Self-determination Degree Difference Analysis According to the Subject Selection Criteria of General High School Students

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference in the degree of self-determination between the criteria that general high school students consider important when selecting subjects (hereinafter referred to as 'importance') and the criteria that are actually applied when selecting subjects (hereinafter referred to as 'implementation'), based on the existing motivation type discrimination scale and subject selection criteria scale. As a result of analysis based on the data of a total of 786 high school students, the degree of self-determination was found to be different for all 34 questions and 8 factors in importance and implementation. In general, the questions and factors showed a simple structure with the motivation types and showed the lowest correlation with the motivations at both ends of the self-determination continuum. Among the factors that students consider important when selecting subjects and the factors that are actually applied, the 'SAT' factor showed the highest positive correlation with identification control. In addition, it was found that autonomous subject selection was more preferred than subject selection based on extrinsic motivation. These results are not only meaningful as the first study to analyze the degree of self-determination in the subject selection of high school students, but also can be used as useful data for customized subject selection guidance according to the degree of self-determination. The implications of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.

  • Professional self-determination of the individual is a complex and lengthy process of finding and realizing yourself in the profession. The main goal of professional self-determination is clarified. The basic concepts of readiness for professional self-determination of future specialists in the modern information society are revealed. The following approaches to the consideration of the concept of readiness are defined: functional-psychological, personal, activity-based. Based on the components of readiness identified by the researchers, it can be assumed that the structure of professional self-determination of the future specialist contains motivational, cognitive and activity components. Self-determination is defined as a multidimensional process that can be considered from different points of view: as a series of tasks, that society sets for the emerging individual, and which the individual must solve in a certain period. As a process of step-by-step decision-making, with the help of which the individual forms a balance between his desires and inclinations, on the one hand, and the needs of society, on the other; as a process of forming an individual lifestyle, part of which is professional activity. A number of tasks of professional self-determination of a future specialist in the information society are formulated. Diagnostic practices for determining the degree of readiness of future specialists for future professional success are characterized. Practices are developed as a basis for creating an individually oriented correctional and development program to promote the formation of future specialists' focus on future professional success. Their task is to ensure control over the dynamics of this process, assess the effectiveness of this career guidance work. Practices are aimed at identifying the degree of thorough knowledge of the conditions for achieving professional success in the chosen field of activity among future specialists.

농산업 예비창업자의 창업의도에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구: 자기결정성 정도의 조절효과 중심으로 (A Study on Factors Affecting Entrepreneurial Intention of Pre-entrepreneurs in Agricultural Industry: Focusing on Moderating Effect of Degree of Self-determination)

  • 본 연구는 농산업 예비창업자를 대상으로 자기결정성정도를 조절변수로 하여 창업환경과 창업역량이 창업의도에 미치는 영향을 탐색하였다. 창업환경은 인지된지원과 인지된장벽으로 창업역량은 여러 가지 변인 중에서 농산업의 특성을 고려하여 창의성, 문제해결, 의사소통, 마케팅, 사업계획서로 설정하였다. 농산업분야 예비창업자를 대상으로 수집된 설문지 253부를 SPSS v25.0과 Process macro v4.2를 이용하여 실증분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과는 첫째, 창업환경의 인지된지원과 인지된장벽은 창업의도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고 창업역량의 창의성, 문제해결, 마케팅 및 사업계획서가 창업의도에 유의적인 영향을 미쳤으나 의사소통이 미치는 영향은 비유의적으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기결정성정도는 창업환경의 인지된지원 및 인지된장벽과 농산업 창업의도 간을 조절하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 자기결정의 수준은 창업환경과 창업의도 사이에 영향을 미치지 않음을 의미한다. 셋째, 자기결정성정도는 창업역량의 창의성, 문제해결, 의사소통, 마케팅 및 사업계획서와 창업의도 간을 조절하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 자기결정성정도가 커질수록, 창의성, 문제해결, 마케팅 및 사업계획서가 창업의도에 미치는 영향력의 크기가 정(+)의 방향으로 강해지게 하는 강화작용의 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 자기결정성정도가 커질수록 의사소통과 창업의도 간의 관계가 약해지는 완화 작용이 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 향후에는 창업환경과 창업역량을 설명할 수 있는 다른 요인들의 탐색과 새로운 매개변수와 조절변수가 포함된 조건부과정모형을 통해 조절된 매개효과를 분석할 수 있는 후속 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

