무지외반증에 대한 Ludloff 절골술의 결과 (Results of Ludloff Osteotomy in Hallux Valgus)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the outcome of Ludloff osteotomy for treatment of hallux valgus with regard to patient satisfaction and clinical and radiological results. Materials and Methods: 43 feet of 28 patients underwent Ludloff osteotomy between January 2003 and August 2003. 21 patients (32 feet) who were available for follow up for more than one year were enrolled in this study. Average follow up period was 16 months. All patients were female and the average age was 51 years ranging 28 years to 72 years. Patient satisfaction was assessed and VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) was used for subjective outcome, AOFAS (American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society) score and presence of metatarsalgia were used for clinical outcome, and hallux valgus angle and intermetatarsal angle were used for radiological outcome assessment. Results: Patient satisfaction regarding cosmesis was excellent in 6 cases, good in 21 cases, fair in 4 cases and poor in 1 case. VAS was improved from preoperative 6 points to postoperative 2 points and AOFAS score was improved from preoperative 53 points to postoperative 82 points. Metatarsalgia was observed in 18 cases preoperatively and 9 cases postoperatively. HVA and IMA were 35.8 and 15.2 degrees preoperatively, 12.5 and 6.6 degrees at 3 months follow up, and 13.2 and 7.1 degrees at last follow up respectively. At the last follow up, loss of angle of correction for HVA was 0.7 degrees and for IMA was 0.5 degrees. Conclusion: Ludloff osteotomy is an appropriate surgery of moderate to severe hallux valgus.

성인 여성의 의복 폐기에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Women's Clothing Discard Behavior)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the reason, = of clothing discard and to investigate the influences of demographic and clothing variables on the clothing discard behavior Data were collected from 610 women who lived in Seoul and Kwangjoo. By means of factor analysis, 6 general factors of clothing discard reason.; were extracted The 6 factors were named as dissatisfaction with appropriateness, physically worn out, dissatisfaction with clothing quality, fashion change, boredom, inconvinience. Among the five clothing items (suits or one pieces, jackets, jumpers, shirts or blouses, skirts or pants), there existed differences in the reason factors of clothing discard The relationships between clothing discard behavior (reason factors of clothing discard, peviods of clothing utilization) and variables like user's age, degrees of satisfaction with clothing, clothing items were also examined. There existed significant differences among the age groups and the groups classified by clothing satisfaction degrees in the reason factors of clothing discard and in the Periods of clothing utilization. Periods of clothing utilization were also differed by the clothing items. As user's a age grew older, periods of clothing utilization increased and the rates of clothing discard because of dissatisfaction with appropriateness, and dissatisfaction with clothing quality, boredom, inconvinience factors were decreased. As the degrees of satisfaction with clothes increased, the periods of clothing utilization also increased and the rates of clothing discard because of dissatisfaction with appropriateness, and dissatisfaction with clothing quality, inconvinience factors decreased. And the rates of clothing discard because of physically worn out factor increased.

Relation of Compassionate Competence to Burnout, Job Stress, Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment for Oncology Nurses in Korea

  • Background: Nursing focuses on the development of an empathic relationship between the nurse and the patients. Compassionate competence, in particular, is a very important trait for oncology nurses. The current study sought to determine the degree of compassionate competence in oncology nurses, as well as to determine the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in oncology nurses. Materials and Methods: A descriptive correlational study evaluating the relationships between compassionate competence, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, degrees of job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in 419 oncology nurses was conducted between January 30 and February 20, 2015. Results: The average score of compassionate competence for oncology nurses in the current study was higher than for clinical nurses. Conclusions: The correlational analysis between compassionate competence and organizational commitment, burnout, job stress, turnover intention, and degree of job satisfaction revealed a high correlation between compassionate competence and positive job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conclusions: Compassionate competence was higher in oncology nurses than in nurses investigated in previous studies and positively correlated with work experience. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in nurses may be improved through compassionate competence enhancement programs that employ a variety of experiences.

  • This study focuses on what factors influence the job satisfaction of KNR. For solving this research question, three important factors affected job satisfaction are selected through literature review : harmonics communication, fairness of personnel management, satisfaction of human relations. This study tests that the cognitive degrees of above factors are defending on different personal characteristics, and also searches the relationship between job satisfaction and the three factors. This study makes the hypothesis based on a conceptual model elicited from the outline of the previous study. To verify the hypothesis, using SPSS WIN 7.5 package is practiced.

국내 건강정보 웹사이트의 신뢰성과 만족도 현황분석 (The Analyses of Confidence and Satisfaction for Domestic Health Information Web-Sites)

  • 국내에서 건강 소비자들을 대상으로 건강정보를 제공하는 웹사이트들 중 순위가 높은 18개 웹사이트를 선정하여 각 웹사이트의 건강정보 신뢰도와 만족도에 대한 현황을 분석하였다. 선택된 18개 사이트는 방문자의 수와 트래픽 정보 등을 이용하여 웹사이트의 순위를 평가하는 전문 기관의 순위 정보에 의해 선택되었다. 각 웹사이트에서 제공되는 건강 정보의 신뢰도와 만족도 현황을 파악하기 위하여 19가지의 평가 항목에 대한 충족 정도와 5가지 중요 요소의 유무에 대한 현황을 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 국내의 대표적인 건강정보 웹사이트들에 대한 신뢰성과 만족도 측면에서의 현황을 파악할 수 있었으며 평가 결과를 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

