Purpose: A conflict of interest is defined broadly as a scenario in which one's responsibilities and self-interest collide in a manner that has a significant probability of corrupting one's discernments, motivations, actions, desires, values, and judgments. This study aims to investigate various cases of conflict of interest. Research design, data and methodology: Our study used the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) to identify resources. The eligibility of selected prior studies thoroughly was investigated whether they are suitable for the topic of present study. Finally, we collected total 15 previous studies published between 2000 and 2021. Results: Research findings indicate that there are three main cases that might cause a conflict of interest and mandated research ethics education might provide researchers with the tools to identify and battle the temptations and biases provided by conflicts of interest. Researchers could likely be better prepared for conflicts of interest if they investigated the moral difficulties associated with them in advance. Conclusions: Researchers might evade deliberate or unconscious detriment of duties, and also objectivity loss because of the siren song of self-interest by escaping situations whereby they may be tempted to shirk their responsibilities, not to remark the hassles of unveiling conflicts.

Research in interdisciplinary fields like biomechanics is published in a variety of journals whose visibility depends on bibliometric indexing that is often driven by citation analysis of bibliometric databases. This study documented variation in publication metrics and research subject categories assigned to 14 biomechanics journals. Authors, citation, and citation rate (CR) were collected for the top 15 cited articles in the journals retrieved from the Google Scholar service. Research subject categories were also extracted for journals from three databases (Dimensions, Journal Citation Reports, and Scopus). Despite the focus on biomechanics for the journals studied, these biomechanics journals have widely varying CR and subject categories assigned to them. There were significant (p=0.001) and meaningful (77-108%) differences in median CR between average, low, and high CR groups of these biomechanics journals. Since CR are primary data used to calculate most journal metrics and there is no one biomechanics subject category, field normalization for journal citation metrics in biomechanics is difficult. Care must be taken to accurately interpret most citation metrics of biomechanics journals as biased proxies of general usage of research, given a specific database, time frame, and area of biomechanics research.

Objective : This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis on pelvic parameter related research over the last 30 years, analyzing trends, hotspots, and influential works within this field. Methods : A comprehensive Web of Science database search was performed. The search yielded 3249 results, focusing on articles and reviews published from 1992 to 2022 in English. Data was analyzed using CiteSpace and VOSviewer for keyword, authorship, and citation burst analysis, co-citation analysis, and clustering. Results : The number of publications and citations related to pelvic parameters has increased exponentially over the last 30 years. The USA leads in publication count with 1003 articles. Top publishing journals include the European Spine Journal, Spine, and Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, with significant contributions by Schwab, Lafage V, and Protoptaltis. The most influential articles were identified using centrality and sigma values, indicating their role as key articles within the field. Research hotspots included spinal deformity, total hip arthroplasty, and sagittal alignment. Conclusion : Interest in pelvic parameter related research has grown significantly over the last three decades, indicating its relevance in modern orthopedics. The most influential works within this field have contributed to our understanding of spinal deformity, pelvic incidence, and their relation to total hip arthroplasty. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the trends and influential research in the field of pelvic parameters.

본 논문에서는 과학위성 2호의 주 탑재체인 LIST의 Operation에 대한 개념을 소개하고자 한다. LIST는 태양 진공자외선(Lyman-$\alpha$)의 full disk 영상을 획득하고 분석함으로서 채층과 전이영역의 구조와 진화, ‘Quiet Sun’의 진공자외선 복사 변화 모델, 그리고 태양 진공자외선의 복사로 인한 지구 고층 대기의 변화를 밝혀내는 것이 목표이다. 이러한 목표를 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서는 LIST Operation 개념의 정립과 철저한 규정이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구진은 Operation을 크게 두 부분으로 세분하였다. 즉, LIST의 각 구성 요소들이 유기적으로 작용, 목적하는 데이터의 성공적인 획득을 위한 ‘Technical Operation’과 획득된 데이터를 활용하여 효과적으로 분석하고 목적한 과학적 성과를 달성하기 위한 ‘Scientific Operation’으로 구분하여 규정하였다. 또한 효율적인 Data System의 관리를 위해 데이터의 흐름을 ‘LIST Observing System’, ‘LIST Data Acquisition System’, ‘LIST Data Reduction and Analysis’, 그리고 ‘LIST Data Analysis and Publication’의 네 가지 단계로 나누어 Data의 활용 중에 나타날 수 있는 위험들을 최소화 하고자 하였다.

