The purpose of this study is to develop a recruiting platform resolving the mismatch between corporate job and job finder's competence in recruitment market. For this, we investigated technological trends and limitation on recruit platform. Based on the findings, this study investigates the trends and directions related to recruiting platform evolution and identified critical success factors and development strategies for successful development of recruiting platform. Two development strategies include employment of online resume and construction of database assessing job finder's competence. We also proposed target system architecture incorporating job database, competency assessment form, capability oriented resume. To analyze user requirement national competency standards and core job capability evaluation model were analyzed. Next, we designed integrated database, user interfaces, and dynamic functionalities using the forms developed in earlier stage. Finally, we assessed the fidelity of form item, integrity of database, and the usability of interface to evaluate the effectiveness of the system.

Our society becomes complex because technology is developing quickly. Especially, building services field deals with the important information that produces a drawing and manages the planning information and manpower. Therefore, the efficient management that connected with the construction information plays the important roles. The study develops a database by organizing systematically the various types of information using hypermedia. And, this study is to build the management system that can serve the various information that operated by DBMS on the web according to the DB structure. The information database was developed using internet web technology for building services field.

Miniaturization of computing devices, and advances in wireless communication and positioning systems will create a wide and increasing range of database applications such as location-based services, tracking and transportation systems that has to deal with Moving Objects. Various types of queries could be posted to moving objects, including past, present and future queries. The key problem is how to model the location of moving objects and enable Database Management System (DBMS) to predict the future location of a moving object. It is obvious that there is a need for an innovative, generic, conceptually clean and application-independent approach for spatio-temporal handling data. This paper presents behavioral aspect of the spatio-temporal databases for managing and querying moving objects. Our objective is to impelement and extend the Spatial TAU (STAU) system developed by Dr.Pelekis that provides spatio-temporal functionality to an Object-Relational Database Management System to support modeling and querying moving objecs. The results of the impelementation are demonstrated in this paper.

Databases are critical to business information systems, and RDBMS is most widely usded for the database system. Normalization has been designed to control various anomalies(insert, update, and delete anomalies). However, normalized databese design does not account for the tradeoffs necessary for the performance. In this research, we develop a model for database desin by denormalization of duplicating attributes in order to reduce frequent join processes. In this model, we consider insert, update, and delete costs. The anomalies are treated by additional disk I/O which is necessary for each insert and update transaction. We propose a branch and bound method for this model, and show considerable cost reduction.

The multi-projective model considers attributes and the relationships among attributes called projections. The critical features of the multi-projective model are the way of relating attributes in the description of the system, the way of reasoning incomplete projections, and the determination of connected patterns between projection. In order to get a full picture of the system, we build a set of projections. The multi-projective model can be thought of as projections of a multi-dimensional reality onto simplified “model space”. The multi-projective database modeling approach used in this paper unified the ideas and terminology of various database models. Most importantly, the multi-projective modeling is presented as a tool of database design in the relational and other database models.

각기 다른 보안 등급을 가지고 트랜잭션을 실행하는 다중 등급 보안 데이터베이스관리시스템에서의 보안 동시성 제어 기법은 비밀통로에 대한 고려가 있어야 한다. 보안 동시성 제어에 관한 선행 연구들은 동시성 제어 과정에서의 기밀성은 보장하고 있지만 무결성과 가용성에 대한 고려를 간과하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 검증된 트랜잭션 순서 관계를 사용하여 각기 다른 보안 등급의 트랜잭션들 간에 형평성을 제공하는 보안 동시성 제어 기법을 제안한다.

The setting of protective relays, which is critical to the system security, requires a huge volume of data and a lot of repetitive calculations. Therefore computerization of this process, named PROSET2000 is in progress in KEPCO. PROSET2000 is based on a power system protection database. The database must accomodate a variety of protective device data efficiently, which need be viewed and updated with ease. This paper suggests several database management functions for PROSET2000.

웹상에서 다양한 문서자료들의 효율적인 기록 및 이용관리를 위하여 본 논문에서는 서버의 요청에 따라 ODBC를 데이터베이스와 연동하여 웹서버와 데이터베이스 서버구조를 갖는 Web기반 데이터베이스를 구축한다. ASP의 OLE DB개체와 관련하여 확정제약조건과 불확정제약조건을 계량화하여 데이터베이스에 저장하여 추론할 수 있다 이렇게 함으로써 보다 편리하게 문서자료를 기록 및 이용 관리할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 제안 시스템의 적용을 위해 고교 생활기록부의 종합의견란을 6개 항목으로 종합하고 일반화하였다.

This paper presents the methods to solve the problem about Power System Protection Program(PROSET). PROSET is a overall program system to protect power system and correct it. In the context of the PROSET, it is so difficult to edit database data when topology is changed. When the renewal of data is performed, all changed values are disappeared. Therefore, it will not be expected to know the present situation by using the information of the databases data. So it is necessary to solve this problem. Solution is copy of the user. Database of GRL,GRZ,KYP2D1,KYD2X1,L90 Relay module were developed. We made a database management system for PROSET, therefore I will show this management system briefly.

데이타베이스 설계는 데이타베이스의 기본틀과 조직을 논리적으로 구성해주는 것으로 사용자의 요구와 응용분야, 다양한 데이타간의 관계성, 데이타와 적용분야간의 관계성 등을 고려하여 설정된다. 도로망데이타는 각 구간들의 현황을 파악하고 시의 다른 데이타들과 연결하는데 필요한 다수의 데이타 요소를 가지므로 기하학적 위상구조를 가지는 구조화된 도로 데이타베이스가 만들어져야 한다. 본 고에서는 도로관리 종합관리를 위한 도로망 데이타베이스 구축방안을 제시하고자 한다.
