소비자의 라이프스타일에 따른 서비스품질 지각 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Consumer's Service Quality Perception Based on the Types of Life-style)

  • For the last decades, service quality has been studied as one of the most important tools for a service company to compete with the other companies. Based on these past researches, it has been agreed that the service quality is a basic and powerful tool to create the competitive advantage. Due to similar reason, many service marketing practitioners have been also focused on the service quality to retain the existing consumers and collect the new consumers. However, service quality is subjectively perceived by individual consumers. Consumer evaluation of service quality can be different from each other. Especially consumers with one life-style may evaluate the service quality differently from the consumers with the other life-styles. Therefore we need to know whether there are differences in service quality perception on the categories of life-style. Life-style refers to a distinctive mode of living in its aggregate and broadest sense. It embodies the patterns that were developed and emerged from the dynamics of living in a society. Since the concept of life-style and its relationship to marketing was introduced in 1963 by William Lazer, methods of measuring the life-style and their application have been developed. Life-style has been usually used to segment the marketplace because it offers marketers a unique and important view of the market. When Life-style is combined with clustering methods, life-style segmentation can generate identifiable whole persons rather than isolated fragment. Life-style segmentation begins with people instead of products and classifies them into different life-style types, each characterized by a unique style of living based on a wide range of activities, interests, and opinions(Plummer, 1974). In this study we applies the life-style segmentation based on the AIO(Activities, Interests, and Opinions) to the consumers of the large discount stores. In Korea, the large discount store market has entered into maturity stage so that the market differentiation strategy is becoming a more critical issue to the marketing practitioners. One of the most important tools to differentiate from the competitors in large discount store market is continuously to provide service of better quality than competitors. This study tries to find answers about the following questions: 1) How can we categorize the consumer life-styles in the large discount store? 2) What are the characteristics of the categorized groups? 3) Are there any differences in service quality perception among the consumers with different life-styles 4) Are there any differences in consumer behavior among them in the large discount store? For the purpose, we collected survey data from consumers and analyzed the data with the SPSS package where we had $X^2$-test, factor analysis, ANOVA, MANOVA, and cluster analysis. The survey was made during one month in the April of 2008. Among the collected 306 copies of questionnaires, 281 copies were chosen as the effective samples for empirical analysis except 25 copies with wrong responses. To identify the life-style patterns, we used the measures employed by Kim and Kwon(1999), where 44 items on a seven-point scale were used to measure factors of the life-style patterns. The Principal Component Method was used for factor extraction, and the VARIMAX orthogonal factor rotation was employed. The 7 items showing low factor loading were eliminated. The results of the factor analysis suggested that nine factors of the life-style patterns were identified as follows: 1) the equality-of-sexes and pursuit-of-independence tendency 2) self-management tendency 3) sociable tendency 4) self-display tendency 5) degree of a dilettante life 6) pursuit-of-information tendency 7) bargain hunter tendency 8) TV preference tendency 9) pursuit-of-leisure tendency. Next, after the K-means cluster analysis was performed with nine factors of the life-style patterns, the life-styles of the respondents were classified into four groups which are named as the 'progressive practicality-oriented group', 'positive success-oriented group', 'sociable ostentation-oriented group', 'stable conservation-oriented group'. The analysis results for usage behavior between the market segments showed statistically significant differences in the frequency of usage, duration time in the store, consumer satisfaction, and loyalty. Also, we tried to investigate whether the large discount store consumers differently perceive the quality of service based upon the types of life-style. To measure the service quality of large discount store, we adapted several measurement models measuring the service quality such as SERVPERF, BCP, R-SERVPERF, R-BCP. MANOVA and One-Way ANOVA were performed to confirm the difference in service quality perception based on the market segments. The results have also shown significant differences between life-style types in service quality perception. These findings show that the large discount store marketers should consider consumer life-style as one of the most important market segments for marketing and understand the difference in service quality perception between life-style types. Our findings give important implications to marketers of large discount stores as well as life-style researchers. First, this study showed there were significant differences in consumer's service quality perception and usage behavior between the types of life-style. It provides evidence that the life-style approach can be a important basis in segmenting the large discount store market and will make consumers perceive the service quality high. Second, most previous researches on service quality have been in aggregate level. However, our results imply that the future research on service quality have to focus on segment level.

