GSI소자 개발을 위한 극 저 에너지 이온 주입에 대한 분자 역학 시뮬레이션 (Molecular dynamics simulation of ultra-low energy ion implantation for GSI device technology development)

  • Molecular dynamicsinvestigations of ion implantation considering point defect generation were performed with ion energies in the range of ~1keV, Simulation starts perfect diamond cubic lattice site. Stillinger-Weber potential and ZBL potential were used to calculate forces between atoms. We have simulated slowing-down of ion velocity, ion trajectory and coupled-coing between ion and silicon. We also discussed distribution of point defect using rdial distribution function. We found that interstitial produced by ion bombardment mainly formed interstitial cluster.

커먼레일 파이프 헤딩공정의 접힘결함 방지에 관한 연구 (A Study for Preventing Folding Defect of the Common Rail Pipe in Heading Process)

  • With the latest automobile technology, though the third generation common rail system requires high injection pressures up to 1,800bar, the next generation diesel engine is expected to require more higher pressures than the third generation. The common rail pipe requires higher strength because it is one of the parts in the common rail system, which is influenced directly by fuel under high pressure. Preform design is very important for preventing head of the common rail pipe from folding in the heading process. In this study, die angle, curvature, outer diameter of die and length of trapped part are selected as main parameters to obtain best preform shape minimizing radius of folding. Therefore optimal design is carried out by finite element analysis and Taguchi method through main parameters. Results of the finite element analysis have good agreements with those of the experiments in the actual field.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통과 원활히 동작할 수 있는 계통 연계형 태양광 발전시스템에 대한 특성을 해석하고 이론을 바탕으로 제작된 실 시스템을 적용$.$운용시 시스템의 운전특성 및 발전량을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과로서 구조적인 문제점과 관리적인 문제점을 도출하고, 이러한 문제점에 대한 대책으로서 설치될 장소의 장기적인 일사량 측정 데이터수집을 동하여 최적의 일사량을 얻을 수 있는 지역설정과 최적의 설치형태를 설계함으로서 발전효율을 높일 수 있다. 또한, 운영시스템 및 모니터링 관리가 현행의 OS시스템으로서는 해결이 불가능한것을 전용의 OS개발과 데이터 백업 시스템을 구축함으로서 실 시스템 운용상의 문제점을 해결할 수 있었다.

튜브 스피닝 공정에서 성형깊이가 컵형 튜브의 변형거동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Forming Depth on the Deformation Behavior of Cup-like Tubes in Tube Spinning Process)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of forming depth on the deformation behavior of cup-like tubes made of AISI1020 steel in tube spinning process. Spinning process was performed on cup-like tubes, which had an inner diameter of 34mm and thicknesses of 7, 8.5 or 11.5mm. The forming depths achieved were 3, 4, and 5.5mm. The complex deformation behaviors occurring during the tube spinning process was explained using the experimental results. Also analyzed were the causes of the material buildup and the bulge defect of inner surface, observed on cross section of tubes. The relationship between tube spinning conditions and the height of bulge defect was examined. The results indicate that bulge defect is increased with a decrease of the forming depth. Moreover, a critical forming depth exists for preventing the generation of the bulge defect in the tube spinning process. The present results will be useful for future decisions of forming depths for successful tube spinning of cup-like tubes.

  • 현재 풍력발전은 우리나라에서 가장 주목 받고 있는 신재생에너지 분야로 많은 연구가 진행 중이다. 풍력발전을 구성하는 요소 중 핵심 요소인 블레이드에 손상이 발생할 경우에 발전 효율에 직접적인 영향을 미치므로 효율적인 유지보수를 위해 초기에 결함을 측정하는 기술이 매우 중요한 상태이다. 그러나 기존의 초음파 비파괴 검사 및 열화상 비파괴 검사는 소요시간이 길고 실시간 모니터링이 어려우므로 초기 결함 측정이 불가능하다. 기존의 문제를 보완하고자 본 논문에서는 표면파를 이용한 블레이드 표면상태 실시간 모니터링에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 압전센서 기반의 시스템을 구성하여 블레이드 표면샘플에 대해 공정 변수 별 기초 성능 실험을 하였고, 소형 블레이드에 대해 공정변수 별 실험을 통해 블레이드의 크랙, 벗겨짐, 장애물 등을 실시간으로 모니터링이 가능한지 연구 하였다.

