  • In roll forming process, a sheet metal is continuously progressively formed into a product with required cross-section and longitudinal shape, such as a circular tube with required diameter, wall-thickness and straightness, by passing through a series of forming rolls in arranged in tandem. In recent years, that process is often applied to the bumper rail in the automotive industries. In this study, a optimal front side member manufacturing technology, model deign and proper roll-pass sequences can be suggested by forming number of roll-pass and bending angle. And also effects of the process parameters on the final shape formed by roll forming defects were evaluated.

주거공간 실내이미지에 따른 색채팔레트 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of the color palettes leer the residential interiors according to the image types)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the color palettes which are applicable to the color deign process for residential interiors according to the image types. To achieve this purpose, review of literature, questionnaire survey, and contents analysis were used. The major results of this study are as follows : The interior color images are clearly divided into 4 types, such as 'sophisticated', 'natural', 'gorgeousl', and 'casual'From the results of color palette, these 4 color image types are found to be very closely related to the interior image. It means that color image is very important element in Interior design process. Therefore, it is helpful to plan the color design according to the image types of interior color for good interior design.

  • An intelligent software system which can support efficiently and systematically machine tool design by utilizing deign knowledge is described in this paper. The process of embodiment design of a machining center was modelled represented by IDEF0 and embedded in the system. A hybrid type inference engine has been introduced so that the system can effec-tively deal with knowledge represented in diversified forms The design system was developed on the basis of object-ori-ented programming and has been coded into one software system which can be ported on Windows NT.

  • In this study, the design of prestressed die for spur gear forging have been investigated. The stress concentration at notch of the die insert is very important in the design of die for the forging of spur gear such as non-axisymmetric geometry. In the previous study, the flexible tolerance method was used in order to search the optimal value of design variables considering the constrain conditions. In the design process, it was also involved the safety factor to the yield strength of each ring by considering allowable tensile or compressive hoop stress in each ring. Using this technique, the die deign for spur gear forging has been successfully performed without yielding of the die after shrink fitting and during forging.

가스터빈 연소기 기본 설계 프로그램 개발 (Preliminary Design Program Development for Gas Turbine Combustor)

  • The objective of the current study is to introduce detailed process for a preliminary combustor design, and to develop a computer code for it. The program includes various empirical and semi-empirical methodologies for diffuser deign, combustor sizing, air distribution, and sub-component design such as primary and secondary zones. Using the developed program, the combustor sizing results are shown from an assumption of simple annual combustor cycle analysis. Two options are employed, 1) pressure loss approach, and 2) velocity assumption approach. Design results show that there are no significant differences in combustor sizing between two design options. Further code improvement is required for performance and emission evaluations of the designed combustor.

  • The advent of BIM(Building Information Modeling) design process based on the digital media has brought innovation to the production and management of AEC industry. Accordingly the need for educating BIM professionals has been radically increased both in the real world practice and in academia. Some developed countries have already been studying and establishing the optimized curriculum in the academic architecture courses for BIM based education with multi_efforts using the digital media as design processing tools focused on educating architectural professionals with creativity and productivity. However in the domestic education systems, it is hardly found that researches and curriculums deal with the BIM education in the academia. Thus the objective of this paper is to investigate the architectural design pedagogy in the advanced digital media setting in response to the urgent need for BIM education. This study focuses on developing the curriculum based on practical adaptation of BIM programs for architectural education. It aims to provide students with the basic understanding of BIM theory and the practice of BIM tools as an instrument enhancing the creativity for architectural design. Thus this study proposes an BIM curriculum for the students who first encounter the notion and knowledge of BIM during their academic years. And the education result after the application of this curriculum has been analysed through the students questionnaires before and after the lecture.

  • 현행 국내의 일괄입찰방식은 설계와 시공의 겸업금지로 공동도급 형태의 분담이행방식으로 운영되고 있어, 참여업체간의 의사소통 부족으로 인해 설계변경 클레임이 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 또한 수행절차 과정에서도 사업참여자간 의견대립으로 인해 상호교류가 부족하여 프로젝트를 효율적으로 수행하는데 어려움이 있다. 이 연구에서는 일괄입찰방식, 파트너링과 시공성 분석의 특성을 파악하고, 예비적 고찰을 통한 상호교류의 영향도와 문제점을 분석하여, 일괄입찰방식 실시설계단계에서 프로젝트의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 효율적인 파트너링과 시공성 분석 연계 프로세스 모델을 제시하였다.