주생활 공동체 의식에 따른 코하우징 선호도 (Preference of Cohousing according to Sense of Community in Housing Life)

  • Purpose of this study is to investigate influence on preference of cohousing (eg. intention to spread and intention to move in cohousing) according to sense of community, especially in housing life by married people residing in Seoul and its outskirts. Research method used for this study was a social survey. Respondents were 214 people by accidential sampling. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program using frequency, mean, average, T-test, one-way Anova, Duncan's Multiple Range test and Chi-square test. Findings of this study were as follows. Most respondents took part in interactive activities with colleagues from the same occupation. They Focused on the issues about health, leisure and hobby. The respondents mainly wanted to have interaction for changing recycling materials and education programs for children and juveniles. Degree of ideal relationships with neighbors, they think, were greeting and chatting as well as communication about issues on child-care, education for children, offense-prevention and safety. Although respondents were interested in community life and in interaction with their neighbors, they did not build up communal society due to lack of a sense of belonging in their living areas. While respondents showed positive response about preference of cohousing, there were difference between intention to spread of cohousing and intention to move in cohousing. As a result of this study, the stronger sense of community in housing life meant the more interests in thoughts to spread and to move in cohousing. Therefore, in order to increase sense of community in cohousing, the plan of various communication programs that enables frequent interaction among neighbors is needed. Also, in order to spread cohousing in Korea, promotion of cohousing community and cognitions about it are the most needed.

Analytical and experimental exploration of sobol sequence based DoE for response estimation through hybrid simulation and polynomial chaos expansion

  • Hybrid simulation (HS) has attracted community attention in recent years as an efficient and effective experimental technique for structural performance evaluation in size-limited laboratories. Traditional hybrid simulations usually take deterministic properties for their numerical substructures therefore could not account for inherent uncertainties within the engineering structures to provide probabilistic performance assessment. Reliable structural performance evaluation, therefore, calls for stochastic hybrid simulation (SHS) to explicitly account for substructure uncertainties. The experimental design of SHS is explored in this study to account for uncertainties within analytical substructures. Both computational simulation and laboratory experiments are conducted to evaluate the pseudo-random Sobol sequence for the experimental design of SHS. Meta-modeling through polynomial chaos expansion (PCE) is established from a computational simulation of a nonlinear single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) structure to evaluate the influence of nonlinear behavior and ground motions uncertainties. A series of hybrid simulations are further conducted in the laboratory to validate the findings from computational analysis. It is shown that the Sobol sequence provides a good starting point for the experimental design of stochastic hybrid simulation. However, nonlinear structural behavior involving stiffness and strength degradation could significantly increase the number of hybrid simulations to acquire accurate statistical estimation for the structural response of interests. Compared with the statistical moments calculated directly from hybrid simulations in the laboratory, the meta-model through PCE gives more accurate estimation, therefore, providing a more effective way for uncertainty quantification.

중학교 가정과 ‘인간발달과 가족관계’영역에서 Gordon의 창의적 문제해결법의 적용 (The Application of Gordon’s Creative Problem Solving Method(Synectics)to the Area of Human Development and Family Relations among Male Students in A junior High School)

  • The purpose of this research was to apply and conduct a class with Gordon’s Creative Problem Solving Method(Synectics) to the area of ’human development and family relations’among male students in a jr. high school. Subject matters which were appropriate for applying Gordon’s Creative Problem Solving method were selected from ’human development and family relations’area, with problem circumstances set to reflect to the highest degree the interests of individuals and families. An 8 hour teaching instructional guide was constructed with $\boxdr$strategy 1$\boxul$of Gordon’s Creative Problem Solving method in order to solve creatively the established problem. This was practically implied to 70 students(each class had 34 and 36 students respectively) in K middle school located in Seoul. The period of this application was for 3 months during March through May of 1999. The perception of this method was examined by the teachers and students through open-ended questions. The record of perception showed that 56 students out of 70(with no response from 5 students) through that the class done by the creativity problem solving method was good. The majority of reasons mentioned for the positive answers were ’being able to receive different thoughts which were unusual of daily life’. In addition the students who participated in the class were able to foster a joint experience which improved their understanding of relationships and sens of community. moreover students who did not do well n the class or were diffident were encouraged to participate which in result showed that there was even an internal effect.

