Tour is cultural method that makes educational effects smoothly, metaphorically. In a context, dark tour have a function that sustains memorial of accidents and with social meaning, ethic value. This study aims to understand practical solutions of Sewol-Ho memorial on focusing Dark Tourism. This paper considers fascination with this subject and examines explored for good decision. It means that we examines a construction of tour contents within the dark tourism. This article evaluates an dark tourism in a contents program various country, for considering in a case at a Sewol-Ho accident. As a result, we comment some variety choice of strategy effectiveness for a sustainability of ethic value and education memorial.

This study aimed to analyze the authenticity of dark tourism, and to discuss the possibilities and limitations of disaster tourism as an alternative type of tourism in post-modern society. For this purpose, disaster tourism related with the Great East Japan Earthquake was analyzed. After the disaster occurred, the boundaries between guests (tourists) and hosts (residents) dissolved and disaster communities emerged temporarily. This was followed by social contributive tourism, in which both guests and hosts shared their matter of life-and-death experiences, so existential authenticity became the most important motive and experience for tourism. As time passed, however, existential authenticity was reconstructed ideologically in the socioeconomic political context of disaster recovery, and replaced constructive authenticity. After all, the possibilities of disaster tourism as an alternative type of tourism based on the introspection of modernity were restricted. To discuss the underlying ethical issues of the commodification of disaster tourism, further researches should conducted to consider dark tourism as an alternative type of postmodern tourism.

The purposes of the study were two-folded: to identify visitors' motivations for the history-based dark tourism and to test empirically the relationships among visitors' motivations, authenticity, emotion, satisfaction and attitude change. The online survey was conducted, from August 3rd to 20th of 2020, on visitors over 15 years old with previous experience with dark tourism within last three years. 347 individuals responded to the online survey. The study results were as follows: first, among four dark tourism visiting motivation including, motivation to research, historicalness, deviation, and self-examination, first two variables motivation to research and historicalness showed positive effect on authenticity and emotion. Second, the study found that visitors' satisfaction influenced positively towards attitude change. Finally, authenticity and emotion positively influenced attitude change. This study empirically suggests a change in attitude toward history due to the dark tour. Since historicality has been shown to have a significant influence on the attitude of history through authenticity and emotion, it is necessary to strengthen story-based experience programs at historical sites.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the tourists' circulations and behaviors at one of the representative dark tourism sites in Seoul, named Seodaemun Prison History Hall. This study conducts direct observation and behaviour tracking or follow-up survey based on traffic circulation and visitors' Muse-Ethogram extracted from the previous studies. The result of tourists' actual circulations shows that main tourists' flows of study areas consist of 3 approaches; suggested, unstructured and directed approaches. And tourists' behaviors such as moving(M), stop looking(SL), and reading(RE) reveal with the highest frequency. This study finds the 'expressing feeling(EXP)' as a new visitor' behavior in dark tourism site. The highest frequency of visitors' movement patterns is stop looking-reading-move(SL-RE-M). The results of this study could be used as a planning and design guidelines of dark tourism related to exhibition circulation, visitors' behaviors and development of exhibition content.

This study aims to present the criteria of location selection and contents composition of Sewol ferry memorial space from the perspective of placeness and dark tourism, one of the main concepts of cultural tourism theory, and to draw academic concepts and implications related to it. First, the location selection of Sewol ferry memorial space was proposed by applying the concept of placeness to each important location, and the direction of the contents composition was presented based on the contents components such as characters, stories, places and dark tourism composition directions. As a result, when the Sewol ferry memorial space is designed in use of systemizing the narrative structure of the storytelling method and implementing it specifically, it is suggested that it is possible to construct a Sewol ferry memorial space by distributing and course-making based on the narrative structure rather than focusing on the location selection of a specific place. In addition, it was argued that the contents composition criteria should be more complex and systematically established and applied considering the connection between placeness and dark tourism when the Sewol ferry memorial space is constructed in various sites like 416 life safety parks and Mokpo New Port. This study, which aims to answer research questions related to major issues based on the perspective of placeness and dark tourism on the Sewol ferry memorial space, is expected to be used as a reference for the construction of the memorial space in the future.

