Speaker Change Detection (SCD) refers to finding the moment when the main speaker changes from one person to the next in a speech conversation. In speaker change detection, difficulties arise due to overlapping speakers, inaccuracy in the information labeling, and data imbalance. To solve these problems, TIMIT corpus widely used in speech recognition have been concatenated artificially to obtain a sufficient amount of training data, and the detection of changing speaker has performed after identifying overlapping speakers. In this paper, we propose an speaker change detection system that considers the speaker overlapping. We evaluated and verified the performance using various approaches. As a result, a detection system similar to the X-Vector structure was proposed to remove the speaker overlapping region, while the Bi-LSTM method was selected to model the speaker change system. The experimental results show a relative performance improvement of 4.6 % and 13.8 % respectively, compared to the baseline system. Additionally, we determined that a robust speaker change detection system can be built by conducting related studies based on the experimental results, taking into consideration text and speaker information.
The western coast of South Korea is famous for its large and broad tidal lands. Nevertheless, land reclamation, which has been conducted on a large scale, such as Sihwa embankment construction project has accelerated coastal environmental changes in the embankment inland. For monitoring of environmental change, vegetation change detecting of the embankment inland were carried out and field survey data compared with Landsat TM, ETM+, IKONOS, and EOC satellite remotely sensed data. In order to utilize multi-temporal remotely sensed images effectively, all data set with pixel size were analyzed by same geometric correction method. To detect the tidal land vegetation change, the spectral characteristics and spatial resolution of Landsat TM and ETM+ images were analyzed by SMA(spectral mixture analysis). We obtained the 78.96% classification accuracy and Kappa index 0.2376 using March 2000 Landsat data. The SMA(spectral mixture analysis) results were considered with comparing of vegetation seasonal change detection method.

Change detection has been recognized as one of the most important steps to update city models. In this study, we thus propose a method to detect urban changes from two sets of LIDAR data acquired at different times. The main processes in the proposed method are (1) detecting change areas through subtraction between two DSMs generated from the LIDAR sets, (2) organizing the LIDAR points within the detected areas into surface patches, (3) classifying the class of each patch such as ground, vegetation, and building, and (4) determining the kinds of changes based on the properties and classes of the patches. The results which were obtained from the application of the proposed method to real data were verified as appropriate using the reference data manually acquired from the visual inspection of the orthoimages of the same area. The probability of success in change detection is assessed to 97% on an average. In conclusion, the proposed method is evaluated as a reliable, and efficient approach to change detection and thus the update of city model.
Video is an important and challenge media and requires sophisticated indexing schemes for efficient retrieval from visual databases. Scene change detection is the first step for automatic indexing of video data. Recently, several scene change detection algorithms in the pixel and compressed domains have been reported in the literature. However, using pixel methods are computationally complex and are not very robust in detecting scene change detection. In this paper, we propose robust abrupt scene change detection using macroblock type and DC coefficient. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is robust for detection of most abrupt scene changes in the compressed domain.

This article suggests integrated neural network models for the interest rate forecasting using change point detection. The basic concept of proposed model is to obtain intervals divided by change point, to identify them as change-point groups, and to involve them in interest rate forecasting. the proposed models consist of three stages. The first stage is to detect successive change points in interest rate dataset. The second stage is to forecast change-point group with data mining classifiers. The final stage is to forecast the desired output with BPN. Based on this structure, we propose three integrated neural network models in terms of data mining classifier: (1) multivariate discriminant analysis (MDA)-supported neural network model, (2) case based reasoning (CBR)-supported neural network model and (3) backpropagation neural networks (BPN)-supported neural network model. Subsequently, we compare these models with a neural networks (BPN)-supported neural network model. Subsequently, we compare these models with a neural network model alone and, in addition, determine which of three classifiers (MDA, CBR and BPN) can perform better. This article is then to examine the predictability of integrated neural network models for interest rate forecasting using change-point detection.
In this paper we expanded a existing web based B2B system to support users in low speed network. To guarantee shared dat a consistency between clients and a server, we proposed a method of data change detection by using a time stamp tree and the performance analysis of the proposed method was proved by a simulation. Under the worst condition that leaf nodes of a times tamp tree were changed uniform distribution, the simulation result showed that the proposed method was more efficient than a sequential detection until the percentage of changed nodes were below $15\%$. According to our observation, the monthly average of data change was below $7\%$ on a web-based construction MRO B2B system or a company A from April 2004 to August 2004. Therefore the Proposed method improved performance of data change detection in practice. The proposed method also reduced storage consumption in a server because it didn't require a server to store replicated data for every client.

In this paper, we propose the unsupervised change detection algorithm that apply the similarity measure techniques to the hyperspectral image. The general similarity measures including euclidean distance and spectral angle were compared. The spectral similarity scale algorithm for reducing the problems of those techniques was studied and tested with Hyperion data. The thresholds for detecting the change area were estimated through EM(Expectation-Maximization) algorithm. The experimental result shows that the similarity measure techniques and EM algorithm can be applied effectively for the unsupervised change detection of the hyperspectral data.
With the increase of mass contents data, a method of a scene change detection is required for analysis, indexing and editing. Although many researchers are studying a variety of scene change detection method, it is too difficult to accurately detect various movements of the cameras and scene changes. Also, earlier scene change detection methods take too much time to apply to UHD video contents. That is because the UHD video contents with 4K (3820x2160) resolution or higher have greater amount of data. Therefore a method for detecting a scene change by using the next-generation codec, HEVC, is required. In this paper, we propose four scene change detection methods using the coding additional information of HEVC, and a new pixel-based scene change detection system. Furthermore, through the experimental results, we check the possibility of detecting the scene changes of UHD videos encoded in HEVC format.
Speaker change detection involves the identification of time indices of an audio stream, where the identity of the speaker changes. In this paper, we propose novel measures for the speaker change detection based on a graph-partitioning criterion over the pairwise distance matrix of feature-vector stream. Experiments on both synthetic and real-world data were performed and showed that the proposed approach yield promising results compared with the conventional statistical measures.
Collective traffic data (BPS, PPS etc.) for detection against the distributed denial of service attack on network is the time sequencing big data. The algorithm to detect the change point in the big data should be accurate and exceed in detection time and detection capability. In this work, the sliding window and discretization method is used to detect the change point in the big data, and propose five nonparametric test statistics using empirical distribution functions and ranks. With various distribution functions and their parameters, the detection time and capability including the detection delay time and the detection ratio for five test methods are explored and discussed via monte carlo simulation and illustrative examples.