산업장 건강증진 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구 -건강행위의 변화의도 예측요인 및 대상의 유형 분류를 중심으로- (Planning Health Promotion Program in Workplace)

  • In recent years, interests in health promotion have been stimulated by the epidemiological transition from infectious to chronic diseases as lead ing causes of death, the aging of the population, rapidly escalating health care costs, and epidemiologic findings linking individual risk to morbidity and mortality. It is not surprising that the workplace has been targeted as a promising setting for health promotion. In Korea, national attention to the opportunities for workplace health promotion began in the first 1990s. But there is no in depth study to identify the relating factors to the health promotion program in the workplace. The objective of this study is behavioral and physical characteristics to find that in crease the person's risk for a range of health problems and to analysis other characteristics to influence the degree of his/her intention to change health behavior. In addition, this study is purposed to present the process of planning health promotion program in the workplace. To accomplish these objectives, one workplaces was selected. And 363 employees in those workplaces were served as subjects for the study. Major findings in this study are as follows. (1) They have many risk factors such as smoking, drinking, lack of sleep, law rate of regular exercise, irregular eating, stress. (2) Some of the health risk factors such as smoking, drinking, and stress have the negative correlation to the intention to change. (3) Among cognitive and socio-environmental factors, significant predictors to the intention are attitude and social support. (4) In the cluster analysis to segment the target population in to homogeneous unit, three clusters of lifestyle are specified. (5) Smoking cessation and exercise program are planned for the risk group to change their behavior.

환자평가표에 의한 요양병원 입원 노인들의 일상생활사 의사결정 인식기술 상태와 일상생활수행능력 간의 관계 (Relationship between the State of Decision Making Recognition Technology for Daily Living and Activities of Daily Living(ADL) of Inpatients in Geriatric Hospital on the Patient Core Card)

  • 본 연구는 2013년 12월 현재 요양병원에 입원생활 중인 노인들 중 환자평가표의 평가구분에서 계속입원중인 환자 평가를 받은 3개월 이상 입원중인 노인들을 대상으로 실질적으로 부양 및 요양간병 시 집중적으로 관심을 가져야 하는 일상생활활동이 무엇인지를 파악해 보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 일상생활사에 관한 의사결정을 할 수 있는 인식기술 상태와 일상생활활동수행능력들 간의 인과관계를 로지스틱 함수를 이용하여 추정한 결과, 일상생활사 의사결정 인식기술 상태가 심하게 손상된 경우에는 노인들에게 실질적으로 부양 및 요양간병 시 '식사하기' 활동과 '옮겨 앉기' 활동에 집중적으로 관심을 가져야 한다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 '식사하기' 활동과 '옮겨 앉기' 활동 외의 활동들은 일상생활사에 관한 의사결정을 할 수 있는 인식기술 상태보다는 노화나 질병으로 인한 신체적 기능이 떨어져서 나타난 결과로 유추해 볼 필요성이 있을 것이다. 따라서 이 경우에는 부양이나 요양간병 시 도움을 받는 노인들의 인격이나 수치심 등 자존감을 고려하여 수발자들은 행동과 언어에 각별히 신경을 써야 할 것이다.

  • 학위논문은 석박사 과정의 학생들이 학위를 취득할 목적으로 자신의 전공분야와 특정 관점에서 조사 연구한 결과를 제출한 독창성이 높은 연구자료를 말한다. 그러나 학위논문은 상업출판사에서 발간하지 않기 때문에 대다수 도서관도 책자형태로 확보할 수 없다. 이에 따른 실물의 즉시적 이용가능성 및 내용정보의 부재현상은 모든 국가에서 학위논문의 활용도가 극히 낮을 수밖에 없는 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 이러한 상황에 주목하여 본 연구는 학위논문의 국제적 유통현황을 개관하고 국내의 관리시스템을 조사 분석하였다. 그리고 본 연구의 결과는 후속의 최종과제인 국내 학위논문의 표준관리모형을 개발하는데 활용될 것이다.

한국 영화산업의 집중성과 불균형의 맥락들 (The context of concentration and polarization of Korean film industry)

  • 본 연구는 한국 영화산업의 수직계열화 구조와 배급 및 상영시장의 집중도를 파악하고, 이 두 범주 간의 상호연관성에 대한 통합적인 맥락을 제시하고자 하였다. 한국영화 배급 및 상영시장의 집중성은 규모의 경제를 추구하고 수요의 불확실성을 방어하기 위한 산업 논리의 결과이다. 메이저 배급사는 대작영화에 자원을 집중하고 공급량을 조절함으로써 흥행위험을 방어하려는 경향이 강해지고 있으며, 최대한 많은 스크린을 확보하려는 배급 경쟁에 의해 멀티플렉스 체인의 협상력은 강화되고 있다. 수직결합 기업의 멀티플렉스는 계열관계에 따라 각 배급사의 영화에 차별적인 좌석수를 배정하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 수직계열화 기업마다 차별의 정도는 차이가 있으며, 상영 스크린수가 증가할수록 관객의 좌석점유율도 증가하고 있어서, 상영관이 계열관계에 따라 비합리적인 선택을 한다고 보기에는 무리가 있다. 따라서 수직결합구조가 스크린 독과점과 양극화의 원인이라는 일반화하기는 어려우며 유통시장의 집중성을 완화하고 중소영화를 지원하는 정책 방향이 요구된다.

