Recently, CCTV installations are rapidly increasing in the public and private sectors to prevent various crimes. In accordance with the increasing number of CCTVs, video-based abnormal behavior detection in control systems is one of the key technologies for safety. This is because it is difficult for the surveillance personnel who control multiple CCTVs to manually monitor all abnormal behaviors in the video. In order to solve this problem, research to recognize abnormal behavior using deep learning is being actively conducted. In this paper, we propose a model for detecting abnormal behavior based on the deep learning model that is currently widely used. Based on the abnormal behavior video data provided by AI Hub, we performed a comparative experiment to detect anomalous behavior through violence learning and fainting in videos using 2D CNN-LSTM, 3D CNN, and I3D models. We hope that the experimental results of this abnormal behavior learning model will be helpful in developing intelligent CCTV.

Recently, various deep learning framework models such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras, etc. have appeared. In addition, CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is applied to image recognition using frameworks such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, and Keras, and the optimization model in image classification is mainly used. In this paper, based on the results of training the CNN model with the Paitotchi and tensor flow frameworks most often used in the field of deep learning image recognition, the two frameworks are compared and analyzed for image analysis. Derived an optimized framework.
As the blockchain technology attracts attention, interest in cryptocurrency that is received as a reward is also increasing. Currently, investments and transactions are continuing with the expectation and increasing value of cryptocurrency. Accordingly, prediction for cryptocurrency price has been attempted through artificial intelligence technology and social sentiment analysis. The purpose of this paper is to develop a deep learning ensemble model for predicting the price fluctuations and one-day lag price of cryptocurrency based on the design science research method. This paper intends to perform predictive modeling on Ethereum among cryptocurrencies to make predictions more efficiently and accurately than existing models. Therefore, it collects data for five years related to Ethereum price and performs pre-processing through customized functions. In the model development stage, four LSTM models, which are efficient for time series data processing, are utilized to build an ensemble model with the optimal combination of hyperparameters found in the experimental process. Then, based on the performance evaluation scale, the superiority of the model is evaluated through comparison with other deep learning models. The results of this paper have a practical contribution that can be used as a model that shows high performance and predictive rate for cryptocurrency price prediction and price fluctuations. Besides, it shows academic contribution in that it improves the quality of research by following scientific design research procedures that solve scientific problems and create and evaluate new and innovative products in the field of information systems.

Brain tumors can also be an abnormal collection or accumulation of cells in the brain that can be life-threatening due to their ability to invade and metastasize to nearby tissues. Accurate diagnosis is critical to the success of treatment planning, and resonant imaging is the primary diagnostic imaging method used to diagnose brain tumors and their extent. Deep learning methods for computer vision applications have shown significant improvements in recent years, primarily due to the undeniable fact that there is a large amount of data on the market to teach models. Therefore, improvements within the model architecture perform better approximations in the monitored configuration. Tumor classification using these deep learning techniques has made great strides by providing reliable, annotated open data sets. Reduce computational effort and learn specific spatial and temporal relationships. This white paper describes transfer models such as the MobileNet model, VGG19 model, InceptionResNetV2 model, Inception model, and DenseNet201 model. The model uses three different optimizers, Adam, SGD, and RMSprop. Finally, the pre-trained MobileNet with RMSprop optimizer is the best model in this paper, with 0.995 accuracies, 0.99 sensitivity, and 1.00 specificity, while at the same time having the lowest computational cost.

Recently, the demand and traffic volume for various multimedia contents are rapidly increasing through real-time streaming platforms. In this paper, we predict real-time streaming traffic to improve the quality of service (QoS). Statistical models have been used to predict network traffic. However, since real-time streaming traffic changes dynamically, we used recurrent neural network-based deep learning models rather than a statistical model. Therefore, after the collection and preprocessing for real-time streaming data, we exploit vanilla RNN, LSTM, GRU, Bi-LSTM, and Bi-GRU models to predict real-time streaming traffic. In evaluation, the training time and accuracy of each model are measured and compared.
Three-dimensional (3D) models have become crucial for improving civil infrastructure analysis, and they can be used for various purposes such as damage detection, risk estimation, resolving potential safety issues, alarm detection, and structural health monitoring. 3D point cloud data is used not only to make visual models but also to analyze the states of structures and to monitor them using semantic data. This study proposes automating the generation of high-quality 3D point cloud data and removing noise using deep learning algorithms. In this study, large-format aerial images of civilian infrastructure, such as cut slopes and dams, which were captured by drones, were used to develop a workflow for automatically generating a 3D point cloud model. Through image cropping, downscaling/upscaling, semantic segmentation, generation of segmentation masks, and implementation of region extraction algorithms, the generation of the point cloud was automated. Compared with the method wherein the point cloud model is generated from raw images, our method could effectively improve the quality of the model, remove noise, and reduce the processing time. The results showed that the size of the 3D point cloud model created using the proposed method was significantly reduced; the number of points was reduced by 20-50%, and distant points were recognized as noise. This method can be applied to the automatic generation of high-quality 3D point cloud models of civil infrastructures using aerial imagery.

Recently, researches and projects of companies based on artificial intelligence have been actively carried out. Various services and systems are being grafted with artificial intelligence technology. They become more intelligent. Accordingly, interest in deep learning, one of the techniques of artificial intelligence, and people who want to learn it have increased. In order to learn deep learning, deep learning theory with a lot of knowledge such as computer programming and mathematics is required. That is a high barrier to entry to beginners. Therefore, in this study, we designed and implemented a web-based deep learning platform called DeepBlock, which enables beginners to implement basic models of deep learning such as DNN and CNN without considering programming and mathematics. The proposed DeepBlock can be used for the education of students or beginners interested in deep learning.

Some surface defects make the weak quality of steel materials. To limit these defects, we advocate a one-stage detector model RetinaNet among diverse detection algorithms in deep learning. There are several backbones in the RetinaNet model. We acknowledged two backbones, which are ResNet50 and VGG19. To validate our model, we compared and analyzed several traditional models, one-stage models like YOLO and SSD models and two-stage models like Faster-RCNN, EDDN, and Xception models, with simulations based on steel individual classes. We also performed the correlation of the time factor between one-stage and two-stage models. Comparative analysis shows that the proposed model achieves excellent results on the dataset of the Northeastern University surface defect detection dataset. We would like to work on different backbones to check the efficiency of the model for real world, increasing the datasets through augmentation and focus on improving our limitation.

The Alaska competition provides an opportunity to study the practical problems of real-world steganalysis. Participants are required to solve steganalysis involving various embedding schemes, inconsistency JPEG Quality Factor and various processing pipelines. In this paper, we propose a method to ensemble multiple deep learning steganalyzers. We select SRNet and RESDET as our base models. Then we design a three-layers model ensemble network to fuse these base models and output the final prediction. By separating the three colors channels for base model training and feature replacement strategy instead of simply merging features, the performance of the model ensemble is greatly improved. The proposed method won second place in the Alaska 1 competition in the end.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a prevalent complication of diabetes that can lead to vision impairment if not diagnosed and treated promptly. This study presents a novel approach for the automated grading of diabetic retinopathy in ultra-widefield fundus images (UFI) using deep learning techniques. We propose a method that involves preprocessing UFIs by cropping the central region to focus on the most relevant information. Subsequently, we employ state-of-the-art deep learning models, including ResNet50, EfficientNetB3, and Xception, to perform DR grade classification. Our extensive experiments reveal that Xception outperforms the other models in terms of classification accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. his research contributes to the development of automated tools that can assist healthcare professionals in early DR detection and management, thereby reducing the risk of vision loss among diabetic patients.