  • Purpose: In this study, we apply environmental stress screening (ESS) to battle management system (BMS) of a tank and use the ESS profile based on production process data, guided by MIL-HDBK-781/344/2164. Methods: To optimize ESS Profile of the BMS of a tank, we estimate ESS model parameters (e.g., defect density, screening strength) using primary production failure reporting and corrective action system (FRACAS) data of military supply contract firm. Results: First, we collect the Primary production FRACAS data of military supply contract firm. Second, we compute curve fitting approach to find patent defect density and latent defect density using FRACAS data. Third, we solve the equation of Defect Density(patent defect density + latent defect density)($D_{IN}$) and Screening Strength(SS) Using second step data. As a result of analysis according to the order, we calculate $D_{IN}$(Temperature stress case : 74.02, Vibration stress : 10.252) and : SS(Temperature stress case : 0.4632, Vibration stress : 0.4142) and confirm the Condition II-D based on MIL-HDBK-344. According to Condition II-D, it is necessary to modify existing ESS profile through decreasing the $D_{IN}$ and increasing the SS. Conclusion: Identification of defect causes through ESS approach reduce defect densities for production. It provides feedback to a lessons-learned data base to avoid similar problems on next generation tank BMS.

차세대 고속열차의 레일표면 결함 검출 시스템 (Rail Surface Defect Detection System of Next-Generation High Speed Train)

  • In this paper, we proposed the automatic vision inspection system using multi-layer perceptron to detect the defects occurred on rail surface. The proposed system consists of image acquisition part and analysis part. Rail surface image is acquired as equal interval using line scan camera and lighting. Mean filter and dynamic threshold is used to reduce noise and segment defect area. Various features to characterize the defects are extracted. And they are used to train and distinguish defects by MLP-classifier. The system is installed on HEMU-430X and applied to analyze the rail surface images acquired from Honam-line at high speed up to 300 km/h. Recognition rate is calculated through comparison with manual inspection results.

탐상조건 예측을 위한 초음파 시뮬레이션 (Ultrasonic Simulation for Test Condition Estimate)

  • Ultrasonic testing has a characteristics such as excellent permeability, high-sensitivity to find defect and an almost exact measurement for position. size and direction of inner defect, which differ from other non-destructive testing. In the study, we developed program into optimal testing condition, to distinguish obstacle echo and defect position. This program shows generation and processing of ultrasonic pulse. We compared simulation with ultrasonic test in 45$^\circ$, 60$^\circ$and 70$^\circ$transducer. Test results were in accordance with simulation within 0.1~7.2%.

집속형 레이저 유도초음파에 의한 결함검출 (Defect Detection Using Focused Lamb Waves Generated by Laser)

  • Arc-shaped line array slits have been used for the laser generation of focused Lamb waves. The spatially expanded Nd:YAG pulse laser was illuminated through the arc-shaped line array slit on the surface of a sample plate to generate the Lamb waves of the same pattern as the slit. Then the generated Lamb waves were focused at the point of which distance from the slit position is dependent on the curvature of slit arc. The proposed method showed better spatial resolution than the conventional linear array slit in the detection of laser machined linear defect and drill machined circular defect on aluminum plates of 1mm thickness.

차세대 나노소자에서의 물리적 논점 (Physical issues for the next generation of nano devices)

  • Advanced process and integration for future semiconductor devices is approaching the physical limit. The new materials with low dimensional structure have recently attracted great attention due to its expandability for the future electronic devices. In order to apply the materials to future semiconductor devices, the control of carrier scattering is critical issue. That is, the carrier scattering with physical quantity in low dimensional structure significantly modulates the device characteristics. We introduce the role of defect in several future semiconductor materials and devices. The analysis of defect in the structure becomes the most important techniques. In particular, surface defect in nano structures totally controls the device characteristics. The changes imply that the metrology field is leading the future industry for semiconductor.