4차 산업혁명시대의 장애인복지기관에 대한 종사자와 이용자간 인식 (Difference between Employees and Users of Welfare Institutions for the Disabled in Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • 본 연구는 장애인복지관과 장애인자립생활센터(IL센터) 종사자 및 이용자가 갖는 4차 산업혁명시대의 기관에 대한 인식차이를 파악하여 기관의 정체성 확립을 위한 정보제공에 목적을 둔다. 부산광역시와 경상남도의 장애인복지기관 8개소 장애인 이용 당사자 178명과 종사자 173명을 대상으로 4차 산업혁명에 대한 관심도, 기관의 미래 준비수준, 장애인복지기관의 변화예측 등 관련된 자체 제작 설문지를 통해 인식 차이를 분석하였다. 그 결과 종사자가 4차 산업혁명에 대한 관심은 더욱 높았으나 장애인복지기관의 준비수준에 대한 인식에서는 이용자에 비해 종사자이 인식하는 기관의 미래 준비수준은 낮다고 평하였다. 4차 산업혁명으로 인한 장애인복지기관의 미래변화 예측에 대해서는 이용자에 비해 종사자가 더 긍정적 변화를 예측했고 종사자가 이용자 보다 더 높은 기대를 갖고 있었으나 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 이런 결과에 대한 논의와 제언을 제시하였으며 이는 장애인복지기관의 미래대응전략을 위한 정보제공을 하여 향후 한국장애인복지계의 발전을 도모하고 한국장애인복지정책 방향설정에 기여할 수 있는 자료가 될 것이라 여긴다.

치료기회상실로 인한 손해배상에 있어서 피침해법익 (Legal Interest in Damages Regarding Loss of Treatment Chance)

  • 의료과오에 의한 손해배상책임의 인정은 크게 두 가지 축을 기본으로 하여 전개되어 왔다. 첫째는 의사의 과실 있는 진료행위가 있고 이로 인하여 생명·신체 등의 법익이 침해당하고, 생명·신체 침해로부터 발생한 재산적·비재산적 손해에 대한 배상이 문제되는 경우이다. 둘째는 의사의 설명의무 위반이 있고 이로 인하여 자기결정권이 침해당하고, 자기결정권 침해로부터 발생한 비재산적 손해에 대한 배상이 문제되는 경우이다. 그러나 의료과오가 있더라도 환자의 기존상태 등으로 말미암아 의사의 과실 있는 진료행위와 법익침해 사이에 인과관계 증명이 곤란하여 의사의 손해배상책임이 부정되는 경우가 있다. 예를 들어, 환자가 이미 심한 말기암에 걸려있어서 의사로부터 적절한 치료를 받았더라도 완치되었을 가능성이 매우 낮은 경우를 생각해 보자. 이 때 의사의 과실이 없더라도 환자는 사망하였을 가능성이 매우 크다는 이유로 환자에게 어떠한 손해배상도 인정하지 않는 것은 타당하지 않다. 의사의 과실 있는 진료행위로 인하여 환자에게는 최소한 정신적 고통과 같은 비재산적 손해가 발생하였기 때문이다. 위와 같은 경우에 우리 법원은 예외적으로 적절한 치료를 받을 기회를 상실했음을 이유로 하여 위자료 배상을 인정해주고 있다. 그러나 이론적 체계가 정교하지 못하여 어떤 것을 보호법익으로 삼는지 명확하게 밝히지 못하고 있다. 의사의 과실 있는 진료행위와 생명·신체라는 법익의 침해 사이에 인과관계가 부정되더라도 새로운 보호법익을 설정하여 환자에게 발생한 손해를 배상해주려는 최근의 논의가 바로 '치료기회상실의 법리'이다. 이 보호법익의 내용이 무엇인지에 관하여 치유가능성론, 기대권침해론, 연명할 상당한 정도의 가능성 침해론, 치료기회상실론 등이 주장되고 있다. 이 보호법익의 내용은 치료기회상실론에 따라 '의료수준에 비추어 적절한 치료를 받을 이익'으로 보는 것이 타당하다. 환자의 위와 같은 이익은 어느 누구로부터 침해받거나 방해받아서는 안 되는 인간의 존엄한 가치임과 동시에, 생명에 관한 근원적인 욕구이며 법적으로 보호받아야 할 가치 있는 이익이라고 할 수 있다. 이런 측면에서 '의료수준에 적절한 치료를 받을 이익'은 정신적 법익에 관한 일반적 인격권의 하나로써 구체화될 수 있다.
