PDP 패턴검사를 위한 실시간 영상처리시스템 개발 (Real-Time Image Processing System for PDP Pattern Inspection with Line Scan Camera)

  • 본 논문에서는 PDP 상판의 패턴결함을 검출하는 영상처리 알고리즘을 제안하고, 이를 실시간으로 처리하기 위한 영상처리 하드웨어의 구현을 나타낸다. 제안된 영상처리 알고리즘은 참조영상의 패턴간격을 이용하여 결함영상을 추출하는 알고리즘이며, 영상처리 시스템은 실시간 구조로 설계된 고속 영상처리 하드웨어와 여러 개의 영상처리 하드웨어 제어를 위한 데이터관리 및 시스템제어 하드웨어에로 나누어 구현하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 구현한 영상처리 시스템을 이용하여 실제 PDP 상판의 결함을 검사하는 실험 환경을 구성하여 패턴의 결함을 검사하는 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 제안한 알고리즘과 구현한 하드웨어의 우수성을 입증 하였다.

단축 힘센서를 이용한 두 손가락 잡기 힘측정장치 개발 및 특성평가 (Development of Two-Finger Force Measuring System to Measure Two-Finger Gripping Force and Its Characteristic Evaluation)

  • Finger patients can't use their hands because of the paralysis their fingers. Their fingers are recovered by rehabilitating training, and the rehabilitating extent can be judged by measuring the pressing force to be contacted with two fingers(thumb and first finger, thumb and middle finger, thumb and ring finger, thumb and little finger). At present, most hospitals have used a thin plastic-plate for measuring the two-finger grasping force, and we can only judge that they can grasp the plate with their two-finger through it, because the plate can't measure the two-finger grasping force. But, recently, the force measuring system for measuring two-finger grasping force was developed using three-axis force sensor, but it is very expensive, because it has a three-axis force sensor. In this paper, two-finger force measuring system with a one-axis force sensor which can measure two-finger grasping force was developed. The one-axis force sensor was designed and fabricated, and the force measuring device was designed and manufactured using DSP(Digital Signal Processing). Also, the grasping force test of men was performed using the developed two-finger force measuring system, it was confirmed that the grasping forces of men were different according to grasping methods, and the system can be used for measuring two-finger grasping force.

A Study on Design and Implementation of Speech Recognition System Using ART2 Algorithm

  • In this research, we selected the speech recognition to implement the electric wheelchair system as a method to control it by only using the speech and used DTW (Dynamic Time Warping), which is speaker-dependent and has a relatively high recognition rate among the speech recognitions. However, it has to have small memory and fast process speed performance under consideration of real-time. Thus, we introduced VQ (Vector Quantization) which is widely used as a compression algorithm of speaker-independent recognition, to secure fast recognition and small memory. However, we found that the recognition rate decreased after using VQ. To improve the recognition rate, we applied ART2 (Adaptive Reason Theory 2) algorithm as a post-process algorithm to obtain about 5% recognition rate improvement. To utilize ART2, we have to apply an error range. In case that the subtraction of the first distance from the second distance for each distance obtained to apply DTW is 20 or more, the error range is applied. Likewise, ART2 was applied and we could obtain fast process and high recognition rate. Moreover, since this system is a moving object, the system should be implemented as an embedded one. Thus, we selected TMS320C32 chip, which can process significantly many calculations relatively fast, to implement the embedded system. Considering that the memory is speech, we used 128kbyte-RAM and 64kbyte ROM to save large amount of data. In case of speech input, we used 16-bit stereo audio codec, securing relatively accurate data through high resolution capacity.

내부고장을 고려한 AF-SMES 시스템의 시뮬레이션 해석 및 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fabrication and Simulation Analysis of AF-SMES System considering Internal Fault Condition)

  • Recently, utility network is getting more and more complicated and huge. In addition to, demands of power conversion devices which have non-linear switching devices are getting more and more increased. Consequently, according to the non-linear power semiconductor devices, current harmonics are unavoidable. Those current harmonics flow back to utility network and become one of the reasons which make the voltage distortion. On the other hands, voltage sag from sudden increasing loads is also one of the terrible problems inside of utility network. In order to compensate the current harmonics and voltage sag problem, AF(Active Filter) systems could be a good solution method and SMES(Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage) system is a very good promising source due to the high response time of charge and discharge. Therefore, the combined system of AF and SMES is a wonderful device to compensate both harmonics current and voltage sag. However, unfortunately SMES needs a superconducting magnetic coil. Because of the introduction of superconducting magnetic coil, quench problem caused by unexpected reasons is always existed. In case of discharge operation, quench is a significantly harmful factor according as it decreases the energy capacity of SMES. Therefore, this paper presents a decision method of the specification of the AF-SMES system considering internal fault condition. Especially, authors analyzed the change of the original energy capacity of SMES regarding to the size of resistance caused by quench of superconducting magnetic coil. Finally, based on this simulation, authors manufactured actual Active Filter System using DSP.

