In recent years, mechanized construction has become commonplace due to increases in the scale and complexity of construction, and construction machinery is a major factor in successful construction. However, even though the proportion of construction machinery is increasing, analysis of the work capacity of construction machinery is inadequate. In addition, since the standards for all construction machines are currently not defined in quantity-per-unit, the construction period is arbitrarily applied according to the operator at the time of the construction plan. As a result, the construction period of the actual construction is insufficient, and rushed work or construction delays occur. Therefore, in this study, in order to calculate the construction period of the piling work of the pile driver used in the PRD method more accurately than the existing method, the formula for calculating the time required for the piling work of the pile driver was established by collecting piling time data from the daily task reports through the field survey. If the precise construction period of piling work is estimated based on the results of this study, it will be possible to prevent the rushed work and construction delays that occur due to the short construction period.
The World Wide Web is transitioning from being a mere collection of documents that contain useful information toward providing a collection of services that perform useful tasks. The emerging Web service technology has been envisioned as the next technological wave and is expected to play an important role in this recent transformation of the Web. By providing interoperable interface standards for application-to-application communication, Web services can be combined with component based software development to promote application interaction both within and across enterprises. To make Web services for service-oriented computing operational, it is important that Web service repositories not only be well-structured but also provide efficient tools for developers to find reusable Web service components that meet their needs. As the potential of Web services for service-oriented computing is being widely recognized, the demand for effective Web service discovery mechanisms is concomitantly growing. A number of public Web service repositories have been proposed, but the Web service taxonomy generation has not been satisfactorily addressed. Unfortunately, most existing Web service taxonomies are either too rudimentary to be useful or too hard to be maintained. In this paper, we propose a Web service taxonomy generation framework that combines an artificial neural network based clustering techniques with descriptive label generating and leverages the semantics of the XML-based service specification in WSDL documents. We believe that this is one of the first attempts at applying data mining techniques in the Web service discovery domain. We have developed a prototype system based on the proposed framework using an unsupervised artificial neural network and empirically evaluated the proposed approach and tool using real Web service descriptions drawn from operational Web service repositories. We report on some preliminary results demonstrating the efficacy of the proposed approach.

This study selected landscaping-related precedents among Supreme Court decisions to which the Basic Construction Industry Act and Civil Litigation Act were applied, and divided them by year, by sector type, and by litigation type according to the cause of the litigation, and examined time-series trends and the main characteristics of landscaping-related litigation. As a result of the analysis by year, it became apparent that litigation cases began to appear in earnest in 1977, similar to when landscape licenses were first issued. The types according to the cause of the litigation were analyzed by dividing them into 'planning', 'construction', and 'management'. Among them, 'planning' was the most frequently identified (409 cases). Various precedents were searched according to 'construction', and some of them were found to be due to unclear legal standards related to landscaping. In 'management', cases such as safety accidents and crimes were considered. The users, legal definitions, and purposes of the space served as the basis for judgments. As a result of analysis by case type, there were many administrative landscaping-related cases, and the proportion of criminal cases in the management type was the highest. The results of this study looked at precedents across the entire landscape industry, and it was significant that it provides basic data that could be used by the general public as that they were categorized by field. In the future, amendments to the law and various studies should be conducted to reduce and resolve disputes, and it is necessary to expand the publicity of precedents for this purpose.
Objectives : This study has attempted to establish an organized system for the microbiological quality of raw materials which are important factors in preparing the standard for microbial limits. Methods : This study has first set up microbial contamination limit test. total aerobic microbial count and total fungi count, int accordance with testing method of the Korea Pharmacopeia 8th edition in order to establish an inspection standard for microbial contamination. Results : The microbial contamination of 18 items that are highly prone to contamination by three regions(Seoul, Daejeon, Gyeongsangbuk-do), As a result, Morus alba Linne and Rehmannia glutimosa Liboschitz var. purpurea Makino showed as high contaminated by WHO's Microbial Contamination Limit standard. In case of Yukjin medicine in the Theory of Herb Medicinal Properties, total bacterial contamination rate showed as 17.7%, total fungal contamination rate showed as 41.2% and total aerobic mircobial count and total fungi count on Ephedra sinica Stapf. Pinellia ternate Breitenbach, Evodia officinalis Dode showed as high measured. The microbial conatmination rate materials which make up Yukmijihwanghwan were mostly high therefore the total aerobic microbial count was measured as high in case of Yukmijihwanghwan, the characteristics about microbial contamination strain is to be researched. Conclusions : By combining the basic data and experimental results related to microbial contamination of herb medicine, the most ideal storage standards for herb medicine has been attempted to be presented.