교복 브랜드화 시대의 여학생 교복 디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design of Girls' School Uniform Since 1996)

  • Fashion of one period is symbolic and figurative means of expression reflecting spirit, ideology, emotion and aesthetic values of that period. Designs of school uniforms fer girls also went through changes in various shapes along with changes in sociocultural and philosophical backgrounds in each period. Thus, in this study, in examining girls' school uniforms, how girls' school uniforms have evolved with what kind of design characteristics was observed along with process of historical changes, and investigation was made on realistic conditions of girls school uniforms since 1996 when active advancements in school uniform design were started. Also, through examination of girls' school uniform designs from homepage of large student uniform companies and catalogues, characteristics of girls' school uniforms after 1996 were observed. On the result, we could know that girl's school uniforms from 1996 to 2006 were designed in various forms compared to those of the past time and changing Arends of the era were reflected on the school uniform designs. Narrow waistline, shorter blouse, changes in the length of jacket and skirt showed that current school uniform designs pursue the fashionable and trendy designs unlike those of the past times that were uniform and strict. This study include organizing characteristics of girls' school uniform designs by each period, providing fundamental and realistic data for clothes manufacturing and marketing activities through analysis on designs of girls' school uniforms since 1996, and providing directions for future school uniform designs.

발포 벽지 공정에서 이기종 PLC 그룹 관리를 위한 네트워크 운영과 해석 (Operation and Analysis of Network for Multivendor PLC Group Management in the Wall Paper Process)

  • 생산 공정에서 공동의 작업 범위 지역에 위치한 단위 제어 기기들에 대한 효율 적인 운영과 자원을 공유하기 위하여 네트워크 기술이 적용되어 운영되고 있다. 본 연구에 서는 발포 벽지 공정 관리의 효율화를 위하여 컴퓨터 통합 생산 방식의 표준을 기반으로 공정 라인의 이기종 PLC들의 그룹 관리를 위한 셀(cell) 시스템을 설계하고 시험운영 하였다. 본 연구에서 설계된 이기종 PLC 그룹 운영 해석은 PLC 래더 로직 프로그램에 서 데이타 패킷 크기와 노드 수의 변화로 파라미터를 선정하였으며, 이에 따른 시스템의 운영을 위한 토큰 로테이션 시간과 대기 시간의 대응된 변화값을 해석하였다. 이의 해석적 방법은 PLC 네트워크 연결의 인식 패킷의 서비스 시간, 전송 안정 여유의 오버 헤드를 고려한 M/G/1의 큐 모델로서 해석식을 유도하였으며, 셀 시스템과 PLC 그룹 관리에 적용하여 운영하였다. PLC의 스캔 타임(scan time)을 고려하여 10-20 msec 정도의 응답 하한선을 가지고 있으며 데이타 패킷의 크기는 50 바이트를 넘지 않고, 노드의 수가 40 이하이면 Jayasumana, Browaka 의 결과보다 확장되고 개선된 결과로서 네트워크가 안정되고 실시 간 처리가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

오목한 성능함수에서 공액경사도법을 이용한 단일루프 단일벡터 방법의 수렴성 개선 (Improvement of the Convergence Capability of a Single Loop Single Vector Approach Using Conjugate Gradient for a Concave Function)

  • 신뢰성 기반 최적설계의 효과적인 수행을 위하여 개발된 단일루프 단일벡터 방법은 신뢰성 해석의 계산과정을 제거함으로써 최적설계 시 발생하는 과도한 계산비용을 줄일 수 있다. 하지만 성능함수의 오목한 정도가 심할 경우, 수렴을 하지 못하고 발산하는 경향을 보인다. 때문에 일반적인 단일루프 단일벡터 방법은 낮은 수렴성과 부정확성 문제를 내포하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공액경사도법을 이용한 단일루프 단일벡터 방법을 제안한다. 공액경사도법은 이전 반복과정의 최대가능손상점에서 계산된 방향 벡터들을 이용하여 현재 설계점에서의 최대가능손상점을 산출하기 위한 새로운 방향벡터를 구하고 이 방향벡터를 이용하여 현재점에서의 최적화를 수행한다. 이를 다양한 수학예제에 적용하고 다른 방법들과 수치적 성능 비교를 통해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 검증한다. 공액경사도법을 이용한 단일루프 단일벡터 방법은 성능함수 특성에 크게 영향을 받지 않으며 수렴성을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다.
