Developing Build-Own (or Operate)-Transfer (BOT) nuclear power project carrying large capital in the long term requires initially well-made multi-decision which it prevents sorts of risks from unexpected situation of target countries. In order to analyze the feasibility of project country, the Analytic Hierarchy Process is adopted. Firstly, the factors influencing the success of BOT nuclear power project in overseas countries were investigated through the literature survey for the country risk and were evaluated by expert interview for estimating comparative weight through pairwise comparison between such factors. Finally, it is developed comparative database of alternate countries with respect to each factor. This analytic method enables the developer to select and focus on the country which has preferable circumstance so that it enhances the efficiency of the project promotion. Also, it enables the developer to quantify the qualitative factors so that it diversifies the project success strategy and policy for the target country.

The purpose of this study is propose an alternative for flight attendants to acquire equipment that could enhance the ability to adapt in flying conditions. Introducing and acquiring weapon system, such equipments should be deeply considered in multilateral aspects; reinforcements in the overall strategic status in the army, the ramifications that can contribute to military resources, and economic situations in the country. To do this, we first induced several criteria that can be used for evaluating alternatives. After that, we applied the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) approach to putting all factors into considerations in decision making for equipment acquirement. The results of this study are expected to have usefulness in formulating strategies and policies in selecting equipment acquisition alternatives for flight attendants.

본 연구는 대안이 많지 않은 의사결정에서 계층적 의사결정론(analytic hierarchy process)과 컨조인트 분석 간의 비교를 다루었다. 계층적 의사결정론은 속성들의 쌍대비교 과정을 거쳐 속성의 중요도를 추정한 후 대안들의 순위를 추정하는 방법이며, 컨조인트 분석은 대안의 순서로부터 속성의 효용을 추정하는 방법으로, 의사결정의 과정이 다르기에 두 방법을 직접적으로 비교하는 것은 다소 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 Scholl (2004)의 타당도 척도를 사용하여 두 방법을 S대학 여학생들의 화장품 선택 사례 연구를 통하여 두 방법을 서로 비교하였다. 사례연구 결과 컨조인트 분석은 내적타당도가 높게 나타났으며, 계층적 의사결정분석 방법은 예측타당도가 높게 나타남을 볼 수 있었다.

This study presents the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a potential decision-making method for obtaining the relative weights of alternatives through pairwise comparison in the context of hierarchical structure. The aim of this study was to elicit prior strategies for brand communication for Korean restaurants overseas. We created a questionnaire and surveyed experts at government agencies, restaurant companies, and universities from October to November 2011. By applying the pairwise comparison matrix, relevance was perceived as a more important strategy evaluation criteria than effectiveness or urgency. The highest-ranked strategy was the 'Identification of the BI and positioning of Korean restaurants' followed by 'Development of Korean food content for overseas promotion', 'Development of locally customized Korean food recipes and new Korean menus', 'Development of marketing communication strategies for Korean restaurants by countries', and 'Development of Korean restaurant differentiation strategies'. The results of this study can be used for effective Korean food globalization by enhancing the competitiveness in the world market.

The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between mission-oriented Command, organization efficiency, organization culture of 626 field officers in JFMU. Firstly. the study found that decision making in the relationship between mission-oriented command and organization efficiency had negative effect on job satisfaction. Planning and trust lead to positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment and no significance in self decision. Secondly, mission-oriented command may differ depending on the types of organization culture and organization culture has positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Thirdly, mission-oriented command has some effect which derives from its impact on organization efficiency that also effects rational culture and rank hierarchy culture. These study results suggest different measures in terms of practice and policy. Firstly. within the military organization, precise communication will lead to job satisfaction without unnecessary overload of communication. Also. we have rationale culture, agreement culture and rank hierarchy culture forming our organization culture. There is a need to apply elements of mission-oriented command depending on the types of organization culture. Secondly, to maximize organization performance through mission-oriented command, we have to strengthen the rationale and rank hierarchy cultures and especially introduce development culture which should be established within the military organization.

Decision Analysis(DA) using Value Focused Thinking(VFT) can be an excellent process to deal with hard decisions. The intent of this research is to provide better understanding of the United States Air Force(USAF) officer retention problem. This thesis effort involves building a VFT model to find out more effective alternatives in retaining pilots and non pilots. This model, in conjunction with the results of the post analysis, shows an example of the application of a VFT approach to the USAF officer retention problem.

The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal gas turbine system for special purpose ships. First we generate critical evaluation criteria an construct their hierarchical structure. The criteria consist of qualitative ones as well as the economic factor. Then AHP is applied to solve the decision making problem AHP gibes good results different from those only by the economic evaluation methods. And during the analysis, the procedure produces many useful informations to the decision making. The results shows that AHP is an appropriate method for these kinds of problems such as the system selection.

AHP is a well-known multiattribute decision technique that has been applied to private and public areas. It is well suited to group decision making and offers many benefits as a synthesizing mechanism in group decisions. This paper explains why the AHP is well-suited to group decision making by means of the case study. This paper describes two contrasting approaches to group decision making involving multiple criteria. A compromise programming method and the analytic hierarchy process are analyzed and compared by using an illustrative example of a computer model selection problem to demonstrate their usefulness as a viable tool for group decision making. This paper further considers some extensions and modifications of there two methods for future study.

Recently a new multi-attribute analysis method is one of the evident areas of important points in the decision support system analysis. The area of decision support system may be broken into three primary area: idea generation, multi-attribute structured analysis method, and the integration of the results of analysis. This research developed an internet/intranet-based solution builder for a three-step decision support system in the view of 1) brainstorming for the idea generation, 2) analytic hierarchy process as a multi-attribute structured analysis method and 3) aggregating logic model to integrate the results of individual analysis. A computer program is developed and demonstrated in internet/intranet-based decision problem. This solution builder provides decision makers a good tool for remote group decision making.
