  • The latest global COVID-19 pandemic has made the use of facial masks an important aspect of our lives. People are advised to cover their faces in public spaces to discourage illness from spreading. Using these face masks posed a significant concern about the exactness of the face identification method used to search and unlock telephones at the school/office. Many companies have already built the requisite data in-house to incorporate such a scheme, using face recognition as an authentication. Unfortunately, veiled faces hinder the detection and acknowledgment of these facial identity schemes and seek to invalidate the internal data collection. Biometric systems that use the face as authentication cause problems with detection or recognition (face or persons). In this research, a novel model has been developed to detect and recognize faces and persons for authentication using scale invariant features (SIFT) for the whole segmented face with an efficient local binary texture features (DLBP) in region of eyes in the masked face. The Fuzzy C means is utilized to segment the image. These mixed features are trained significantly in a convolution neural network (CNN) model. The main advantage of this model is that can detect and recognizing faces by assigning weights to the selected features aimed to grant or provoke permissions with high accuracy.

  • In this study, in relation to blockchain protocol and network security, we study the configuration of blockchain and encryption key management methods on smart contracts so that we can have a strong level of response to MITM attacks and DoS/DDoS attacks. It is expected that the use of blockchain technology with enhanced security can be activated through respond to data security threats such as MITM through encryption communication protocols and enhanced authentication, node load balancing and distributed DDoS attack response, secure coding and vulnerability scanning, strengthen smart contract security with secure consensus algorithms, access control and authentication through enhanced user authentication and authorization, strengthen the security of cores and nodes, and monitoring system to update other blockchain protocols and enhance security.

  • While the internet has evolved in terms of information sharing and efficiency, it is still prone to security attacks and remains vulnerable even when equipped with a security mechanism. Repeated patching against hacks involves excessive wear of system equipment and high costs. Methods of improving network security include the introduction of security equipment and network partitions, but they have not been fully effective. A fundamental solution is the Operation Content Network (OCN), which enables the strengthening of authentication. In this paper, Instead of following the existing TCP/IP system, OCN establishes an immunity-based security system through content-centric communications. Data transmission occurs over a Content Centric Network (CCN), which is provided with a protocol verified by the CCNx group. Areas protected by OCN rely only on CCN for communication without using any IP. As such, it defends the system against unknown attacks, including zero-day attacks.

  • We investigate here problems related to a subscriber authentication protocol in CDPD, and suggest an improved alternative. Associated with an anonymity of the subscriber, another method of generating the distributing alias is proposed other than the conventional approach initiated by an authentication server in this home network.

  • In this paper, we propose 3-factor mobile banking authentication scheme applied to face recognition techniques with existing certificate and OTP. An image of the user's face is captured by smart phone camera and its brightness processing of the contour of a face and background by n of X and Y points. Then, distance between the point of eyes, nose and mouth from captured user's face are compared with stored facial features. When the compared results corresponding to the data that stored in a face recognition DB, the user is authenticated.

  • This paper studies an Authentication sheme which is used polynomial equation over GF(2n)for reducing time to authenticate sender and his message in secret data communication. Also in order to maintain strong secrecy, this scheme use interactive Zero-knowledge proof protocol for generating information of sender's authentication via unprotected communication channel.

  • Applications of Internet of Things (IoT) supply various conveniences, however unsolved security problems such as personal privacy, data manipulation cause harm to persons, even nations and an limit the applicable areas of Internet of IoT technology. Therefore, study about secure and efficient security system on IoT are required. This paper proposes ID-based remote user authentication scheme in IoT environments. Proposed scheme provides untraceability of users by using different pseudonym identities in every session and reduces the number of variables. Our proposal is secure against inside attack, smart card loss attack, user impersonation attack, server masquerading attack, online/offline password guessing attack, and so on. Therefore, this can be applied to the lightweight IoT environments.

  • The user authentication on the security applications is one of the most important process. Because character based password is commonly used for user authentication, it is most important to protect the keyboard. Due to the reason, several software solutions for keyboard security have been applied to critical sites. This paper introduces vulnerabilities to the commonly used USB keyboard, implements a sample code using the vulnerabilities and evaluates the possibility for the keyboard data to be stolen in the guarded environment. Through the comparison of the result, a countermeasure to the vulnerabilities is proposed.

  • An image authentication scheme for gray scale image through embedding a digital watermark by quantization of Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT) coefficients of the image is proposed in this paper. Proposed method is designed to detect modification of an image and to identify tampered location of the image. To embed the watermark mid-frequency band of a second level IWT was used. An approximation of the original image based on LL band was stored in LSB bits of the pixel data as a recovery mark for restoration of the image. Watermarked image has achieved a good PSNR of 40 dB compared to original cover image. Restored image quality was also very good with a PSNR of more than 35 dB compared to unmodified watermarked image even when 25% of the received image is cropped. Thus, the proposed method ensures a proper balance between the fidelity of the watermarked image and the quality of the restored image.

Using radio-frequency data can be recognized automatically in the RFID system is vulnerable to personal information protection or security. And passive tags have a hardware problem is the limit for applying cryptographic. This paper presents an authentication protocol using AES and Nounce. After completing mutual authentication server to access and strengthen security vulnerability to the use of the Nounce, because safety in denial of service attacks.
