우리나라 인적재해 유형별 손상 분석 (Analysis of Injury Types in Korean Disaster)

  • The purpose of the study was to injury types in Daegu subway fire accident, Sampung department store collapse, Mokpo airport civil aircraft accident, and Buan sunken ship disaster. The conclusion obtained from these analyses are as following. 1. The total of victims were Sampung department store collapse(l440 people). Buan sunken ship disaster(355 people), Daegu subway fire accident(340 people), and Mokpo airport civil aircraft accident(110 people). 2. The total of dead people were Sampung department store collapse(502 people), Buan sunken ship disaster(287 people), Daegu subway fire accident(192 people), and Mokpa airport civil aircraft accident(66 people). 3. The total of injured people were Sampung department store collapse(938 people), Daegu subway fire accident(148 people), Mokpo airport civil aircraft accident(84 people), and Buan sunken ship disaster(67 people). 4. The major types of victims presented smoke inhalation such as coughing, dyspnea, and sore throat in Daegu subway fire accident. 5. The major types of victims presented crushing(multiple fractures), vertebral, and soft tissues injuries in Sampung department store collapse. 6. The major types of victims presented multiple fractures. In addition to, a lot of people showed vertebral injuries and shock symptoms in Mokpo airport civil aircraft accident. 7. The major types of victims presented drowning as well lots of hypothermia patients in Buan sunken ship disaster. There were a wide variety of types in human disaster. Therefore, the most important disaster training program need to each disaster aspect in the local emergency medical services system. Moreover, the emergency medical services personnel should be understand and training for injury types of each human disaster.

  • 본 연구는 2003년 2월 18일 대구에서 발생한 지하철 사고에 대한 네티즌의 의견을 토대로 사회의 방재의식을 조사 및 분석하고자 하였다. 분석된 자료를 통하여 방재의식 저하곡선을 모형화함으로써 방재의식을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있었으며 본 연구는 금후 지속적인 방재교육의 정착화에 유효하게 이용될 것이다.

대구시 지하철 화재사고 부상자들의 6년후 정신과적 특성 (Psychiatric Characteristics of Wounded Persons of Daegu Subway Fire Accident after Six Years)

  • Objective : This study examined psychiatric characteristics of wounded persons of Daegu subway fire accident occurring in February 2003 after six years. Methods : 103 wounded persons completed psychometric measures at 2 months and 6 years after the accident. Changes of psychiatric symptoms were compared and factors affecting post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) seriousness were examined. Results : In Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, the scores of Psychopathic Deviate (Pd), Masculinity/ Femininity (Mf), Social Introversion (Si) scales were significantly changed over time. The scores of Symptoms Checklist-90-Revision subscales were mostly decreased over time, however, paranoid ideation (PAR) subsclae scores were not significantly changed over time. In all of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)-State, Beck Depression Inventory, Impact of Event Scale, and PTSD Checklist-Civilian, mean scores at 6 years after the accident were significantly lower than those at 2 months after the accident. However, STAI-Trait score was not significantly changed over time. Total seriousness of PTSD was found to be affected by quality of sleep. Conclusions : Psychiatric symptoms of subjects were largely improved over time, but distrust and doubt of others were continued. In addition, the wounded persons suffered from sleep problems. Therefore, early and continuous interventions of public institutions and public health specialists are needed for the wounded persons with chronic psychiatric disorders.

대구시민의 소방안전의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recognition of Daegu Citizen on Fire Safety)

  • 본 연구는 대구시민의 소방안전에 관한 의식을 조사하여 시민들의 소방안전의식을 향상시킬 수 있는 기본자료를 제공하기 위하여 수행되었다. 설문조사는 대구 시민 553명에 대하여 2003년 10월 2일부터 15일까지 실시되었으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 대구시민들은 우리사회의 소방안전의식을 낮게 생각하고 있으며, 대구 지하철 화재사고가 시민들의 소방안전의식에 아주 큰 영향을 끼친 것으로 나타났다. 대구 시민들은 건물에 설치된 소방설비에 대하여 신뢰하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 일반시민들의 소방안전에 대한 의식을 높이기 위한 방법으로는 TV, 신문 등 언론홍보강화(30.7%), 소방안전체험관 설치 및 운영(24.6%), 학교에서의 소방안전교육 강화(20.8%)의 순으로 나타났다.

FDS를 이용한 지하철 객실 화재 시 승강장 제연조건의 적정성 평가 (Evaluation of the Appropriateness of Smoke Control Conditions of Platform at the Subway Fire by using FDS)

  • 지하철에서는 전 세계적으로 크고 작은 화재가 지속적으로 발생되고 있다. 대구지하철 화재에서 볼 수 있듯이 독성가스와 연기에 의한 가시거리 감소로 많은 인명피해가 발생하였다. 본 논문에서는 부산 지하철 만덕역에서 열차 화재가 발생할 경우 승강장에서의 제연상황(열차문의 개방, 터널의 제연설비의 가동, 방화문의 작동)에 따라 연기의 전파거동을 FDS를 사용하여 분석하였다. 계산 결과 터널부의 제연설비를 가동하였을 경우보다는 가동하지 않았을 경우가 피난로 확보에 효과가 있었다. 또한, 열차문의 개방 형태는 승강장의 대피로 측의 문은 모두 개방하고 화재객차의 선로측 문만을 개방하였을 경우가 모두 개방한 경우보다 제연 효율이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 승강장의 방화문이 정상적으로 가동하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 화해를 입은 구조물의 안전성 확보에는 초기대응이 매우 중요기 때문에 신속한 의사결정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 화해를 입은 구조물의 이형철근과 콘크리트 간 잔존부착강도를 평가할 수 있는 간략화된 방법을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법은 화재강도 즉, 화재 중 최고노출 온도 뿐 아니라 화재지속시간도 고려할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안된 방법의 검증 및 비교를 위하여 화해를 입은 대구지하철 역사의 현장조사 결과를 인용하였으며, 해석결과 그 효용성을 확인하였다.

  • After the incendiary fire accident at Daegu subway, discussion of PSD installation started to prevent accident from fall. safety accident and big accident. Following these paradigm, the purpose of the study is to analyze the present condition of current installation of PSD in our country and suggest an improvement scheme for the future PSD operation extension. Using the SWOT analysis and we analyze the inner and outer capability of PSD installation. We try to find a counter plan strategy for PSD installation improvement scheme through the analysis.

  • The security issue in urban transit system has been widely considered as the common matters after the fire accident at Daegu subway station. The safe urban transit system is highly demanded because of the vast number of daily passengers, and it is one of the most challenging projects. We introduced a test model for integrated security system for urban transit system and built it at a subway station to demonstrate its performance. This system consists of cameras, sensor network and central monitoring software. We described the smart camera functionality in more detail. The proposed smart camera includes the moving objects recognition module, video analytics, video encoder and server module that transmits video and audio information.

테러안전을 위한 지하공간의 예방대책 (A Study on the suitable Underground space for Safety against Terror)

  • The result of all terrors causes enormous damage. In order to prevent this damage in advance and find a prompt provision after terror, we investigated a safety measure against terror on the assumption that the fire in Daegu central subway is a subway terror. The followings are the safety measures against terror based on an underground space. Frist, training systems have to be established to provide against a terror. Second, People's consciousness about safety from a terror, centering on early education, has to be raised. Third, the provisions related with underground tunnel have to be established so that people can take shelter in underground tunnel areas. Fourth, CCTV has to be established in the guest rooms of the electric motor cars. Last, cooperative systems among related organizations have to be constructed, and the networks of the organizations have to be established so that they can cope with an accident.
