  • Faults of cellulosic insulations greatly affect the life span of oil immersed transformers because their performance recovery is impossible. Therefore, the reliable diagnosis technologies are needed for detection of the faults. Dissolved gas analysis technologies using CO and $CO_2$ gases have been widely used for fault diagnosis of cellulosic insulations. In this research, we described Degradation diagnosis of insulation paper CO and $CO_2$ gases in oil immersed Transformers using. We considered the distribution characteristics of CO, $CO_2$ gases' concentrations and ratios of $CO_2$/CO not only in serviced transformers but in experiments with typical fault causes such as heat, partial discharge and moisture. As result, the reliability of diagnosis results for the cellulosic insulations can be improved when the concentrations of CO, $CO_2$ and the ratio of CO/$CO_2$ satisfy each diagnosis criterion at a tim

  • Because Insulation material is play an important part for normal work of electricity equipment, the study is advanced, but as the voltage of electricity system is raising, we required that new lnsulation material. They have excellent specific against high stress, namely the study of insulation increase and prevention diagnosis of insulation degradation of Epoxy or XLPE and so on. In this thesis. I utilize image processing technique for effective inspection of insulation material degradation.

  • 원자력발전소에는 여러 종류의 케이블이 전력공급, 감시 및 제어신호의 전달을 위해 열악한 환경하에서 이용되고 있다. 발전소의 안전한 운전을 위해서 이 케이블이 어느 정도 열화 되었는지 확인할 필요가 있다. 특히, 원자력발전소의 수명 연장과 더불어 저압 케이블을 장기간 사용함에 따라서 저압케이블의 열화를 평가하기 위한 방법이 필요하게 되었다 저압케이블의 열화를 측정하는 파라미터로는 주변 온도, 절연재질의 경도, 파단시 연신률(EAB, Elongation At Breaking Point) 등이 있다. 그러나, 온도나 경도를 계측하는 검사는 정량적인 판단기준의 설정이 곤란하고 진단의 정밀도가 낮으며, 부분적으로 샘플링하는 방법은 샘플링되는 케이블에 연결된 부하를 정전시켜야 하고 장소와 시간적인 제약이 있으며, 전기적 측정법은 노화 초기부터 중기까지의 열화정도를 확인하기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 재료의 열화에 따라서 초음파의 음속이 변화한다는 이론적인 배경(1,2)을 바탕으로 저압 케이블 재료의 열화에 따른 초음파의 음속을 측정하였다. 이를 위해, 원자력발전소에서 사용되는 저압케이블을 가속 열화시켰으며, 저압케이블의 피복재에서 초음파의 음속을 측정할 수 있는 장비를 개발하여, 초음파의 음속측정 후 인장시험을 통해 파단시 연신률을 측정하였다. 파단시 연신률이 증가함에 따라서 음속이 선형적으로 감소하였으며, 초음파의 음속은 열화의 정량적 평가 파라미터로서의 사용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • To minimize the financial loss due to power facility malfunction, on-line diagnostic techniques are required to grasp any abnormal state of facilities in the live line as well as devices to diagnose abnormal states of power facility in an easy and prompt manner. This study aims to develop a portable UV detecting system by means of UV sensors for easier and efficient inspection of the degradation state of power facility in a long distance. Accordingly, it includes a simulation of corona discharges that may occur due to degradation of power facility and detection of ultraviolet pulse generation depending on the corona discharge intensity and measuring distance in application of UV sensors. Additionally, the optimal algorithm is determined for its application to the system's degradation diagnosis program based on the measured experiment data.

  • The conventional tracking testing as IEC-60587 is widely used in surface aging measurement of outdoor insulator because those testing can carry out very short time in Lab-testing. Also IEC-60587 testing is able to offer the standard judgement of relative degradation level of outdoor HV machine/system. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous conventional tracking testing method and effective Lab-testing method. But surface discharges(SD) have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern so it is required estimation research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of IRR-camera is carrying out discover of temperature of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis. In this study, SD occurred from procelain insulator, used 22.9[KV] distribution, is measured with partial temperature distribution in real time, the degradation grade of SD is analyzed through produced patterns in SD concentration according to applied time.

  • Degradation diagnosis of XLPE insulated URD cables was accomplished through out new method. which was to be analyzed non-electrical experiments and synthesized by degradation points. To supplement this method, it was also carried out using several electrical analyses. Breakdown voltages were measured and breakdown lifetimes were Predicted appling for Weibull distribution function. As a result, breakdown lifetime in failure cables was shorted up to 1/3 times than that in general cables. It was very available to estimate cable degradation using above method, but it needs further study on XLPE insulated URD cables in order to improve reliability.

  • In this paper, the complex accelerating degradation of traction motor driven with VVVF controlled inverter were performed on the form coil samples with the 200 Class insulation system. in order to evaluate the reliability and the long-term life. After aging, the dielectric and PD properties were investigated on the 10 cycles aging sample in the range of $20{\sim}160[^{\circ}C]$ and AC $250{\sim}2250[V]$ to diagnosis the condition of end-life and find the dominative factors of degradation.

  • Internal corrosion of the distribution line can be detected in order to develop techniques of non-destructive inspection methods that operate only on the metal track eddy current diagnosis is possible by applying the technique investigated. Sensor for the production of a finite element method modeled by using an eddy current sensor, a distribution line by using an accelerated aging samples of sodium hydroxide was prepared. Sheathed cables for internal corrosion studies detected using an eddy current sensor is considered to be possible.

통계처리와 패턴 인식 기법에 의한 부분방전 해석 (Analysis of Partial Discharge Signals Using Statistical and Pattern Recognition Technique)

  • In this study, we detected electromagnetic waves generated in an enclosed switchgear and applied various statistical methods for detecting signals. We calculated the various statistical factors via the appropriate statistical methods. Further, we used these statistics to recognize the characteristics for each pattern by identifying the partial discharge in each case for normal, proceeding and abnormal states. The characteristics of electromagnetic wave patterns occurred in various states at electric power facilities and were used as an output variable for more efficient diagnosis. In this paper, we confirmed that the pattern of partial discharge signal can be used as one of the factors used to analyze the insulation state and to consider while estimating diagnosis of insulation states by recognizing the signal pattern to intelligence. We will utilize the proposed diagnosis method to determine insulation degradation states.
