In semantic annotation, semantic concepts are linked to natural language. Semantic annotation helps in boosting the ability to search and access resources and can be used in information retrieval systems to augment the queries from the user. In the research described in this paper, we aimed to identify ontological concepts in scientific text contained in spreadsheets. We developed a tool that can handle various types of spreadsheets. Furthermore, we used the NCBO Annotator API provided by BioPortal to enhance the semantic annotation functionality to cover spreadsheet data. Table2Annotation has strengths in certain criteria such as speed, error handling, and complex concept matching.

월드와이드웹(World Wide Web)의 발전과 더불어 지리정보시스템(GIS)은 웹사이트를 통한 공간 데이터의 접근에 대해 많은 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이러한 진보는 지리정보 산업이 단순한 공간자료 전달이 아닌 지식과 정보를 전달하는 새로운 단계로 성장한 것을 의미하며, 또한 공공의 목적뿐만 아니라 민간분야의 사업에 활용되어 부가가치를 높이는 계기가 되었다. 웹을 이용한 지리정보 유통에 대한 관심의 증가로 등장한 geoportal은 유럽의 여러 선진국과 미국 등에서 지역적 국가적 세계적인 범위의 공간정보 관리를 위하여 연구되고 있다. 본 연구는 유럽과 미국 등 기존의 통합유통체계에 대한 사례조사를 통해 우리의 geoportal 아키텍처를 제시하였다. 아키텍처는 Web portal, Web service, Data management를 구성요소로 하여 상호운용을 위한 미들웨어에 대해 논의한다.

Customer value is the source for competitive advantage of online businesses such as Internet shopping malls and portal service. It is important to analyze the relationship between customer value and repurchase in order to provide a guideline of successful online business. The purpose of this paper is to get answers for the following questions. First, what are key components of customer value in online business？ Second, What difference exists in the importance or expectance of customer value and its current service level of online business？ Finally, what influence relationships exist in customer value and repurchase intentions？ Data collected from 615 respondents who experienced purchase on the Internet shopping malls were used to test a research model.

The research was carried out at the electronic Gw-mart located at Gangwon province. The secondary data and the various other reference materials were used for the research. This research brings forth the concrete activation plan for the activation of an electronic market in the Gangwon province. So, the activation plan for an e-market at Gang won can be done in six ways, first result of the undertaken research achieved in six ways- first, concentration has to be laid on the internet portal sites, second, the local sites should be well connected with the shopping mall facilities, third, a trustworthy shopping mall has to be established by maintains the product quality and quantity, fourth, a visible distinction should be made between the various products, fifth, the division of labor must be specified and a provisions should be made for a efficient after service.

IT and e-business is a hot issue of the world business and economic communities. The web site is the portal through which most of electronic transactions are conducted today. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate on factors influencing the web site development at the firms in Korea. Survey questionnaires were distributed via email & post to 281 firms that have implemented web site. Out of 44 responded questionnaires, 39 data sets were available for statistical analysis with SPPSSWin 10.1. Factor analysis identified five dimensions of web site development : (1) support of top management, (2) information technologies maturity, (3) strategic utilization of web site, (4) strength of rivalry among competing firm, (5) support policy of the government. Results of this study show that information technologies maturity and strategic utilization of web site positively influence on web site development. But support of top management, strength of rivalry among competing firm and support policy of the government don't influence on web site development. This study may provide a guideline to improve the quality of web site development.

현재까지 e-비즈니스와 관련된 많은 자료들과 솔루션들이 발표되었지만 기업을 위한 e-비즈니스 환경에 IT 기술을 접목시켜 기업의 내부의 IT 기술과 솔루션에 대한 연구가 활발하지 않은 듯 하다. e-비즈니스의 유형은 기업과 고객(B2C), 기업과 기업(B2B), 국가와 기업(G2B), 국가와 국가(G2G) 등으로 세분화 할 수 있으나, 가장 중심적 역할을 하는 주체는 기업 조직이라고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 많은 e-비즈니스의 구현 기반 기술 중에서 기업 내부 측면의 e-비즈니스 구현 기반기술과 관련된 IT 기술들은 전사적 자원관리를 위한 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)와 지식 기반의 정보 분석을 위한 DW/CRM(Data Warehouse/ Customer Relationship Management), 기업내부의 정보 통로인 EIP(Enterprise Information Portal}, 기업내부의 이기종 어플리케이션간의 통합을 위한 EAI(Enterprise Application Integration)와 경영층의 전략적인 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 SEM(Strategy Executive Management), 확장 ERP 개념인 SCM(Supply Chain Management) 기술에 대한 개념적 이해와 기업내부의 e-비즈니스 환경을 위한 적용방안을 밝히고 각 IT별 솔루션의 분류함에 의해 기업의 e-비즈니스 시스템의 구현 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

본 논문은 생물다양성데이터 네트워크 구축에 필요한 국내외의 생물다양성데이터 표준형식과 프로토콜 등을 소개하고 지리적으로 분산된 국내 생물다양성데이터를 통합 검색하여 활용 할 수 있는 방법과 국내생물다양성데이터의 검색포탈을 어떻게 구축하였는지 설명한다. 다음으로 포탈구축에 사용된 데이터 표준, 데이터 교환 프로토콜, 시스템 아키텍쳐 그리고 소프트웨어 구성요소에 대해 설명하고 끝으로 검색포탈이 원활이 운영되어지기 위해 데이터 소유기관 등에서 필요한 활동과 생물다양성데이터 검색포탈 구축의 결과 및 기대효과 등에 서술한다.

The study suggests an answer to the question of what determines category diversification of Internet portals in Korea. First, as external factors, competition intensity and market growth are hypothesized to have influence on the degree of category diversification. Second, an internal factor, user loyalty to portals, is hypothesized to influence negatively category diversification. The study performed empirical analysis based on weekly portal-specific panel data of eighteen internet portals in Korea during the period between 2001 and 2004. The result shows that category diversification increases as competition intensity increases, and that category diversification decreases as user loyalty increases. There was no effect of market-level growth rate on category diversification.

Aberrant DNA methylation, as an epigenetic marker of cancer, influences tumor development and progression. We downloaded publicly available DNA methylation and gene expression datasets of matched cancer and normal pairs from the Cancer Genome Atlas Data Portal and performed a systematic computational analysis. This study has three aims to screen genes that show hypermethylation and downregulated patterns in colorectal cancers, to identify differentially methylated regions in one of these genes, SFRP1, and to test whether the SFRP genes affect survival or not. Our results show that 31 hypermethylated genes had a negative correlation with gene expression. Among them, SFRP1 had a differentially methylated pattern at each methylation site. We also show that SFRP1 may be a potential biomarker for colorectal cancer survival.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to review and summarize the research on a burn. Methods : We reviewed 16 studies about burn which were relative to oriental medicine. We selected those studies from Korean studies Information Service System and Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal. Result : Selected 16 studies were divided into 12 trial articles, 3 case reports and 1 review article. Most of studies reported that oriental medical treatment of burn were effective. Conclusion : Further studies needed for burn and more clinical data would be needed to prove the effects of oriental medical treatment in burn.
