The purpose of this study was to develop an information system for home care service based on RAI(Resident Assessment Instrument). The standardization of service providing process was conducted using the steps of need assessment, triggers, application of CAPs, and care plan. The structure of MDsoft-HC was composed by MDS-CAPS system and system management system. A database on home care clients was accumulated by putting data, respectively, in general information, MDS-item, and MDS-result. Based on this data, the list of CAPs for the client was selected and monthly and annual statistics were calculated by problem result counts. It was suggested that standardization of a care plan would be integrated and short form of need assessment would be developed in the next stage.

Risk assessment of a railway system should be periodically conducted managing a large amount of accumulating accident/incident data and scenarios, which generally requires enormous time and efforts. Therefore, special information management system is essential for railway risk assessment, where data needed for decisions on managing the railway safety could be promptly supported. The objective of this study is to develop a railway accident analysis program for risk assessment. The program is application running on the web which links railway accident analysts throughout the railway industry to a central database. Data entered, together with associated code tables. is stored on MS-SQL database. The program uses the concepts of accident, safety events, causes, related factors(vehicle, person, infrastructure, tool/equipment), recommendations to bring together the various elements of railway accidents. The program will be useful in finding hazard conditions, accident scenarios, quantitatively assessing the risk, and providing pertinent risk measures, eventually serving to prevent railway accidents and reduce severities of railway accidents.

Oil Field Geographical Information System (OFGIS) manages multiple spatial data, attribute data, and topographic data, which include almost every kind of ground info rmation and underground information. Subsystems managed by OFGIS include petroleum exploration subsystem (PESS), petroleum development and engineering subsystem (PDESS), petrochemical subsystem (PCSS), petroleum storage and transportation subsystem (PSTSS), petroleum sale subsystem (PSSS), etc. A basic OFGIS framework consists of oil field infrastructure coverage (OFIC), oil field specialized information coverage (OFSIC) and oil field synthesis and decision service coverage (OFSDSC). Basic function of OFGIS includes database management, geographic information management, spatial information processing and application.

This paper aims at developing communication module and application prcgram for client management module and developing database management module and managing wireless communication facilities for server systems. To construct these aims, we have adapted DES algorithm and researched on encrypting and decrypting module development applicable to SMS Security System and optimize module size and processing speed.

In this paper, an automated design system of suspension and steering parts is developed. The system automates the processes of 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting of the parts. In addition, the BOM and dimension data of the designed part is also automatically transferred to the database of ERP system. The system is developed by using the functions of parametric design and API(application Programming Interface) of the a commercial solid modeler.

GIS(Geographic Information System) tool has been applied to determine a spatial difference of weed population density in paddy field and it has introduced to rice yield difference among counties as well as to rice blast in Korea. There was highly difference between sampling sites in terms of spatial analysis which may imply to be able to apply this tool for the precesion agriculture in the 21 century.

Perhaps one of the most versatile approaches to learning in practical domains lies in case based reasoning. To date, however, most case based reasoning systems have tended to focus on relatively simple domains. The current study involves the development of a decision support system for a complex production process with a limited database. This paper presents a set of critical issues underlying CBR, then explores their consequences for a complex domain. Finally, the performance of the system is examined for resolving various types of quality control problems.

The personal-computer software program named SAMS(Structural Aging Management System) was developed for the concrete structure of NPP(Nuclear Power Plant). SAMS is constituted of three part, detabase system containing various inspection data, operation program for standard input/output of the inspection data, and application program for efficient operation of database system. Using the SAMS, the field engineers can easily acquire the information about the various inspection data, repair and accidental histories of NPP structures. SAMS will contribute to the effcient maintenance of NPP structures.

현재 온라인 서비스에서 사용되는 원서접수 시스템은 공간의 제약 없이 이용하려는 사용자한테 서비스를 제공 못한다는 단점을 갖고 있다. 이러한 문제점으로 인하여 서서히 E-Commerce에서 M-Commerce로 변화되오 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 DBMS(Database Management System)를 이용하여 무선 원서접수 시스템을 개발했다. 이 시스템은 원서지원자가 공간의 제약 없이 서비스를 제공받을 수가 있고 또한, 동기화 시에만 서버와 접속하기 때문에 네트워크 비용을 절감 시켜준다.
