  • Git's commit messages manage the history of source changes during project progress or operation. By utilizing this historical data, project risks and project status can be identified, thereby reducing costs and improving time efficiency. A lot of research related to this is in progress, and among these research areas, there is research that classifies commit messages as a type of software maintenance. Among published studies, the maximum classification accuracy is reported to be 95%. In this paper, we began research with the purpose of utilizing solutions using the commit classification model, and conducted research to remove the limitation that the model with the highest accuracy among existing studies can only be applied to programs written in the JAVA language. To this end, we designed and implemented an additional step to standardize source change data into natural language using GPT. This text explains the process of extracting commit messages and source change data from Git, standardizing the source change data with GPT, and the learning process using the DistilBERT model. As a result of verification, an accuracy of 91% was measured. The proposed model was implemented and verified to ensure accuracy and to be able to classify without being dependent on a specific program. In the future, we plan to study a classification model using Bard and a management tool model helpful to the project using the proposed classification model.

  • This study analyzed the causal relationship among operating characteristics of commercial freight vehicles, dangerous driving behaviors, and traffic accident risk. The study applied the existing accident cause and prevention theory to arrive at this relationship. Data related to working characteristics of driver, driving experience, driving ability, driving psychology, vehicle characteristics (size), dangerous driving behavior, and traffic accidents were collected from 303 commercial freight vehicle drivers. Working characteristics and dangerous driving behavior data are based on the driver's digital driving record. The traffic accident data is based on the insurance accident data reflecting actual traffic accidents. First, a structural equation model was built and verified using the model fitness index. Then, the developed model was used to analyze the causal relationship between multiple independent and dependent variables simultaneously. Four dangerous driving behaviors (sudden deceleration, sudden acceleration, sudden passing, and sudden stop) were found to be highly related to traffic accidents. The results further indicate that it is necessary to establish a safety management policy and intensive management for small-sized freight vehicles, drivers with insufficient driving ability, and drivers with dangerous driving behaviors. Such policy and management are expected to reduce traffic accidents effectively.

  • As wireless sensor networks become eligible as well as useful in several controled systems where surrounding environments are likely to be monitored, their stabilization become important research challenge. Generally, stabilization is mostly dependent on reliability of sensing value. To achieve such reliability in wireless sensor networks, the most of previous research work have tendency to deploy the same type of multiple sensor units on one node. However, these mechanisms lead to deployment problem by increasing cost of sensor node. Moreover, it may decrease reliability in the operation due to complex design. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a new validation scheme which is based on prediction and frequency value. In the proposed scheme, we take into exceptional cases account, for example, outbreak of fire. Finally, we demonstrate that the proposed scheme can detect abnormal sensing value more than 13 percent as compared to previous work through diverse simulation scenarios.

  • In order to assess the quality and depth of ground densification by compaction, SPT and/or CPT are performed before and after compaction. Both methods are intrusive and one point tests, require a substantial time to evaluate a large area, and their results are quite dependent on the operation technique and soil type. In this paper, the quality and extent of ground densification by compaction was evaluated by using in situ SASW test and laboratory resonant column (RC) test results. SASW test was used to determine the shear wave velocity profiles before and after compaction, and RC test was adopted to determine the correlation between the normalized shear wave velocity and the density of the site, which is almost uniquely independent of confinement. Testing and data reduction procedures of both tests were discussed, and a simplified evaluation procedure of ground densification was proposed. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method was verified by performing field study at Inchon International Airport Project. Field densities determined by the proposed method matched well with those determined by sand cone tests.

  • Chronic postsurgical pain (CPSP) is an unwanted adverse event in any operation. It leads to functional limitations and psychological trauma for patients, and leaves the operative team with feelings of failure and humiliation. Therefore, it is crucial that preventive strategies for CPSP are considered in high-risk operations. Various techniques have been implemented to reduce the risk with variable success. Identifying the risk factors for each patient and applying a timely preventive strategy may help patients avoid the distress of chronic pain. The preventive strategies include modification of the surgical technique, good pain control throughout the perioperative period, and preoperative psychological intervention focusing on the psychosocial and cognitive risk factors. Appropriate management of CPSP patients is also necessary to reduce their suffering. CPSP usually has a neuropathic pain component; therefore, the current recommendations are based on data on chronic neuropathic pain. Hence, voltage-dependent calcium channel antagonists, antidepressants, topical lidocaine and topical capsaicin are the main pharmacological treatments. Paracetamol, NSAIDs and weak opioids can be used according to symptom severity, but strong opioids should be used with great caution and are not recommended. Other drugs that may be helpful are ketamine, clonidine, and intravenous lidocaine infusion. For patients with failed pharmacological treatment, consideration should be given to pain interventions; examples include transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, botulinum toxin injections, pulsed radiofrequency, nerve blocks, nerve ablation, neuromodulation and surgical management. Physical therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and lifestyle modifications are also useful for relieving the pain and distress experienced by CPSP patients.

