Between March 1989 and December 1994, one-stage repair was performed for correction of the intracardiac malformations associated with aortic coarctation in 34 patients or interrupted aortic arch in 8 patients via median sternotomy. There were 26 male and 16 female patients, and their body weight ranged from 1.8 to 8 kg [mean weight, 4.0 1.4 kg . The age at the operation ranged from 7 days to 18 months [mean age, 3.1 $\pm$ 3.8 months . The repair of aortic coarctation or interrupted aortic arch was performed using extended end-to-end anastomosis in most of the patients [86%, 36/42 , and six patients underwent ductal tissue excision and patch aortoplasty. Intracardiac defects were corrected concomitantly through the right atrium unless the anatomy dictated otherwise. Obstructive outlet septum was resected whenever necessary. There were seven early deaths [16.8 % , and three late deaths with a mean follow-up period of 25 months [range from 1 to 65 months . Three patients were reoperated upon residual subaortic stenosis, stenosis at the RPA origin, and subacute bacterial endocarditis respectively. None showed any significant residual or anastomotic stenosis postoperatively. One stage repair of the aortic coarctation and interrupted aortic arch associated with intracardiac defect leaves no native coarctation shelf tissue or residual hypoplasia in the repaired segment, has low incidence of recurrent or residual stenosis, minimizes reoperation and incisions, and manages arch hypoplasia easily. We concluded that surgical results of one-stage repair for the intracardiac malformation associated with aortic coarctation or interrupted aortic arch are reasonable.

With improvements in diagnostic imaging techniques for the brain, pituitary tumors without neurological signs or symptoms have occasionally been found. To evaluate therapeutic strategy for incidentally found pituitary tumors ("pituitary incidentaloma"), we analyzed the result of magnetic resonance imaging findings and of ophthalmological and endocrinological studies in 3 cases with follow up. Incidentally found functioning tumors were excluded. All of 3 cases is greater than 10mm in tumor size("pituitary macroincidentaloma"). The follow-up period was 49 months, 16 months and 6 months(mean, 25.3 months) in each case. There was no evidence of tumor enlargement, endocrinological problems and visual field defect during follow-up period. Patients with pituitary incidentalomas usually follow a benign course and neurosurgical intervention is not initially required in the management even those greater than 10mm in diameter. Observation over time may be good approach to the patient with a pituitary macroincidentaloma to avoid the unnecessary risk for surgery in a patients with a stable mass.

Tetralogy of Fallot is characterized by the interventricular septal defect associated with obstruction of the right ventricular outflow. The importance of the latter anatomic malformation was clinically evaluated according to the angiographic measurements of the pulmonary arteries along with the pulmonary valve annulus. Seventy of a total 76 patients operated on during a whole year of 1981 were the patients for clinical evaluation. Fifteen patients died within 1 month after operation with the operative mortality of 21.4%. The young age and the severity of pulmonary arterial hypoplasia were ones among the surgical risk factors at a total corrective surgery of tetralogy. Preoperative angiographic measurements of the pulmonary arteries to speculate the expected postoperative ratio between the left ventricular and the right ventricular pressures were retrospectively calculated according to the formula. The predicted values of P RV/LV greater than 0.5 carried apparenliy higher complication and mortality rates than the group of P RV/LV less then 0.5. The selection of the candidates for either a total correction or the staged operation In tetralogy of Fallot can be evaluated on the preoperative angiographic measurements and the expected Improvements of the clinical results were discussed.

최근 들어 소프트웨어의 복잡도와 규모의 증가와 함께 테스트의 중요성 또한 증대되고 있다. 테스트는 QA(Quality Assurance) 기간에 한정되지 않고 개발 기간에 꾸준히 적용 되어 자주 수행될수록 높은 품질 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 하지만, 지금까지 대다수의 테스트는 QA과정에 국한 되어 반복적이고 비 능률적인 매뉴얼 테스트 방법을 위주로 진행 되고 있다. 이는 코드 변경에 대해 효과적으로 회귀 테스트(Regression Test)를 수행할 수 없음을 의미하며 결과적으로 테스트를 자주 수행할수록 비용이 급격하게 증가하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위한 테스트 자동화 프레임워크(Framework)를 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 테스트 프레임워크는 테스트 테이블을 바탕으로 테스트를 가시적으로 설계할 수 있는 기능을 제공하며 스크립트 및 코드 작성을 최소화하여 적은 비용으로 빠른 시간 안에 테스트 자동화를 구현할 수 있도록 도와준다.

