유아의 실행기능과 수학이야기문제해결력 간의 관계 (The Relationship Between Young Children's Executive Function and Arithmetic Story Problem Solving Abilities)

  • Objective: This study investigated whether executive function has a significant relationship to concrete, picture, and language clue tasks of the arithmetic story problem-solving ability, and its effects. Methods: The participants in the study were 112 young children at childcare centers. The following methods were used to evaluate executive function: Day-Night/Flag-Raising tasks, DCCS tasks, and digit span-reverse digit span methods. To measure the arithmetic story problem-solving ability concrete, picture, and language clue tasks were evaluated. Results: First, the higher the child's age, the higher their executive function and arithmetic story problem-solving abilities were. Second, there is a significant positive correlation between a young child's executive function and arithmetic story problem-solving ability. Third, when the task presentation method varied for concrete, picture, and language clue tasks, the effect of the subordinate factor of the execution function of the arithmetic story problem-solving ability also varied. Conclusion/Implications: Analysis confirmed the relationship between young children's executive function and arithmetic story problem-solving ability. The results are meaningful in showing that the sub-factors of the executive function have different influences on concrete, picture, and language clue tasks of the arithmetic story problem-solving ability.

The mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication skills and practices of preventing infectious diseases among daycare center teachers in South Korea

  • Purpose: This study investigated the practices of preventing infectious diseases by daycare center teachers. The focus was on the mediating effects of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication skills and practices of preventing infectious diseases. Methods: This study used a descriptive correlational design. The participants were 164 daycare center teachers. Hierarchical regression was used to test the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between communication skills and practices of preventing infectious diseases. Data were analyzed using the independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression. The mediation effect was analyzed using an SPSS Macro program, PROCESS. Results: Significant relationships were found between communication skills and practices of preventing infectious diseases (β=.19, p<.001), self-efficacy and practices of preventing infectious diseases (β=.59, p<.001), and communication skills and self-efficacy (β=.27, p<.001). Self-efficacy had a significant mediating effect (β=.17, 95% confidence interval=0.07~0.29) on practices of preventing infectious diseases. Conclusion: In order to improve practices of preventing infectious diseases among daycare teachers, it is necessary to develop and apply interventions and methods that can increase effective communication skills and self-efficacy.

학령전기 아동 부모의 아동 건강지식 정도, 건강습관 지도이행도 수준 및 건강교육 요구도 조사 (Health Knowledge, Health-Guidance Execution and Health-Education Needs of Parents of Preschoolers)

  • Purpose: In an attempt to develop a parental health improvement education program for day care children, survey questions were devised to measured the extent of parental health knowledge, health-guidance execution and needs. Method: Participants were 727 parents whose children attended daycare centers in J province informed consent was provided prior to participation. Result: Respondents were overwhelmingly (91.6%) mothers. Questions with high percentage of incorrect answers were "What should I do if my child swallows harmful drugs, bleach or detergents?" (98.1%) and "What should I do if insects or other bugs enter my child's ear?" (96.6%). In most cases, parental health-guidance execution exceeded 90% except in response to the survey question "Does your child have a dental check-up every 6 months" (51%). Taken together, parental education is necessary concerning growth and development (12.8%), nutrition (12.1%), healthy life styles (10.3%) and general health issues (10.0%). Conclusions: Parental health knowledge about preschooler's health varies with degree of income, education and type of employment. Consideration of these variables is important in a parental health education program.

보육교사의 발달에 적합한 실제(DAP)에 대한 신념 및 교사효능감이 갈등해결태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Teachers' DAP Beliefs and Teacher Efficacy on Conflict Resolution Attitudes)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 발달에 적합한 실제(DAP)에 대한 신념 및 교사효능감이 갈등해결태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 인천지역 어린이집에 근무하는 보육교사 128명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 상관분석, 다변량 분산분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하여 분석되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회인구학적 변인 가운데 연령에 따른 차이만 유의미하게 나타났는데, 20대 교사가 30대 이상 교사보다 DAP신념, 협력형 갈등해결 수준이 높고 회피형 갈등해결 수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 DAP신념과 교사효능감은 협력형 갈등해결과 정적 상관이 있는 반면에, 회피형 및 경쟁형 갈등해결 수준과는 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 보육교사의 DAP신념 및 교사효능감은 사회인구학적 변인을 통제한 이후에도 갈등해결태도에 영향을 미쳐, DAP신념과 교사효능감 수준이 높을수록 협력형 갈등해결을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아의 사회성 발달을 위한 적절한 교육이 이루어지기 위해 교사의 신념 및 교수전략에 대한 교사교육의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

민간 어린이집 교사가 지각하는 셀프리더십과 원장 리더십이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Teachers' Self-leadership and Principals' Leadership on Teachers' Efficacy)