교통사고 환자 35예에 대한 한방의료 서비스 만족도 조사 (Survey of Satisfaction with Oriental Medical Care for Traffic Accident Patients ; 35 Cases Report)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to understand the satisfaction degree of patients due to traffic accident(TA) in order to provide basic data which would give help not only to improve the quality of services, but also to strengthen the competitiveness of oriental medical hospitals on sequela of TA patients. Methods : The data were collected from inpatients and outpatients who answered a self-report questionnaire. Independent t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA), $X^2$-test, correlation analysis were used for data analysis. Results : According to the research on medical satisfaction degree, the overall satisfaction degree was 4.141. On each field, satisfaction degree related to the doctor service recorded the highest degree among others(4.474). Satisfaction degree related to the appropriateness of service was the second(4.091). On the other hand, satisfaction degree of using procedure was the lowest degree(3.857). On the difference of degrees of satisfaction by general characteristics, patients who were unemployed houseworker group showed lower doctor service satisfaction degree than that of other groups. However, on the difference of degrees of satisfaction related to other general characteristics, there were no significant differences(p<0.05). Conclusions : The service distribution of oriental medical hospital was almost equal without concentrating on specified social classes.

전문대여성졸업생의 대학생활과 직장만족도의 관계 연구 (Women College Graduates and Job Satisfaction -Interacting Effects of Job Readiness-)

  • 본 연구는 교육고용패널자료를 활용하여 여성전문대생의 대학생활과 구직활동이 이들의 직장생활에 기여하는 지 검증해 보았다. 여성전문대생의 대학생활에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 직장에 대한 만족도가 높아졌다. 여성전문대생들이 취업 및 창업과 관련된 교육훈련을 이수하게 된다면 직장과 업무에 대한 만족도는 높아지고 있다. 취업준비활동은 또한 여성전문대생의 대학생활만족도 및 대학성적과 유의미하게 상호작용하여 이들의 직장만족도에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 대학생활만족도가 높은 전문대학여학생들이 영어교육을 이수하면 괜찮은 일자리에 취직하여 직장에 대한 만족도가 높아진다. 전문대학여학생들의 대학성적이 우수하면서 취업 및 창업과 관련된 교육과정을 이수하면 취업 후 기술/교육수준을 고려한 직장만족도가 높아지게 된다. 전문대학교의 현장 중심의 실무교육이 구직활동과 병행되어야 전문대여학생들이 양질의 일자리에 취직되어 높은 직장만족도를 느낄 수 있다. 현 연구는 전문대학여학생의 대학생활에 대한 만족도와 취업준비활동은 이들이 졸업 후 직장생활을 하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다고 입증하였다. 앞으로 한국사회는 전문대학의 교육과정이 현장중심의 실무형으로 구성되어 구직자의 능력을 향상시켜 취직에 도움이 될 수 있도록 보다 많은 노력을 기울어야겠다.

  • There are several kinds of fuzzy set extensions in the fuzzy set theory. Among them, this paper is concerned with interval-valued fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, and bipolar-valued fuzzy sets. In interval-valued fuzzy sets, membership degrees are represented by an interval value that reflects the uncertainty in assigning membership degrees. In intuitionistic fuzzy sets, membership degrees are described with a pair of a membership degree and a nonmembership degree. In bipolar-valued fuzzy sets, membership degrees are specified by the satisfaction degrees to a constraint and its counter-constraint. This paper investigates the similarities and differences among these fuzzy set representations.

원위부 Chevron 절골술 및 BOLD 나사$^{(R)}$ 고정술을 이용한 무지 외반증의 치험 (Distal Chevron Osteotomy with One BOLD $Screw^{(R)}$ Fixation in Hallux Valgus)

  • Purpose: To present our experience of distal chevron osteotomy utilizing one BOLD $screw^{(R)}$ as an alternative fixation method which has advantages over the Kirschner (K)-wire fixation. Materials and Methods: Between January 2001 and June 2003, 19 patients with a symptomatic hallux valgus deformity underwent 20 distal metatarsal chevron osteotomies with one BOLD $screw^{(R)}$ fixation. The mean age was 55.6 years with a minimum follow up period 12 months. For radiographical evaluation, hallux valgus angle (HVA) and intermetatarsal angle (IMA) were used. For clinical evaluation, we used AOFAS hallux metatarsophalangeal interphalangeal scale and overall satisfaction of the patients. Results: The AOFAS scores improved from mean 47.5 points to mean 68.1 points at postoperative 3 months and mean 86.0 points at last follow-up. The average HVA corrected from 25.3 degrees to 12.7 degrees. The IMA was corrected from 11.6 degrees to 7.6 degrees. The overall satisfaction of the patients was 85%. There was no major complication. Conclusion: We demonstrated that distal chevron osteotomy with one BOLD $screw^{(R)}$ fixation has advantages such as no additional procedure, no loss of correction, early rehabilitation, no prominent hardware and skin irritation. This method also showed excellent bone union, correction and patient satisfaction.