In order to comply with revised national regulationson radiological protection and to implement recent nuclear data and dose conversion factors, KOPEC developed a new point kernel gamma and beta ray shielding analysis computer program. This new code, named VisualShield, adopted mass attenuation coefficient and buildup factors from recent ANSI/ANS standards and flux-to-dose conversion factors from the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) Publication 74 for estimation of effective/equivalent dose recommended in ICRP 60. VisualShieid utilizes graphical user interfaces and 3-D visualization of the geometric configuration for preparing input data sets and analyzing results, which leads users to error free processing with visual effects. Code validation and data analysis were performed by comparing the results of various calculations to the data outputs of previous programs such as MCNP 4B, ISOSHLD-II, QAD-CGGP, etc.

The importance of data publishing in the open-science era is increasing as it can contribute to other scientific discoveries by accelerating the sharing of research data, improving accessibility and citability, and providing standardized technical documentation for research data. In addition, the need for data papers is emerging as a way for data papers to maintain a status equivalent to research papers, and the publication of data journals is on the rise as a new type of scholarly publishing. In particular, the field of Ecology is a field where large-scale research data are produced and managed, thus the data journal publishing in this field is active worldwide. On the other hand, the research on data journal is in its early stages in Korea, and there is no data journal in the field of Ecology. Thus, this study explores and presents strategies for publishing data journals in the ecological field. First, we investigate the publishing status of domestic and international data journals and the publication status of domestic journals. Then, we conducted a focused group interview with experts of scholarly publishing, open access policy and journal publishing in the field of Ecology. Finally, based on the survey and the expert FGI's results, strategies are suggested in terms of publishing data journals in the field of ecology, organizing and publishing journals, organizing journal editors, and receiving manuscripts.

The purpose of this study is to develop a hospice intervention program and present basic study data using a method of Meta analysis. Fifteen theses from 2002 to 2017 were collected from the on-line database at Korean Education and Research Information Service and other journals related hospice. Main keywords were 'hospice' and intervention'. The selected 15 theses were analyzed with publication bias, outcome of effect size, non-overlap percentage(U3), 95% confidence intervals and homogeneity. The result of the study is summarized as follows; Publication bias was stable and the effect size of hospice program was significant at. 99. The effective and significant regulation effects were publication years with 2003 to 2007(ES=1.24), publication types with journals(ES=1.33), majors with nursing sciences(ES=1.02), ages with 29 to 30(ES=1.09), later session(ES=1.06) and aroma(ES=1.12). Accordingly, this thesis has its meaning in that it used a Meta-analysis to analyze domestic theses of hospice intervention programs for the first time in Korea. This thesis will prodide specific guidance to researchers trying to develop and utilize hospice intervention programs resulting in helpful usages in professional hospice institutions with implementations of programs.

The Creation of bibliographic records for conference publication is difficult for catalogers and the records are difficult for patrons to use. We have found many difficulties in cataloging conference publications, because of the insufficiency and ambiguity of the cataloging rule. This study deals with the characteristics, type and data elements of conference publications, and the problems of the choice of heading and the creation of bibliographic records in the USMARC and KORMARC.

This paper discribes the viscous interaction of Hypersonic Wedge Flows using Roe FDS and AUSM+. For this purpose we developed the frozen and the equilibrium code and numerically simulated the viscous interaction by changing the surface temperature and the mach number. We used curve fitting data in NASA Reference Publication 1181, 1260 to calculate equilibrium properties. We compare the equilibrium flow with the frozen flow. We conclude that the mach number and the surface temperature are significant parameters, as the surface temperature and the mach number increase the viscous interaction becomes stronger, and we must consider high-temperature effects in hypersonic flow

The purpose of this paper was to analyze the distribution ratio of citation in researches in food service and found the relationship of study. The result was as follows. First there were remarkably quantitative researches than qualitative researches. Second, the citation ratio of social studies was high according to frequency-analysis. Third, citation frequency of publication was the highest in the pre-study that included scientific papers, newspapers, art and science contest announcement data and so on. Fourth, there was much citation ratio of domestic literature than foreign literature.