사회경제적 지위, 어머니의 학습관여 및 양육행동과 아동의 자기결정동기 간의 관계 (The Relationship between Socioeconomic Status, Maternal Involvement in Learning, Parenting Behavior and Children's Self-Determination Motivation)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between socioeconomic status, maternal involvement in learning, parenting behavior and children's self-determination motivation. The participants of this study consisted of 333 fifth- and sixth-grade elementary school children and their mothers living in Seoul. The results of this study indicated that mothers with a higher educational attainment reported greater autonomy support behavior and involvement in their offspring's learning. Conversely, mothers with low incomes were found to use psychological control and were also found to be involved in learning to a lesser degree. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that children whose mothers were less involved in learning showed higher levels of self-determination motivation. Additionally, maternal support for autonomy and psychological control had a number of moderating effects on the association between maternal involvement in learning and the child's self-determination motivation. Specifically, children tended to exhibit significantly lower levels of self-determination motivation when mothers were more involved in learning among those who received less support in terms of autonomy. Conversely, children had significantly higher levels of self-determination motivation when mothers were less involved in learning when it came to those children who were under less psychological control.

유아의 행동억제가 자기결정성에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 양육불안과 자율성 지지의 순차매개효과 (Effects of Behavioral Inhibition in Young Children on Self-Determination: Sequential Mediating Effects of Mother's Parenting Anxiety and Autonomy Support)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of young children's behavioral inhibition on self-determination, examining the sequential mediating effects of mothers' parenting anxiety and autonomy support. Methods: Participants in this study were 225 mothers with children aged 6 years. An online survey was conducted, and SPSS Statistics 23.0 was used for basic analysis. The research model used the Process Macro 4.0 program. Results: The higher the level of behavioral inhibition, the lower the child's self-determination. Furthermore, a mediating effect was confirmed when parenting anxiety was added. However, in the single mediation model and the sequential mediation model in which autonomy support was added, the direct effects of behavioral inhibition temperament and parenting anxiety on self-determination disappeared. As a result, behavioral inhibition characteristics were found to have an indirect effect on self-determination through the sequential mediating effects of mother's parenting anxiety and autonomy support. Conclusion/Implications: If a mother with a child with a behaviorally inhibited temperament properly handles the negative emotions experienced during parenting based on her understanding of the child and supports the child to have a high degree of autonomy, she can enhance the child's right to self-determination.

발달장애인의 자기결정권에 대한 사회복지사의 인식 및 실천에 관한 연구: 중요도-실행도분석(IPA)의 적용 (A Study on Social Worker's Perception and Practice of the Right to Self-determination for Person with Developmental Disability: Application of Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA))

  • 본 연구는 다른 장애유형에 비해 권리보장 취약성이 높은 발달장애인에 대해 다른 권리유형에 비해 상대적으로 권리침해 가능성이 높은 자기결정권에 초점을 맞추어 이의 학문적 논의토대와 실제적 실천전략의 시사점을 얻고자 사회복지사를 대상으로 한 인식 및 실천의 실증분석을 시행하였다. 이를 위해 서울·경기 및 강원지역 사회복지사 302명을 대상으로 발달장애인의 자기결정 구성요소에 대한 중요도 및 실행도 인식을 구조화된 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하고, 중요도 및 실행도의 기술적 분석, 차이분석, 매트릭스 분석을 적용하였다. 분석결과, 중요도와 실행도는 긍정적 수준보다 낮은 절대적 수준으로 평가되고, 전체 평균기준 실행도는 상대적으로 보다 늦게 적용되는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘 간의 수준차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 중요도와 실행도 간 불균형적 사항인 과소 실천요소로서 목표설정 및 성취, 자기관리 및 조절, 가지인식 및 지각 등이 확인되었다. 이에 인권보장의 상호성을 감안한 사회복지사와 발달장애인의 균형적 긍정성 향상을 위해 사람중심프로그램과 자기결정향상프로그램의 적용이라는 큰 기반 위에 응용행동분석, 긍정적 행동지원, 목표성취척도의 적용 하 개별화서비스계확 등 세부전략에 대해 제언하였다.