This study was conducted to investigate feasibility of feedstuff for animal using food waste by fermentation mechanism of indigenous microorganism. To achieve this purpose, indigenous bacteria was isolated from soils to use as an inoculant. Enzyme test was performed to verify activity of amylase, protease and lipase using isolated bacteria. Bacteria(H1, D1), which vigorously express the enzyme activity, was selected and used in the fermentation experiments of food waste. From the analysis of 16s rDNA sequencing, H1 and D1 were identified as Bacillus subtilis and Paenibacillus polymyxa, respectively. In the fermentation experiment, food waste was mixed with rice bran and popped rice to control moisture and nutrient content. Isolated bacteria(B. subtilis and P. polymyxa) was used as an inoculant. From the measured data such as temperature, pH and ORP, it can be verified that food waste adding the indigenous bacteria was effectively fermented. From the nutritional analysis of manufactured feedstuff, it showed that the contents of crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber were enough to use as feedstuff for animal. In addition, harmful components such as Pb, Hg, Cd, aflatoxin and salmonella concentration were not exceeded permitted standards. Therefore, fermented food waste using indigenous bacteria can be used as feedstuff.

The purpose of this study is to identify the possibility of effective tuning works, understand the characteristics of tuning engine, and analyse the basic data of engine tuning inspection corresponding to the safe operation and environment of a driving gasoline car. The effects of tuning on the characteristics of performance and exhaust emissions under a wide range of engine speeds are experimentally investigated by the actual driving car with a four-cycle, four-cylinder DOHC, turbo-intercooler, water-cooled gasoline engine operating at four types of non-tuning, tuning 1, 2 and 3. The tuning parts in the gasoline engine are the intake manifold, intake pipe and air filter. In the experiment, the output, torque and air-fuel ratio of the five-speed automatic transmission vehicles were measured at the chassis dynamometer(Dynojet 224xLC) with one person on board. The exhaust emissions of $NO_X$, THC, CO, $O_2$ and $CO_2$, and excess air ratio(${\lambda}$) at the other chassis dynamometer(DASAN-MD-ASM-97-KR-HD) were also measured by the idle/constant-speed mode(ASM2525 mode) test method. It is found that the actual air-fuel ratios of non-tuning and tuning engines were shown to be lower than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio with increasing engine speed, and the actual air-fuel ratio of non-tuning engine was slightly higher than those of tuning engines when the engine speed is more than 4000 rpm. The output was significantly increased by the tuning whereby the maximum output of tuning engine was more increased to approximately 117.64% than that of non-tuning engine. In addition, CO, THC and $NO_X$ emissions of non-tuning and tuning engines measured by the constant-speed test mode were all satisfied with the inspection standards. CO emission was increased, while THC and $NO_X$ emissions were reduced by tuning.