  • 본 연구에서는 어린이집 교사효능감을 종속변인으로 하여 민간 어린이집 교사의 셀프리더십과 원장 리더십의 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 임의 선정한 민간 어린이집 36개소 보육교사 217명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 교사들은 원장 리더십에 대해 과업중심, 인화중심 리더십을 모두 높은 수준으로 지각하고 있는 것으로 나타났고 둘째, 원장리더십을 군집분석한 결과 인화형이 가장 많았고, 다음으로 과업형, 리더형, 부족형 순이었다. 교사의 셀프리더십 유형은 리더형이 가장 많았고 다음으로 제한형, 보상형, 과업형 순이었다. 셋째, 교사의 효능감에 교사 셀프리더십 그리고 원장 리더십이 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 교사효능감중 일반적 효능감에는 원장 과업중심 리더십, 원장 인화중심 리더십이, 교사 셀프리더십은 자기비판, 자기설정목표, 자기관찰, 그리고 자기존중이 유의미하게 영향을 주었고, 개인적 효능감과 관련해서는 원장 인화중심 리더십, 교사셀프리더십 중 자기비판, 자기설정목표가 유의미하게 영향을 주었다.

발달장애아동의 문제행동감소를 위한 집단놀이치료 효과에 대한 연구 -장애인 주간보호센터 이용자를 중심으로 (To Reduce Problem Behaviors of Children with Developmental Disabilities Group Play Therapy Case Study-Focusing on the Daytime Protection Center Users with Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 집단놀이치료가 발달장애아동의 문제행동 감소에 효과가 있는지 알아보고 위하여 연구를 실시하였다. 연구대상은 특수학교에 재학 중이며 장애인 단기보호센터를 이용하는 장애아동 5명이다. 연구기간은 2018.1. 2. - 2. 28. 까지 겨울방학을 활용하여 매주 2회 40분씩 총 12회기를 실시하였으며 측정도구는 문제행동 진단척도(K-CBCL)로 매 회기마다 행동변화를 질적으로 관찰하였다. 본 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 회기별 과정에서 장애아동들은 공격성, 위축, 우울, 불안 등이 유의미하게 감소하고 활동적이 모습이 증가하였다. 둘째, 집단놀이치료 개입 후 문제행동이 감소하고 외현화 문제보다 내재화 문제에서 더 많은 감소를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 집단놀이치료는 장애아동의 개별적인 특성에 따라 문제행동을 감소시키는데 의미가 있으므로 실천현장에 적용하고자 한다.

유아의 영상미디어 시청시간과 취침시간이 집행기능곤란에미치는 영향: 유아의 채널 선택권과 부모의 제한형 미디어중재의 조절된-조절된 매개효과 (The Effect of Children's Screen Media Time on Bedtime and Executive Function Difficulties: A Moderated-Moderated Mediation Effect of Children's Media Content Selection and Parental Restrictive Media Mediation)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the moderated-moderated mediating effects of children's media content selection and parental restrictive media mediation on the relationship between children's screen media time and executive function difficulties. Methods: A total of 693 parents of children aged 5~6 years participated in this study and were asked to answer all survey questions. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and correlation analysis using SPSS 27.0. Model 11 of PROCESS macro 4.3 was used to examine the moderated-moderated mediation model. Children's gender, age, childcare enrollment status, and household income were included in the analyses as covariates. Results: The moderated-moderated mediating effects of children's media content selection and parental restrictive media mediation were found to be significant. Specifically, bedtime mediated the relationship between screen media time and executive function difficulties only when parents did not appropriately implement restrictive mediation and children freely selected media content. Conclusion/Implications: It is recommended that parents understand the importance of implementing restrictive media mediation and selecting appropriate media contents for their child to prevent executive function difficulties in early childhood. Also, child education or day-care centers should offer education program about appropriate media use to reach more parents.

방문 간호사의 방문 보건 활동 소요시간 분석 (Analysis of Time Taken for Visiting Nursing Activities by Visiting Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyse time taken for visiting nursing activities by visiting nurses in health centers. Method: A questionnaire was developed by a research team for the technological support of visiting nursing activities and visiting nurses. A total of 481 questionnaires were recovered by five visiting nurses from May to October 2003. Result: A visiting nurse's total length of time for visiting activities was 532.2 minutes per day and the number of households a visiting nurse visits a day was 4.5. A visiting nurse spent 133.3 minutes for actual nursing services and 119.1 minutes for travelling. Time for actual nursing activities was more than half of the total working hours. Time for travelling was 42.9 minutes on the average when using public transportation means and 25.6 minutes when using a car. Conclusion: The results of this study is expected to be used as basic data in establishing plans for the adequate supply of visiting nurses based on demands for visiting nursing services.

