  • The demands of analysis for the physical errors of systems and prediction system using this has increased steadily with computing environment growth linking real system just like IT Convergence. The physical errors are unpredictable because of relations of various elements such as natural phenomenon and mechanical errors. Especially, the elevator system occurs various problems because of the complexity of system so that we need to efficient approach for this. In this paper, we propose the analysis and management system for elevator based on data minining that predict the error to gather information about physical or natural phenomenon. This helps actively responding in early stage and saving lives through prediction of error and an early warning for just such an eventuality.

  • A role of cost modeler is that of facilitating design process by the systematic application of cost factors so as to maintain sensible and economic relationships between cost, quantity, utility and appearance. These relationships help to achieve the client's requirements within an agreed budget. The purpose of this study is to develop a parametric cost estimating model for the early design stage by using the multi-dimensional system of OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) based on the case of quantity data related to architectural design features. The parametric cost estimating models have been adopted to support decision making in the early design stage. These models typically use a similar instance or a pattern of historical case. In order to effectively use this type of data model, it is required to set data classification and prediction methods. One of the methods is to find the similar class in line with attribute selection measure in the multi-dimensional data model. Therefore, this research is to analyze the relevance attribute influenced by architectural design features with the subject of case-based quantity data used for the parametric cost estimating model. The relevance attributes can be analyzed by Analytical Characterization. It helps determine what attributes to be included in the OLAP multi-dimension.

  • Semantic web is utilized to construct advanced information service by using semantic relationships between entities. Text mining can be applied to generate semantic relationships from unstructured data resources. In this study, ontology schema guideline, ontology instance generation, disambiguation of same name by text mining and advanced historical people finding service by reasoning have been proposed. Various relationships between historical event, organization, people, which are created by domain experts, are linked to literatures of National Institute of Korean History (NIKH). It improves the effectiveness of user access and proposes advanced people finding service based on relationships. In order to distinguish between people with the same name, we compares the structure and edge, nodes of personal social network. To provide additional information, external resources including thesaurus and web are linked to all of internal related resources as well.
