It is very important to measure linear cycle plane positioning accuracy of NC lathes as they affect those of all other machines machined by them in industries. For example, if the linear cycle plane positioning accuracy of each axes directions is bad, the accuracy of works will be wrong and the change-ability will be bad in the assembly of machine parts. In this paper, computer software systems are organized to measure linear displacements of ATC(Automatic tool changer) of NC lathes using linear scale and time pulses comming out from computer in order to get data at constant time intervals from the sensors. And each sets of error data gotten from the test is expressed to plots by computer treatment and the results of linear cycle plane positioning error motion estimated to numerics by statistical treatments.

The current advancement of mobile devices enables users to collect a sequence of user positions by use of the positioning technology and thus the related research regarding positioning or location information are quite arising. An individual mobility model based on positioning data and time data are already established while group mobility model is not done yet. In this research, group mobility model, an extension of individual mobility model, and the process of establishment of group mobility model will be studied. Based on the previous research of group mobility model from two individual mobility model, a group mobility model with more than two individual model has been established and the transition pattern of the model is represented by Markov chain. In consideration of real application, the computing time to establish group mobility mode from huge positioning data has been drastically improved by use of GPGPU comparing to the use of traditional multicore systems.
This study was done to identify the effectiveness of a proper positioning on musculoskeletal complication on patient with Stroke by using a quasi-experimental study. A total of 18 patients were selected as a subject from June 1st to October 31th 1998 who had been hospitalized at Intensive Care Units in K medical center. A experimental group consists of 8 patients who were given proper positioning every two hours. A control group consists of 10 patients who were given traditional positioning. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS windows including $X^2$-test (Fisher's exact method), Wilcoxon Rank Sum test and McNemar test. The result of this study was summerized as follows : 1) The experimental group with proper positioning has shown lower shoulder pain score, dorsiflexion contracture score, Shoulder subluxation score and higher Range of Motion and than the control group. 2) The experimental group with proper positioning has shown lower muscle pain score and edema score than the control group, but it was not statistically significant. Therefore, proper positioning could be applied as an independent nursing intervent ion for patients on Stroke in order to facilitate rehabilitation.

In this paper, the analysis results are shown about several weights of Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor method, Recently, it is employed for the indoor positioning technologies using WiFi fingerprint which has been actively studied. In spite of the simplest feature, the W-KNN method shows comparable performance to another methods using WiFi fingerprint technology. So W-KNN method has employed in the existing indoor positioning system. It shows positioning error performance according to data preprocessing and weight factor, and the analysis on the weight is very important. In this paper, based on the real measured WiFi fingerprint data, the estimation error is analyzed and the performances are compared, for the case of data processing methods, of the weight of average, variance, and distance, and of the averaging several position of number K. These results could be practically useful to construct the real indoor positioning system.

The object positional data in the form of digital imagery is processed and stored and is updated easily. The GPS, positioning system using satellites, is acquired its utilities in many parts because it is very easy to get the three dimensional coordinates using GPS around the world. For the effective acquisition of positional data to-ward objects in space, the automation of digital photogrammetry must be done and data acquisition and processing should be performed in real-time. In this study, the program is developed for automatic process of digital photogrammetry and the VAN that has CCD cameras and GPS receivers onboard is built for mobile positioning system. Also, the three dimensional positioning toward 20 objects which are vertical to the ground is done using left and right imagery of CCD cameras and GPS. For a base research in real-time photogrammetry, the three dimensional positioning is performed using continuous imagery and GPS and the three dimensional positioning accuracy is analyzed.

Since the facility management for various facilities in urban area are conducted by general managers who have poor knowledge for surveying technology, it is not easy to trace the exact location of the facility in a short time with the GIS map only by themselves in the field. In order to improve it, VRS-RTK or SBAS DGPS system integrated with UMPC and PDA which is uploaded GIS field software are being used recently however lot of difficulties are still existed with the GPS positioning in urban area due to the lack of visible satellites, no reception of correction data and multipath error by the interruption of the high buildings and houses etc. Therefore, in this study, we applied with Network DGPS system which allows better reception of satellite signal and correction data even in dense housing areas with the use of GNSS receiver and CDMA mobile phone. Based on the analysis of field data, it was confirmed that standard deviations of the Network DGPS positioning are 0.3 to 0.84m with a very high positioning rate even in dense housing areas. Therefore, it was concluded that the Network DGPS system could be used widely to fast and accurate positioning for various facilities management works in dense housing areas in the future.
We have developed Real-time Phase DAta processor(RPDAP) for GPS L1 carrie. And also, we tested the RPDAP's positioning accuracy compared with results of real time kinematic(RTK) positioning. While quality of the conventional L1 RTK positioning highly depend on receiving condition, the RPDAP can gives more stable positioning result because of different set of common GPS satellites, which searched by elevation mask angle and signal strength. In this paper, we demonstrated characteristics of the RPDAP compared with the L1 RTK technique. And we discussed several improvement ways to apply the RPDAP to precise real-time positioning using low-cost GPS receiver. With correcting the discussed weak points in new future, the RPDAP will be used in the field of precise real-time application, such as precise car navigation and precise personal location services.

The development of the Global Positioning System was one of the most significant technical advancements in the surveying fields during the 1980's. In recent years, the use of GPS techniques are increased because of the improvements of receiver design and the data analysis, and the greater accuracy. In this paper, the static positioning with special linear combinations of data is reviewed and some experiences of dual-frequency P-code/phase receivers are discussed. The test results of Wild GPS System-200 show that the highest accuracies of 1ppm are obtainable on baselines of 7km/37km and the positional accuracies of 10m, which is applicable to determination of initial coordinates, are also possible on point-positioning of P-code measurements.
For safety navigation of ships at sea, ships monitor their location obtained from Global Positioning Satellite System (GNSS). In this study, we computed near-real-time positions of a ship at sea using GPS Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technique and analyzed precision of the near-real-time positions. We conducted ship borne GPS observations in the south sea of Korea. To process the GPS data using PPP technique, GIPSY-OASIS (GPS Inferred Positioning System-Orbit Analysis and Simulation Software) developed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory was used. Antenna phase center variations, ocean tidal loading displacements, and azimuthal gradients of the atmosphere were corrected or estimated as standard procedures of high-precision GIPSY-OASIS data processing. As a result, the precisions of near-real-time positions was ~1cm.
Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) is a phase-based differential GNSS technique and uses additional observations from permanent reference stations to mitigate or eliminate effects like atmospheric delays or satellite clocks and orbit errors. In particular, as the position accuracy required in the fields of autonomous vehicles and drones is gradually increasing, the demand for RTK-based precise navigation that can provide cm-level position is increasing. Recently, with the rapid growth of the open-source software market, the use of open-source software for building navigation system of unmanned vehicles, which is difficult to mount an expensive GNSS receivers, is gradually increasing. RTKLIB is an open-source software package that can perform RTK positioning and is widely used for research and education purposes. However, since the performance and stability of RTK algorithm of RTKLIB is inevitably inferior to that of commercial GNSS receivers, users need to verify whether RTKLIB can satisfy the navigation performance requirements of unmanned vehicles. Therefore, in this paper, the performance evaluation of the RTK positioning algorithm of RTKLIB was performed using GNSS observation data acquired in a dynamic environment. Therefore, in this paper, the RTK positioning performance of RTKLIB was evaluated using GNSS observation data acquired in a dynamic environment. Our results show that the current RTK algorithm of RTKLIB is not suitable for precise navigation of unmanned vehicles.