한국문화에 따른 간호정립을 위한 기초조사연구 III -의료관을 중심으로- (A Study of the Construction of Nursing Theory in Korean Culture - View of Medicine-)

  • This is a study for the construction of nursing care based upon the Korean attitude toward medicine. Factors which were investigated include the source of nursing care, the reason for choosing care, the type of heath care chosen, the accessability of caregivers, and the desired location of death. The population examined in this study consisted of 517 adults distributed in six large cities and 191 adults from five rural communities. Data was analyzed using frequency, percent, Cronbach alpha, $X^2$ - test, t - test, F - test and scheffe post hoc contrast with an SAS program. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. Among sources of nursing care used, first rank rated-pharmacy(54.4), private hospital(18.2), general hospital(8.4), folk remedies in house (5.0), chinese hospital(2.8), prayer(2.8) and others(8.4), and the reasons for choosing nursing care rated 'the easiest method' (63.6), 'the best method'(15.7), 'reliable'(10.8) and 'lower cost burden'(4.6) in order of preference. 2. The type of nursing care chosen rated western medicine(6.80), chinese medicine(6.15), folk remedies(5.46), faith remedies(3.51) and divination remedies (1.41). There were significant differences in the effect recognition degree to various kinds of medicine. 3. The difference of the type of nursing care chosen according to general characteristics showed that urban residents were higher than rural community residents(t=2.15, p=0.0320) in western medicine, and urban residents, women, and singles were higher than rural community residents(t=2.04, p=0.0414), men (t= -2.89, p=0.0039), and married(t=2.50, p= 0.0126) on folk remedies. With repect to age and education those 21-30, under 20 and 31-40, graduated from college and graduate school were higher than above 51, above 61 (F = 7.76, p = 0.0001), graduated from elementary school(F=4.39, p=0.0006) on folk remedies. In other categories, rural community residents, women, younger people. Christians were higher than urban residents ( t = -2.73, p=0.0305), men(t= -4.15, p=0.0001), older people (F=2.48, p=0.0307), Catholic, Buddhist, or atheist (F= 70.18, p=0.0001) on faith remedies. Those graduated from high school and Buddhist were higher than unschooled, graduated from middle school(F=3.18, p= 0.0075), atheist, Catholic or Christian(F=18.32, p=0.0001) on divination redemies. There were significant differences concerning age and education level. 4. The accessibility of caregivers rated 'caregivers should be nearby if the patients need them' (50.0), 'caregivers must be there all day (24 hours)' (39.6), 'caregivers must be there at night only'(5.0), 'caregivers must be there during the day only'(2.6), 'caregivers always should visit during visiting hours' 0.4), 'caregivers don't need to be there at all' (1.2). The frist rank of suitable caregivers were rated as spouse(66.6), mother(24.2), daughter (3.6), daughter-in-law(1.9), and the reasons of thinking thus were rated as 'the most comfortable' (81.5), 'people should correctly with regards to family they'(7.1), 'the easiest' (5.4), 'take good care of the patient' (5.1) and 'lower cost burden' (0.4). 5. The desired location of death rated as the following: his/her house (91. 6) to the hospital(8. 4). A person going to encounter death in the hospital wanted his house(78.5) over the hospital(21.5), and a person dieing in the hospital prefered his house(52.9) over the hospital(47.1) as a funeral ceremony place. The following suggestions are made based on the above results. 1. A sampling method that enhances the re presentativeness should be used in regional and/or national related research and replicated to confirm the result of this study. 2. This study should be used to understand the Korean view of medical centers and to meet the expectations of patients in Korean nursing. 3. Research on the Korean traditional view of humans and expectations of the sick, health and illness, and health behavior, the perception of dying, the decision to heal, and the view of general medicine should continue to be conducted continuosly so that Korean nursing theory can be advanced on these concepts.

보육교사의 전문성 인식, 학습민첩성, 긍정심리자본이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Child Care Teachers' Professionalism, Learning Agility and Positive Psychological Capital on Their Job Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보육교사의 전문성 인식, 학습민첩성, 긍정심리자본 등이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하여 보육교사의 긍정적인 직무 수행에 필요한 정책적 시사점을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전남 지역의 보육교사 283명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 5년 이상의 경력을 가진 보육교사들이 전문성 인식과 긍정심리자본에 있어서 높은 수준을 보여주었다. 둘째, 보육교사의 직무만족도는 전문성 인식, 긍정심리자본, 학습민첩성의 순으로 높은 상관을 보였다. 셋째, 보육교사의 전문성 인식과 긍정심리자본이 직무만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 보육교사의 전문성 인식, 학습민첩성, 긍정심리자본은 직무만족도를 설명하는 유의미한 변인임을 확인하였다. 따라서 어린이집에서의 직무만족도를 높이기 위해서는 전문 연수과정과 컨설팅 등을 지원하여 스스로 전문직업인이라는 인식을 갖도록 하고 나아가 교사들에게 보다 많은 자율성을 부여하며 수직적인 어린이집의 운영 시스템을 개선할 필요가 있다.
