독거노인의 일상생활 및 만성질환관리의 경험: 포커스그룹 인터뷰 (A study on the experience of daily life and chronic disease management of elderly living alone : Focus group interview)

  • 본 연구는 독거노인의 일상생활 및 만성질환 관리에 대한 경험을 분석하여 이에 대한 의미와 본질 및 어려움을 알아보기 위해 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 실시한 질적 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 D시 노인복지관을 방문하는 65세 이상의 독거노인 중 인지장애가 없는 자를 대상으로 하였으며, 총 31명의 대상자를 5그룹으로 나누어 각 그룹 당 약 60분의 면담을 진행하였다. 본 연구결과 '일상생활의 어려움', '여러 만성질환에 이환됨 ', '미래의 상황에 대한 두려움', '삶에 대한 수용'의 4개의 주제가 도출되었다. 결론적으로 독거노인들은 신체적 노화와 만성질환의 이환에 따라 일상생활의 어려움을 느끼고 있으며 미래의 상황에 대한 두려움을 느끼면서도 동시에 삶에 대해 수용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 독거노인들의 삶의 만족도와 삶의 질 향상을 위해서는 식사 및 세탁 등의 일상생활이 유지될 수 있도록 제도적 장치 마련이 요구되며, 만성질환이 악화되지 않도록 관리함으로써 신체적 건강이 유지될 수 있도록 하는 중재프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. 또한 미래의 불확실한 상황에 대한 두려움을 감소시켜 삶에 대해 긍정적인 수용을 할 수 있는 중재 프로그램이 개발되어야 하겠다.

  • 본 연구는 장애 청소년의 생활만족도 증진에 영향을 미치는 변수들의 인과적 경로를 확인함으로 일상생활 가운데 구체적인 개입을 가능하게 하는 근거를 마련하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구는 2017년 장애인실태조사에 응답한 만9세-만24세의 장애청소년 239명을 대상으로 하였으며, 이중매개효과 검증을 위해 SPSS macro process를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 수단적 일상생활수행능력, 생활만족도, 주관적 건강인식, 문화 여가활동참여는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 수단적 일상생활수행능력이 생활만족도에 영향을 미칠 때, 주관적 건강인식과 문화 여가활동의 매개효과를 확인 할 수 있으며, 수단적 일상생활수행능력이 주관적 건강인식과 문화 여가활동참여의 인과적인 경로를 통해 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 이중매개효과를 확인 할 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 장애 청소년의 수단적 일상생활 수행능력과 생활만족도의 영향관계 가운데 주관적 건강인식과 문화 여가활동의 순차적인 경로의 확인을 통한 실천적인 개입을 초점을 확인 할 수 있다.

Algorithm for Detection of Solar Filaments in EUV

  • In today's age when telecommunications using satellite has become part of our daily lives, one has to be employ preventive measures to avert any possible danger, of which solar activity is the major cause. Coronal mass ejections (CMEs) heading towards the Earth can lead to disturbances in the Earth's magnetosphere, if their magnetic field is oriented southward. Monitoring of solar filaments in this case becomes very very crucial, as their eruption is associated with most of the CMEs. Also, filaments show activation up to a few hours prior to launch of a CME and thus can provide advance warning. In this study, we present an algorithm for the detection of solar filaments seen in the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) from Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) on board the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO). Various morphological operations are employed to identify and extract the filaments. These filaments are then tracked in order to determine their size and location continuously.

  • This study attempted to examine the effects of a portable voice feedback device on the hyperfunctional voice behaviors of children with vocal nodules when they wore the device in their daily lives. The device could set fundamental frequency and intensity at optimal levels for the subjects, It produces an audible alarm for inappropriate hyperfunctional voices beyond the preset levels, In addition, the frequency of hyperfunctional voice behaviors was recorded by the device, therefore the users were able to chart their number of hyperfunctional voice behaviors per day, According to results acquired after having subjects wear the device for 12 weeks, the subjects' frequency of hyperfunctional voice behaviors decreased significantly (p < .01). Especially from the first to fourth week, the frequency of their hyperfunctional voice behaviors declined significantly.

  • 사회 전반에 걸친 정보화의 진행은 전세계적으로 매우 빠르게 확산되고 있다. 특히 인터넷은 실생활과 밀접한 기능의 현실적 수단으로 우리 생활에 커다란 변화를 가져오고 있다. 이에 따라 각 대학들의 투자도 증가하고 있는데 이러한 투자에 대한 비용 대 효과분석이 미비하다. 본 연구에서는 한 Sample 대학교를 대상으로 해서 대학 정보화의 투자에 따른 인터넷 장비의 효율성을 분석하기 위하여 인터넷의 사용 용도에 대한 통계분석을 하였다. 연구 결과 장비 중 많은 비율의 장비들이 항시 오락성의 용도로 점유 당하고 있어 궁극적으로 학습적인 용도로 사용하고자 하는 다수의 학생들에게 장비의 가용성(Availability)을 제공하지 못하고 있음을 발견하였다.

When studying the impact of intimacy in the human/robot relationship, we have to examine the problems that can arise as a result of physical intimacy(coordination on safety in the hardware side and a soft side). Furthermore, We should also consider the informational aspects of intimacy (recognition technology, and information transport and sharing).

한국 여대생의 성 정체감 내면화 과정 (The Internalization of the Gender Identity for Korean Female College Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the subjective experiences of female college students about how they accept, resist, and interpret their gender identities and roles. The research data were autobiographic essays reflecting research participants' gender identities internalization process. Thirty essays were chosen, and carried by qualitative content analysis. It turned out that most of these female students were not blessed their birth among their family members only because of their sexes. On the one hand, these female students were restricted their behaviors by their sexes in their daily lives such as responsibility on household work, not permitting drinking, late returning home, and sexual behavior before marriage. On the other hand, they sometimes took advantage of their sexes for self-rationalization. But they were proud of the fact that they will be mothers someday. It seemed that motherhood was center for their female identity.

  • The generalization trend of smartphones has brought many smartphone games into daily lives. These games are mainly dependent on the interactions on the display of the phone using finger touches. On the other hand, functions for detecting the positions and actions of the phones such as gyro-sensors have been rapidly developed over the former orientation sensors and acceleration sensors. Though it has become technologically possible to detect the users' motion via the smartphone devices and to use the phone device directly as the game device, it is hard to find the actualized cases. This paper proposes a new paradigm that includes basic frameworks and algorithms for the games combining the motion tracking and mutual communications on the smartphones and presents the details of its implementation and results.

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is diversely utilized in our lives such as daily hobbies, specialized video image taking and disaster prevention activities. New ways of UAV application have been explored recently such as UAV-based delivery. However, most UAV systems are being utilized in a passive form such as real-time video image monitoring, filmed image ground analysis and storage. For more proactive UAV utilization, there should be higher-performance UAV and large-capacity memory than those presently utilized. Against this backdrop, this study described the general matters on proactive software platform and high-performance UAV hardware for real-time target tracking; implemented research on its design and implementation, and described its implementation method. Moreover, in its established platform, this study measured and analyzed the core-specific CPU consumption.