이미지 센서 및 모듈의 영상 취득 특성을 테스트할 때에는 테스트 기기마다 화소값을 비교하는 방법, 결함을 수치화하는 방법, 불량을 판별하는 방법이 천차만별로 다르기 때문에 이미지 센서 및 모듈의 영상 취득 특성을 테스트하는 장비는 테스트 대상 기기의 종류에 따라 따로따로 셋업되어야 한다. 일반적으로 테스트 내용은 표준화된 형식이 아니라 임의 형식의 기술문서로 전달되기 때문에 테스트 대상 기기에 맞추어 수작업으로 테스트 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 매우 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하며 오류의 위험성도 높다. 본 논문에서는 하나의 프로그램으로 현재 사용되는 테스트를 거의 모두 수용할 수 있도록 다양한 영상 취득 테스트를 단일 프레임워크로 표현하는 표준화된 기술 방법을 제안한다.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a major cause of respiratory infection in children. Most of the pediatric population have RSV infection before the age of 2, and recurrent infections are common even within one season. Chronic lung disease, prematurity, along with congenital heart disease (CHD) are major risk factors in severe lower respiratory infection. In hemo-dynamically significant CHD patients with RSV infection, hospitalization is usually needed and the possibility of treatment in intensive care unit and the use of mechanical ventilator support are known to increase. Therefore the prevention of RSV infection in CHD patients is mandatory. The current standard for RSV prevention is immunoprophylaxis by palivizumab. Immunoprophylaxis is recommended monthly in hemodynamically significant CHD patients, up to 5 months. Motabizumab, a second generation drug and newly developing RSV vaccines are also expected to play a key role in RSV prevention in the future. The prophylaxis of RSV infection in CHD patients is cost-effective in both the medical aspect of the patients as well as the socio-economic aspect. Therefore an effort to promote prevention should be made by not only the family of the patients but also by the government.

Todays, computers in business world are potent facilitators that most companies could not without them, while they are only tools. They offer extremely efficient means of communication, particularly when connected to Internet. What I stress in this article is the risks accompanied by e-commerce rather than the advantages of Internet or e-commerce. The management of e-commerce companies, therefore, should keep in mind that the benefit of e-commerce through the Internet are accompanied by enhanced and new risks, cyber risks or e-commerce risks. For example, companies are exposed to computer system breakdown and business interruption risks owing to traditional and physical risks such as theft and fire etc, computer programming errors and defect softwares and outsider's attack such as hacking and virus. E-commerce companies are also exposed to tort liabilities owing to defamation, the infringement of intellectual property such as copyright, trademark and patent right, negligent misrepresent and breach of confidential information or privacy infringement. In this article, I would like to suggest e-commerce insurance or cyber liability insurance as a means of risk management rather than some technical devices, because there is not technically perfect defence against cyber risks. But e-commerce insurance has some gaps between risks confronted by companies and coverage needed by them, because it is at most 6 or 7 years since it has been introduced to market. Nevertheless, in my opinion, e-commerce insurance has offered the most perfect defence against cyber risks to e-commerce companies up to now.

One of the most important targets of transportation is to transport human and commodities to the destination safely. Railway has low risk, compared with land, ocean and flight route and it assures high security as well as high speed driving, since it runs on regular track. However, train accident may result in tragic accident due to small carelessness, so special event recorder is preferably used in order for clarity of responsibility in case of accident, maintenance of signal device and defect analysis. JRU(Juridical Recorder Unit) for ATC/ATS/ATP can be more advanced event recorder. Event recorder of KTX-I which is running now is installed one by one on each leading car and last car, and operation plan of event recorder in case of single trainset is suggested. But regarding train operation of multi-coupled trainset operation such as KTX-II, more detailed study is required for event recorder revitalization and record data process method. Therefore, this research aims at operation plan used in existing event recorder, and suggests effective operation and management plan of event recorder in multi-coupled trainset such as new High Speed Train.

As the use of advanced quality materials in constructions has been increasing since 1980 with the improvements in the quality of life and economic scale, there has been drastic increase in constructions using stones for the internal and external construction materials. However, the reality is where many problems rise due to improper construction and management of uncertified stones which shorten the expiry date of the stones and act as the factor causing defects in buildings. Such defects not only bring economic losses but also influence consumer choice and act as risk factors to demand expansion of stone market. Therefore, the object of this study lies on proposing plans to prevent personal and economical losses due to repetitive defects by deriving the types of defects generated by process in stone constructions and identify the causes. Also, proposing construction process management plans as the measure for defect prevention, analyzing problems of stone constructions followed by the whole proves of design, construction and maintenance of stones, and solving such problems through appropriate participation of professional consultants depending on situations.