In South Korea, the results of R&D in science and technology are submitted to the National Science and Technology Information Service (NTIS) in reports that have Korea national science and technology standard classification codes (K-NSCC). However, considering there are more than 2000 sub-categories, it is non-trivial to choose correct classification codes without a clear understanding of the K-NSCC. In addition, there are few cases of automatic document classification research based on the K-NSCC, and there are no training data in the public domain. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first attempt to build a highly performing K-NSCC classification system based on NTIS report meta-information from the last five years (2013-2017). To this end, about 210 mid-level categories were selected, and we conducted preprocessing considering the characteristics of research report metadata. More specifically, we propose a convolutional neural network (CNN) technique using only task names and keywords, which are the most influential fields. The proposed model is compared with several machine learning methods (e.g., the linear support vector classifier, CNN, gated recurrent unit, etc.) that show good performance in text classification, and that have a performance advantage of 1% to 7% based on a top-three F1 score.

In domestic construction sites, when installing steel pipe scaffolding and system scaffolding, the guardrails are installed after the installation of the work platforms. This conventional guardrail system (CGS) is always exposed to the risk of falls because the safety railing is installed later. In order to prevent fall disasters during erecting and dismantling scaffolds, it is necessary to introduce the advanced guardrail system (AGS) which installs railings in advance of climbing onto a work platform. For the introduction of the AGS, the structural performance of the system scaffolding applying the CGS and the AGS was compared and evaluated. The structural analysis of the system scaffold (height: 31 m and width: 27.4 m) with AGS confirmed that structural safety was ensured because the maximum stress of each element of the system scaffolding satisfies the allowable stress of each element. As a result of performance comparison of CGS and AGS for each element, the combined stress ratio of vertical posts in AGS was 6.4% lower than that of CGS. In addition, in the case of ledger and transom, the combined stress ratios of AGS and CGS were almost the same. The compression test of the assembled system scaffolding (three-storied, 1 bay) showed that the AGS had better performance than the CGS by 9.7% (8.91 kN). The cross bracing exceeds the limit on slenderness ratio of codes for structural steel design. But the safety factor for the compressive load of the cross bracing was evaluated as meeting the design criteria by securing 3 or more. In actual experiments, it was confirmed that brace buckling did not occur even though the overall scaffold was buckled. Therefore, in the case of temporary structures, it was proposed to revise the standards for limiting on slenderness ratio of secondary or auxiliary elements to recommendations. This study can be used as basic data for the introduction of AGS for installing guardrails in advance at domestic construction sites.
AtoN Accident causes navigation dangerous to ships and reduces the credibility of aids to navigation. The most light buoys on the sea have the highest accident rate from the influence of sea weather such as wind, current, and waves. However, in Korea, despite the different sea weather conditions in each sea area, in calculating the dynamic stability of the light buoy, there is a problem that only limit value conditions are applied to all sea areas. Thus, the purpose of this study was to analyze the dynamic stability of the LL-26(M) light buoy, the most installed buoy of its kind on the sea and suggest a stable operation plan for the LL-26(M) light buoy. To achieve this, after analyzing the weather for each sea area of the previous study related to the light buoy, the dynamic stability (inclination angle) was estimated by applying to the representative light buoys of each sea area wherein the number of accidents caused by sea weather was high. As a result of this study, the inclination angle of LL-26(M) light buoy for each sea area was different. That is, the inclination angle caused by winds was 10.329°-36.868°, the inclination angle caused by currents was 0.123°-18.834° and the inclination angle caused by waves was 4.777°-20.695°. The results of study can be used as basic data useful for installation standards for each sea area for stable operation of the LL-26(M) light buoy.

Although distortions of horizontally curved box girder are more susceptible than which of the straight girder due to curvature effect, current domestic design standards does not present spacing of intermediate diaphragms for the curved box girder. In this study, parametric studies for straight and curved box girder considering distortional warping normal stresses based on linear finite element analysis were carried out. Single span curved girders were chosen for analysis based on current domestic bridge data with 1-6 of solid intermediate diaphragms, 0-30 degree of subtended angle, 30m and 60m of span length and 2-3m of flange width and web height. The adequate spacing of diaphragms for the box girder were suggested considering subtended angles and bending and distortional warping normal stress ratios with 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The analysis results were also compared to a current design standard and suggested spacing of diaphragm were evaluated.