  • Energy consumption of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems is responsible for about 25 to 30% of the energy demand especially in hot seasons. This equipment is mostly electricity dependent and their use in principle affects negatively the environment. Enhancing the energy efficiency of the existing equipment is important as one of the measures to reduce environment impacts. This paper reports the results of an experimental study to evaluate the impacts of the use electronic expansion valve and variable velocity compressor on the performance of vapor compression refrigeration system. The experimental rig is composed of two independent circuits one for the vapor compression system and the other is the secondary fluid system. The vapor compression system is composed of a forced air condenser unit, evaporator, hermetic compressor and expansion elements, while the secondary system has a pump for circulating the secondary fluid, and an air conditioning heat exchanger. The manufacturer's data was used to determine the optimal points of operation of the system and consequently tests were done to evaluate the influence of variation of the compressor velocity and the opening of the expansion device on the performance of the refrigeration system. A fuzzy logic model was developed to control the rotational velocity of the compressor and the thermal load. Fuzzy control model was made in LabVIEW software with the objective of improving the system performance, stability and energy saving. The results showed that the use of fuzzy logic as a form of control strategy resulted in a better energy efficiency.

  • When any data-centric XML documents are stored and managed in RDBMS, schema extracting from XML Schema is an imminent problem. Furthermore, when they are stored in partitioned way on created table, lots of null values will be produced and/or be increased cost for join, so we need a solution to solve these problems. This paper proposes a Schema Hybrid Inlining technique to generate relational schema of XML documents. The suggested technique creates a relational schema based on the XML Schema graph. Also, the technique expands the legacy Inlining method by manual and heuristic processing table generation method of cardinality and in-degree. Then, an ancestor node, terminal node, and creating a new table on the derived relation in this technique. DTD-dependent storage method uses partitioned storing and relation path element information reformed structured-searching method to reduce joining operation cost that is a weak point of it.

  • In bulding Intelligent Agent Societies (IAS), it is very important to design and implement coordination in accordance with the known requirement and anticipated working conditions. Coordination consists of a set of mechanisms necessary for the effective operation of IAS. Currently, there is little theoretical support that could help in this research is to generate an empirically-based solving systems in which all agent share an identical goal structure and fully cooperate. And we developed a simulation model called "P-System" which produces basic data to be used for statistical analysis to generate a theory of coordination. Coordination among agent in the P-System is dependent on 23 control variables calld TEs(tweakable emtities.)And the level of coordination is represennted by an independent variabe called QMC (Quality Measure Coordination) expressed in numerical terms according tn the definiion of this study. Also, we have studied how to select unbiased subset from the huge total experimental space of the P-System and how to decide the scale of the subset.

  • A natural wetland in the Nakdong River basin which effectively removes non-point source pollutants was investigated for 2 years to understand wetland topography, vegetation types, and water quality characteristics. The water depth of the natural wetland was in the range of 0.5~1.9 m which is suitable for the growth of non-emergent hydrophytes. The wetland has a high length to width ratio (3.3:1) and a relatively large wetland to watershed area ratio (0.057). A broad-crested weir at the outlet increases the retention time of the wetland whose hydrology is mainly dependent on storm events. The concentrations of dissolved oxygen in the growing season and the winter season showed anoxic and oxic conditions, respectively. Diurnal variations of DO and pH in the growing season were also observed due to weather change and submerged plants. COD and TP concentrations were low in the winter season due to low inflow rate and increased retention time. Increased TP concentrations in the spring season were caused by degradation of dead wetland plants. Nitrogen in the wetland was mostly in organic nitrogen form (>75%). During the growing season, ammonium concentration was high but nitrate nitrogen concentration was low, possibly due to anoxic and low pH conditions which are adverse conditions for ammonificaiton and nitrification. The results of this study can be used as preliminary data for design, operation, monitoring and management of a constructed wetland which is designed to treat diffuse pollutants in the Nakdong river watershed.

  • This paper analyzes herd behavior observed in the loan market from 2001 to 2014 using a panel data on commercial banks including state-owned banks, domestic private banks, foreign banks, and Islamic banks. The paper finds evidence that herd behaviors of domestic private and foreign banks have been pronounced and long-lasting around the 2008 global financial crisis when state-owned banks did not show such a behavior. This result shows that since private banks tend to be keen on maximizing profits and avoid financial risks exposed by lending during a financial crisis, their lending decisions are not independent but dependent on whether other banks increase loans or not. On the other hand, Islamic banks do not show herd behavior during the financial crisis. This finding is consistent with earlier studies that Islamic banks have different characteristics, such as profit and operation mechanisms, from other private banks. Another interesting finding is that when it comes to rural loans, all the banks' herd behavior is short-lived and the herding indexes are quite volatile. This finding is attributable to distinct features of rural loans. Usually maturities of rural loans are shorter than city loans and related to the cycle of farming. Agricultural production is heavily dependent on unpredicted factors, such as floods and droughts, not previous year's production. Lastly, the paper finds a herding across bank type that state-owned, foreign, and Islamic banks follow domestic private banks'lending decisions.
