Cloning and characterization of the multiprotein bridging factor 1 (YIMBFI) gene from the dimorphi yeast Yarrowia lipolytica

  • In order to identify Yawowia lipolytica genes induced by serum, cDNA representational difference analysis was performed using a PCR-select CDNA subtraction method. One of the genes cloned from the subtraction was a gene (YIMBFl) homologous to Saccharomyces cerevisiae MBF1 encoding the coactivator multiprotein bridging factor 1. Disruption of YIMBFl revealed that the gene was net essential for viability, and the Ylmbf△ strain did not show any distinct phenotypic change on solid serum medium. In liquid medium, however. a difference was found in the ability to maintain hyphae induced by serum. This result suggests that the YIMbf1 protein may mediate transcriptional activation of certain genes involved in the hypha fonmation of Y. lipolytica.

  • This study was performed to investigate wake flow and unsteady flow characteristics using a model for actual shape of a wind breaker and visualization of flow through the particle image velocity. three control angle of flap were selected and instantaneous velocity distributions and flow characteristics were experimently investigated. It is found that as the control angle increase, the flows are characterized by the appearance of the growth of recirculation region.

The Analysis of the Experimental Research Trend of Efficacy of Gyejibokryeong-hwan (계지복령환의 효능에 대한 국내외 실험연구 동향 분석)

  • Objectives: Gyejibokryeong-hwan (GBH), a traditional Korean herbal medicine, has been widely used for the treatment of the blood stasis syndrome. This study is purposed to analyze the experimental research trend of GBH in Korea for developing further research plan. Methods: A search of Korean research database-Oasis, RISS and KISS- and Pubmed was carried out for publications until 2015, for the words, 'Guizhifulingwan', ‘Gyejibokryeonghwan’, or ‘Keishibukuryogan’. Then study selection is conducted according to PRISMA guidelines, studies not related or using modified formula or administered for human are excluded, 48 studies are included in this review, finally. We analyzed studies by research method, subject, outcome measure, and result of the study. Results: There were 31 in vivo studies about the effect of GBH on platelet aggregation, anti-oxidant, blood viscosity, and hypercholesterolemia, etc. 12 in vitro studies were about the effect of GBH on the cervical carcinoma, chronic kidney disease, uterine myoma, hepatocarcinoma, atherosclerosis, cancer chemo-prevent. 9 ex vivo studies were about the effect of GBH on the platelet aggregation, chronic kidney disease, ovaulatory disorder, and rheumarthritis.Conclusions: We proposed the translational research of GBH involving scientific discoveries and developing practical applications by investigating the concept of blood stasis syndrome in terms of current physiopathological mechanism.

헬기의 인공 시계 시스템용 DGPS/INS 통합 항법 플랫폼 설계

  • 본 논문에서는 헬기의 인공 시계 시스템용 DGPS/INS 통합 항법 플랫폼을 설계하였다. DGPS/INS 통합 항법 플랫폼 하드웨어는 PowerPC CPU와 Flash ROM과 DDR SDRAM를 이용하여 설계하였다. DGPS 수신기와 IMU와의 연결을 위한 외부 인터페이스부는 직렬 통신을 사용하는 DGPS수신기와 IMU는 모두 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 직렬 통신 방식인 UART 컨트롤러와 SDLC 컨트롤러를 사용하여 설계하였다. 실시간 운영체제를 기반으로 하는 플랫폼의 소프트웨어는 초기 정렬, 자세 계산, 속도 계산, 위치 계산, 통합 필터, 명령 처리 각각에 대하여 태스크로 구성하고 세마포어를 이용하여 태스크간의 동기가 이루어지도록 설계하였다. 통합 항법 플랫폼의 성능 평가를 위하여 차량 실험을 수행하였으며 상용 항법 시스템의 결과와 비교를 하였다.
