What the structure of knowledge management capability (KMC) to improve the organizational performance is an important issue for researchers and practitioners with growing interest in recent years. In this paper, we begin with a deep thinking about the resource-based view and knowledge-based view of the firm applying to knowledge management issues. By exploring the two underlying theories of knowledge management, together with an intensive review and interpretation of existing literatures, we obtain six major dimensions of KMC. We then propose an integrated conceptual model of KMC and its relationship with organizational performance. A PLS analysis of the gathered data from organizations in Korea which already have enterprise-wide knowledge management systems is conducted to validate the proposed model. We discuss several meaningful implications and draw several insightful conclusions surrounding the KMC.
Remotely Operated Vehicle of 6000-meters is a new conceptual equipment made to replace the manned systems for investigating the deep-sea environment, and all of the ROV systems in operational condition strongly depend on the connecting cables. In this point of view dynamics of the ROV cable system is very important for operational and safety aspects as a cable generally encounters great tension. Researches have been executed on this problem, and most of papers have been mainly focused on the operational condition of ROV system in deep sea. This paper presents the dynamic cable response analysis during ROV launching condition rather than the operational one in order to provide the design guide of a ROV cable system in this circumstance, considering the coupling effects between cable and wave-induced ship motion. To obtain the variations of cable tensions during a ROV launching, a pre-stressed harmonic response analysis was carried out. Wave-induced tensions of the cable during ROV launching were obtained in real sea states using FE modeling, and the basic design guide of a ROV cable system was obtained.

The process equipment and remote handling for the deep geological disposal of high-level radioactive waste(HLW) should be checked prior to the operation in view of reliability and operability. In this study, the concept of virtual environment workcell is implemented to analyze and define the feasible disposal process instead of real mock-up, which is very expensive and time consuming. To do this, the parts of process equipment for the disposal and maintenance will be modeled in 3-D graphics, assembled, and kinematics will be assigned. Also, the virtual workcell for the encapsulation and disposal process of spent fuel will be implemented in the graphical environment, which is the same as the real environment. This virtual workcell will have the several functions for verification such as analyses for the equipment's work space, the collision detection, the path planning and graphic simulation of the processes etc. This graphic virtual workcell of the HLW disposal process can be effectively used in designing of the processes for the hot cell equipment and enhance the reliability of the spent fuel management.
Offshore floater such as FPSO, drillship is composed of topside and hull side, and the interface structure is called topside module support. In this study, practical considerations were investigated for the design of topside module supports, from the concept design stage to the final stage of structural determination, in view of design efficiency and construction productivity. The effects of welding design factors of topside module support, such as welding throat thickness, sectional welding area, and welding man-hours, were compared and analyzed closely with respect to productivity. The current status and problems regarding the application of deep or full penetration welding are discussed, and a direct-calculation method is suggested as a possible solution to these problems.
Traumatic neuromas are rare benign tumors that are common after trauma or surgery and are usually accompanied by obvious symptoms of pain. Most reports show neuromas in the face, neck, and limbs, and the traumatic neuroma of the medial plantar nerve has rarely been reported. We encountered a traumatic neuroma of the medial plantar nerve after a deep laceration mimicking a foreign body granuloma. A small mass lesion was found around plantar aponeurosis with heterogeneous high signal intensity in the T2 fat suppression view and slightly enhanced intensity in the magnetic resonance imaging that suggested a foreign body granuloma. The lesion was diagnosed pathologically as a traumatic neuroma. A satisfactory clinical result was obtained after excision of the traumatic neuroma and burial of the proximal and distal stumps to the adjacent muscle at the secondary operation.
The R-R interval analyzer was developed to measure the autonomic nervous system function using microcomputer. The system based on 8 bit microcomputer including bandpass filter, R-wave detector and clock generator in order to obtain the mean value, standard deviation, total time, CV value, maximum value and minimum value in the specific view point of R-R interval variation. The pattern of R-R interval change after resting, voluntary standing and deep breathing can be analysed in normal subjects and diabetics with autonomic nervous dysfunction. The amplitude of the R-R interval variation showed sensitive pattern for normal subjects at resting, standing and deep breathing. On the contrary, the periodicities of amplitude for abnormal subjects with autonomic nervous dysfunction showed dull pattern. It was suggested that R-R interval analyzer is a good detection method for dysfunction of autonomic nervous system.
Partial splitting of the upper sternum provides an excellent surgical view in reconstruction of the intrathoracic trachea. However, when deep-seated mediastinitis develops postoperatively, it is difficult to manage especially when combined with sternal osteomyelitis. It also needs an additional consideration compared to the usual treatment modality applied to mediastinitis following a standard median stemotomy because the lower part of the stemum remains intact. We treated a 50 year old female patient with deep-seated mediastinitis and sternal osteomyelitis following resection and end-to-end anastomosis of the trachea through an upper midline sternotomy. The patient underwent extensive stemectomy, omental free grafting, and pectoral myocutaneous flap. Postoperative viability of the free-grafted omentum was evaluated by angiography and CT scan.

