Case-Based Reasoning Method Using Case Data Base of Tall Buildings in Korea (국내 초고층 건물의 사례 데이터베이스를 이용한 사례기반추론기법)

  • In this study, a design-supporting system, which is intended to assist engineers in the schematic phase of the structural design, is developed using a case database that contains design information of tall buildings in Korea. A case-based reasoning method utilizing the case database is proposed. The inductive retrieval module for selecting structural system, in the initial stage, from the design information of case database for 47 tall buildings is presented. Also, the nearest-neighbor retrieval method for selecting similar design cases is introduced.

  • This paper describes a method for making 3D marine environmental database of ship handling simulator by using electronic nautical chart data. While developing simulator system, we had to digitize the nautical paper chart in order to obtain the basic data including coastline, navigational aids and so on. With the proposed method, we can get easily exact data from electronic navigational chart data, which is coded according to S-57 transfer standard of IHO and necessary to make the database of visual presentation system.

Nucleotide and protein researches on anaerobic fungi during four decades

  • Anaerobic fungi habitat in the gastrointestinal tract of foregut fermenters or hindgut fermenters and degrade fibrous plant biomass through the hydrolysis reactions with a wide variety of cellulolytic enzymes and physical penetration through fiber matrix with their rhizoids. To date, seventeen genera have been described in family Neocallimasticaceae, class Neocallimastigomycetes, phylum Neocallimastigomycota and one genus has been described in phylum Neocallimastigomycota. In National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) database (DB), 23,830 nucleotide sequences and 59,512 protein sequences have been deposited and most of them were originated from Piromyces, Neocallimastix and Anaeromyces. Most of protein sequences (44,025) were acquired with PacBio next generation sequencing system. The whole genome sequences of Anaeromyces robustus, Neocallimastix californiae, Pecoramyces ruminantium, Piromyces finnis and Piromyces sp. E2 are available in Joint Genome Institute (JGI) database. According to the results of protein prediction, average Isoelectric points (pIs) were ranged from 5.88 (Anaeromyces) to 6.57 (Piromyces) and average molecular weights were ranged from 38.7 kDa (Orpinomyces) to 56.6 kDa (Piromyces). In Carbohydrate-Active enZYmes (CAZY) database, glycoside hydrolases (36), carbohydrate binding module (11), carbohydrate esterases (8), glycosyltransferase (5) and polysaccharide lyases (3) from anaerobic fungi were registered. During four decades, 1,031 research articles about anaerobic fungi were published and 444 and 719 articles were available in PubMed (PM) and PubMed Central (PMC) DB.

  • There has been a renewal of interest in management of underground facility in recent years. As several research have been made on management for underground facility of waterworks pipe. In this paper smart-tag is defined and applied to requiring ubiquitous environment. Also, GPS is essential technology for the implementation of proposed program, which has GPS and RFID mixed business model. And it manages data of underground facility with RFID system effectively and provides the high quality practical effectiveness of entire system through GPS receiving module and network communication on GIS. In conclusion, this paper proposed applications management system with location mixed database. Proposed database and interface skill is tested and evaluated through the simulation.

  • A database program is constructed by collecting all information related to shallow foundations such as measured load-settlement data, foundation shapes and sizes, properties of soils under the foundation and various measured data obtained from field investigation methods including CPT, PMT and SPT etc.. Based on the database program, a special program module is developed for performing statistical analyses of reliability and accuracy of predicting equations used for calculation of settlement of the shallow foundations. Special interests are focused not only on the settlement, but also on the settlement to width ratio (s/B). Results of the reliability and accuracy analyses on five available settlement equations are provided. Conclusions based on the provided results can be confirmed by extending number of related reliable data about the shallow foundations and can be adapted as guidelines for design of the shallow foundations.

  • 인터넷의 사용 증가로 정보의 양은 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있으며 웹 데이터의 표준인 XML의 데이터 표현의 유연성으로 인해 EDMS(Electronic Document Management Syste), ebXML(e-business extensible Markup Language)등 웹 기반의 전자문서를 이용하는 XML를 문서 교환 및 표준 문서 형식으로 도입하고 있는 실정이다. 이런 XML문서들을 저장관리 하기 위해 XML전용 Database도 현재 많이 연구되고 있다. 하지만 이런 XML전용 Database들은 관계형 데이터베이스보다 실용성이 떨어지는 점들이 많아 XML과 관계형 데이터베이스 매핑에 대한 연구도 활발히 진행중이다. 본 논문에서는 $C{\sharp}$을 이용하여 XML과 관계형 데이터베이스 간의 매핑을 위한 모듈을 개발하였으며, XML의 element와 관계형 데이터베이스의 필드를 상호 매핑시켜 줌으로 인해 XML문서의 element를 정확하게 저장, 관리 할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 교습시스템에서 필요한 교수 모듈을 분석하고 이에 근거하여 새로운 교습모듈을 제시하고 구현하였다. 학습자의 학습능력을 평가하고 이에 따른 교습 전략을 세우고 교습방법을 설정하기 위하여 학습자의 성향을 정확히 파악하여야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 구축된 지식베이스와 학습자 성향을 파악하는 history database를 근거하여 개념 지도(concept map)을 이용하여 학습자 성향과 학습자의 지식 정도를 정확히 파악하여 교습모듈을 제시.구현하였다.

  • In this paper, NCTOP is an interactive NC auto programming system for two-dimensional machining. NCTOP consists of seven modules, that is pattern form input, free form input, AutoCAD interface, logic processing, postprocessor processing, output, and database upgrade module. The geometry information of a workpiece to be machined is put into NCTOP program. Then it generates NC program which is final output. NCTOP uses the machining dates from the data base.

  • This thesis implemented security systems of voice awareness which is higher accessible than existing security system using biological authentication system and is inexpensive in module of security device, and has an advantage in usability. Proposed the security systems of voice awareness implemented algorithm for characteristic extraction of inputted speaker's voice signal verification, and also implemented database of access control that is founded on extractible output. And a security system of voice awareness has a function of an authority of access control to system.
