehicle only strategy.

Based upon the provision of limitation of copyrights, libraries may provide the document delivery service which supplies copies of journal articles and book chapters owned at other libraries by request of users. However, more proactive information service is required as more users want to use the digital delivery of documents published overseas. This study reviews copyright law of Korea and international conventions related to the document delivery service. It then examines foreign cases to see how overseas information centers clear copyrights. Finally this study suggests that copyright clearance methods be adopted to make a proactive information service. Through those methods, a new information service model may be planned, which meets various information needs while protecting copyright.

The document delivery service is an advanced service to satisfy information need of end-user by the cooperative utilization of information. At present there are various interpretation on library exemption of the document delivery service by interlibrary loan. The purpose of the study is to suggest a legal plan in order to solve the problems of library exemption dealing with the document delivery service by Fax and Ariel system. The study examined the international trends on library exemption related to the document delivery service in foreign copyright laws, analyzed the library exemption related to the document delivery service in the present Korean copyright law, and pointed out the problems of the present library exemption. As the result of this analysis, the study suggested a revised plan of the present Korean copyright law in order to provide regulation of library exemption dealing with the document delivery service by interlibrary loan. Thus the revised plan can be used as a basic data for providing the regulation for the future of library exemption in Korea.