Since the signal with strong power need be demodulated first for successive interference cancellation (SIC) receiver in non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems, the base station (BS) need inform the near user terminal (UT), which has allocated higher power, of the far UT's modulation mode. To avoid unnecessary signaling overhead of control channel, a blind detection algorithm of NOMA signal modulation mode is designed in this paper. Taking the joint constellation density diagrams of NOMA signal as the detection features, the deep residual network is built for classification, so as to detect the modulation mode of NOMA signal. In view of the fact that the joint constellation diagrams are easily polluted by high intensity noise and lose their real distribution pattern, the wavelet denoising method is adopted to improve the quality of constellations. The simulation results represent that the proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory detection accuracy in NOMA systems. In addition, the factors affecting the recognition performance are also verified and analyzed.
In this study, we apply conditional Generative Adversarial Network, which is one of the deep learning method, to the image-to-image translation from solar magentograms to solar UV and EUV images. For this, we train a model using pairs of SDO/AIA 9 wavelength UV and EUV images and their corresponding SDO/HMI line-of-sight magnetograms from 2011 to 2017 except August and September each year. We evaluate the model by comparing pairs of SDO/AIA images and corresponding generated ones in August and September. Our results from this study are as follows. First, we successfully generate SDO/AIA like solar UV and EUV images from SDO/HMI magnetograms. Second, our model has pixel-to-pixel correlation coefficients (CC) higher than 0.8 except 171. Third, our model slightly underestimates the pixel values in the view of Relative Error (RE), but the values are quite small. Fourth, considering CC and RE together, 1600 and 1700 photospheric UV line images, which have quite similar structures to the corresponding magnetogram, have the best results compared to other lines. This methodology can be applicable to many scientific fields that use several different filter images.

We present results from our long-term observing campaign, using the NASA IRTF at Maunakea, to obtain 2 - 4 ㎛ spectra of 118 red point sources in the line of sight to the Galactic Center (GC). Our sample is largely composed of point sources selected from near- and mid-infrared photometry, but also includes a number of massive young stellar objects. Many of these sources show high foreground extinction as shown by deep 3.4 ㎛ aliphatic hydrocarbon absorption feature, which is a characteristic of the diffuse ISM and comes from the long line of sight through the diffuse medium toward the Central Molecular Zone (CMZ), the central 300 pc region of the GC. The deep 3.1 ㎛ H2O ice absorption band coming from the local, dense material in the GC CMZ suggests that most sources are likely located in the GC CMZ. A few of these sources show weak CCH3OH ice absorption at 3.535 ㎛, which can provide a strong constraint on the CCH3OH ice formation in the unique environment of the CMZ. From the best-fitting models, the optical depths of these features are determined and used to generate a well-rounded view of the ice composition across the GC CMZ and the spectral characteristics of massive YSOs in the GC.