This study explored ways to make tourism resources based on the historical significance and major legacies of Yesan Imjon Fortress and Hongju Juryu Fortress, the center of the war where the core leadership of Baekje Restoration War was located. After the collapse of Baekje, it looked at the process of the restoration war centered on Imjon Fortress, the main characters, Imjon Fortress and Juryu Fortress, and the legends related to the restoration war. The tourism value of Baekje Restoration War is highlighted in terms of location identity and dark tourism. After reviewing cases of similar characteristics to the Baekje Restoration War, the method of tourism resourceization was presented. The elements of resourceization include characters, battles, relics, places, and name legends. Reproduction strategy, experience strategy, hard branding strategy and soft branding strategy were presented. As an example of the reenactment strategy, the Baekgang Battle reenactment event was presented. Experience strategies include walking and Baekje pottery. As for the hard-branding strategy, installation of sculptures of major characters and upgrading of tourist information signs were suggested. Soft branding strategies raised the need for logo marks, catch phrases, character products, video contents, and story maps through the branding of fortresses related to the Baekje Restoration War.

In what way is the urban landscape of North Korea used today, and what features do people prefer in the North Korean landscape? This study analyzed the characteristics of Pyongyang landscapes and their effects, based on an analysis of Western tourists motivation for tourism in North Korea and preferred enjoyment-seeking experiences. Using data from the tourist agency specializing in Western tourism in North Korea and a location based photo-sharing service, the study interprets the visual distinctiveness of Pyongyang landscape. The study concluded that widely known risk to travelers in North Korea is in fact an attraction, making people want to visit directly. However, this risk was mitigated in practical experience by the overall intermediation of the tourism agency and locals' conscious behavior to keep their distance from foreigners. Next, the scope of National ritual attributes was expanded to the locals' daily life as well as large-scale events such as mass games and military parades only if for national holidays. Also, the most preferred factors contributing to North Korean tourism were based on departure from routine through mobilization of the residents. This indicates the extension that the nature of North Korea as a theater state. The Pyongyang landscape represents a world politically isolated, people's congregated motion to display to the world, and people's lives hidden beneath a veil. These visualities fulfill the fantasy of Westerners regarding North Korea. Furthermore, these are superficial images that help create a basis to maintain the North Korea regime.

This study is aimed to understand the effects of temperature, light and GA soaking treatment on the seed germination of perennial ryegrass 'Dandy', creeping hentgrass 'Penlinks', tall fescue 'Arid' and Kentucky hluegrass 'Nasaw'. These experiments are carried in vitro, and their results obtained are summarized as the followings ; The optimum temperature for seed germination of perennial ryegrass 'Dandy' was found to he ranged at 20~30$^{\circ}C$, and the optimum temperature for germination of creeping bentgrass 'Penlinks', tall fescue 'Arid' and kentucky bluegrass 'Nasaw' seeds was found to be ranged at 20~25$^{\circ}C$, whereas the germination percentage under the below or above temperature of this range decreased. The germination of perennial ryegrass 'Dandy' and tall fescue 'Arid' seeds showed no effect on light, and while the germination percentage of creeping hentgrass 'Penlinks' increased more highly under the dark condition than under the light condition. The germination percentage decreased according to the higher temperature. The germination of Kentucky bluegrass 'Nasaw' seeds increased more highly under the dark condition than under the light condition at 20~25$^{\circ}C$, whereas the germination percentage under the dark condition at 15$^{\circ}C$ and 30$^{\circ}C$ decreased. In case of GA soaking treatment of seeds, all the cool season turfgrasses tested showed their own promoting effects on seed germination. The early germination of tall fescue 'Arid' was good without the soaking times. Creeping bentgrass 'Penlinks' and perennial ryegrass 'Dandy' had re-spectively the highest germination percentage at 10min and 1hr soaking treatment, and the longer the soaking time, the lesser the germination percentage. Kentucky bluegrass 'Nasaw' obtained the best results at 24has soaking treatment, and the longer the soaking time, the better the ger-mination percentage.

The physicochemical characterstics of El Salvadoran Coffea arabica cv. Bourbon coffee extracts under various roasting conditions were investigated. Green beans were roasted under four different conditions (Light-medium, Medium, Moderately dark, and Very dark). The coffee extracts were prepared by using the espresso or drip methods. As the roasting degree increased, the coffee bean moisture content decreased and the ash content increased. The lightness and yellowness of the beans and coffee extracts decreased along with the increasing roasting degree. In the drip coffee, the reducing sugar content decreased and the pH value increased along with the increasing roasting degree. Both in the espresso and drip coffee, total organic acid and chlorogenic acid contents decreased, while the caffeine content increased along with the increasing roasting degree. Therefore, it is suggested that the roasting degree affects the physicochemical characteristics of coffee extracts.