지적장애인의 거주시설 유형별 자기결정 경험 연구 (Differences on Self-determination Experiences of the Intellectually Disabled People according to Livings in the Different Types of Residential Homes)

  • 본 연구는 자기결정경험을 중심으로 지적장애인 거주시설 유형별 차이를 비교하기 위해 생활시설, 그룹홈, 자립홈 3개 유형의 거주시설에서 생활하고 있는 9인의 지적장애인이 경험한 17개의 시설거주 경험을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 시설유형별로 자기결정 경험이 다른 것으로 나타났는데, 자립홈, 그룹홈, 생활시설 순으로 자기결정이 보장되는 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 탈 시설 요구를 적극 수용하고 자기결정 정도를 높이는 방향으로 거주시설 정책 개혁이 필요하며, 서비스 평가 시 이용자의 주관적 경험을 반영할 필요가 있음을 제기하였다. 지적장애인에 대한 연구와 관련해서는 대화분석이 유용하게 활용될 수 있으며, 이를 통해 지적장애인의 주관적 경험과 인식을 풍부하게 드러내는 연구들이 필요하다는 점을 확인하였다.

An Exploration of Players' Aggression: Role of Game and Life Self-Efficacy and Adaptive Game Use Tendency

  • This study examined whether game usage would alleviate players' aggressive tendencies. Other game-related variables, psychological care factors (adaptive game use tendency, game self-efficacy, and life self-efficacy), and psychological problem factors (loneliness and depression) were controlled for determination of the effect. We drew on the catharsis theory from therapeutic psychology literature to explain how game usage contributes to the alleviation of aggressive tendencies. Over two weeks data were collected from 918 participants online. The results indicated that gaming activity had a significant effect on aggression. Higher levels of game and life self-efficacy, as well as adaptive game use tendencies, decreased the degree of aggression. Likewise, higher levels of loneliness and depression reduced the degree of aggression. Results and implications are discussed.

간호대학생의 자기결정성동기, 대인관계조화가 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-determination Motivation and Interpersonal Harmony on the Academic Self-efficacy of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19 시기에 간호학과에 입학한 신입생의 자기결정성동기, 대인관계조화와 학업적 자기효능감의 정도를 확인하고 학업적 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 자료 수집은 2021년도 11월 01일부터 11월 30일까지이며, 연구대상자는 C 시에 소재한 대학교의 간호학과에 재학중인 신입생 220명이다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 25.0을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA 및 Scheffé 사후검정, Pearson correlation coefficients 산출 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 1학기에 대면수업 경험, 전공선택이유, 자기결정성동기와 대인관계조화가 학업적 자기효능감 총변동의 47.9%를 설명하고 있었다, 그리고 11학기 1개 교과목 이상 대면 수업, 자기결정성동기와 대인관계조화가 학업적 자기효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간호학과 신입생의 학업적 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위하여 자기결정성동기를 지지하고 대인관계를 조화롭게 형성하기 위한 프로그램이 개발되고 적용되어야 할 것이다.

다물체계 해석 방법을 이용한 동력전달계의 특성 해석 (Analysis on the Dynamic Characteristics of Power Transmission System Using Multi-body Dynamics)

  • This paper presents the main method to analyze the dynamic characteristics of power transmission system using the multi-body dynamics, which is based on the concept of subsystem equation, subsystem assembling, and the self-determination technique for the system degree of freedom. We can model the mechanical components of power transmission system easily with the advantage of multi-body dynamics. Based on the theory, a dynamic simulation program was developed to analyze system performances, transient phenomena, and other dynamic problems. The driving performance of automatic transmission was simulated with using the multi-body dynamics and Newtonian method, and the validity of program was proved by comparing the two kinds of result.