  • 무선통신 시스템마다 다르게 적용되는 주파수를 해당 통신 규격에 따라 변환하는 기술인 DDC(Digital Down Converter)는 향후 통신 기술 발달을 위해 필요한 기술로 무선 통신 및 SDR(Software Defined Radio) 시스템에서 필수적인 구성 요소로 인식되고 있다. 또한, 주파수 자원 부족 현상으로 인해 기존 서비스에 간섭을 주지 않고 효율적인 통신 환경을 구성하는 스펙트럼 센싱에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DDC 시스템을 구성하는 CIC(Cascaded Integrator Comb) 필터, WDF(Wave Digital Filter), SRC(Sample Rate Conversion)의 각 모듈을 세부적으로 분석하였으며, 주파수의 사용 효율을 높이기 위해 DDC 시스템과 스펙트럼 센싱을 효과적으로 연동하는 방안을 제안하고 모의실험에서 검증하였다. 모의실험결과 DDC 시스템의 각 모듈에 스펙트럼 센싱 기능을 적용하여 성능 및 복잡도의 결과를 도출하여 제안한 시스템의 결과를 확인하였다.

e-Navigation 운영시스템을 위한 RESTful 이종 데이터 서비스 시스템 아키텍처 설계 (Design of The RESTful Heterogeneous Data Service Architecture for Korean e-Navigation Operation System)

  • 국제해사기구(IMO)는 해상을 항해하는 선박에 대해, 해상사고의 인적요인이 발생하지 않도록 e-Navigation이라는 새로운 해상안전 지원체계를 개발하고 도입하려 하고 있다. 한국은 e-Navigation 개발에 적극적으로 참여하여 e-Navigation 에 자체적으로 개발한 개념을 더해 한국형 e-Navigation인 '차세대 해양안전종합관리체계 기술'을 개발하고 있으며 2019년 도입을 목표로 하고 있다. 한국형 e-Navigation은 해양안전을 위한 다양한 기능을 제공할 수 있도록 설계되고 있는 만큼 각 기능별로 필요한 데이터의 종류가 공간 데이터와 일반 데이터, 파일, 기상 그리드등 다양하다. 따라서 이들 데이터를 eNavigation의 각 기능 서비스 시스템에 적절히 제공할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 한국형 e-Navigation에서 필요로 하는 데이터를 분석하고 이러한 이종 데이터를 제공할 수 있도록 REST API를 이용한 이종 데이터 서비스 시스템의 아키텍처를 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 TMS320C80 MVP(multimedia video processor)를 이용하여 영상 항법변수 추출 알고리듬을 실시간 구현하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 영상 항법변수 추출 알고리듬은 상대위치 추정과 절대위치 보정으로 이루어져 있으며, 절대위치 보정은 고해상도 항공영상과 IRS(Indian remote sensing) 위성영상 그리고 DEM(digital elevation model)을 이용한 방법이 있다. 이러한 알고리듬들을 수행하는 통합시스템을 MVP가 탑재된 DSP 보드로 실시간 구현하였다. 이를 위해 영상을 분할하여 병렬처리 함으로써 처리 시간을 줄였다. 모의 실험을 통해 실시간 처리가 가능함을 알 수 있었고, 추정오차 측면에서 성능을 평가하였다.

DSP를 이용한 SCARA 로봇의 강인한 동적 제어시스템 실현 (Implementation of a Robust Dynamic Control System for SCARA Robot Using DSPs)

  • A contrp; suste, fpr SCARA robot is designed for implememting a robust dynamic control algorithm. this study forcuses on the use of DSPs in the design of joint controllers and interfaces in between the host cotroller and four joint controllers and in between the joint controllers and four servo drives. The mechanical body of SCARA robot and the servo drives are selected from the commercially available ones. The four joint controllers, assigned to each joint one by one, are combined into a common system through a mother board hardwarewise and through the global memeory softwarewise. The mother board is designed to connect joint controllers onto the board through the slots adopting PC/104 bus structures. And, the global memory stores the common data which can be shared by joint controllers and the host computer directly, which virtually combines the whole system into one. To demonstrate the performance and efficienty of the sytem, a robust inverse dynamic algorithm is proposed and implemented for a faster and more precise control. The robust inverse dynamic algorithm is basically derived from an inverse dynamci algorithm and a PID compensator. Based upon the derived dynamic equitions of SCARA robot, the inverse dynamic algorithm is intitially implemented within 0.3 msec of the control cycle in this system. The algoithm is found to be not accurate enough for the high speed and precision tasks due to inherent modelling errors and time-varying factors. Therefore, a variable PID algorithm is combined with the inverse dynamic algorithm to support robustness of control performance. Experimental datfor the proposed algorithm are presented and compared with the result obtained from PID and inverse dynamic algorithm.

Design and Implementation of Direct Torque Control Based on an Intelligent Technique of Induction Motor on FPGA

  • In this paper the hardware implementation of the direct torque control based on the fuzzy logic technique of induction motor on the Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is presented. Due to its complexity, the fuzzy logic technique implemented on a digital system like the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and microcontroller is characterized by a calculating delay. This delay is due to the processing speed which depends on the system complexity. The limitation of these solutions is inevitable. To solve this problem, an alternative digital solution is used, based on the FPGA, which is characterized by a fast processing speed, to take the advantage of the performances of the fuzzy logic technique in spite of its complex computation. The Conventional Direct Torque Control (CDTC) of the induction machine faces problems, like the high stator flux, electromagnetic torque ripples, and stator current distortions. To overcome the CDTC problems many methods are used such as the space vector modulation which is sensitive to the parameters variations of the machine, the increase in the switches inverter number which increases the cost of the inverter, and the artificial intelligence. In this paper an intelligent technique based on the fuzzy logic is used because it is allows controlling the systems without knowing the mathematical model. Also, we use a new method based on the Xilinx system generator for the hardware implementation of Direct Torque Fuzzy Control (DTFC) on the FPGA. The simulation results of the DTFC are compared to those of the CDTC. The comparison results illustrate the reduction in the torque and stator flux ripples of the DTFC and show the Xilinx Virtex V FPGA performances in terms of execution time.

직접토크제어 유도전동기의 센서 이상허용 제어 (A Fault-Tolerant Scheme for Direct Torque Controlled Induction Motor Drives)

  • 본 논문에서는 직접토크제어 유도전동기 구동시스템의 고 신뢰성 운전을 위한 센서이상 검출식별 및 이상허용제어에 관한 실험적 연구 결과를 기술한다. 주요 내용은 센서이상 해석 결과의 실험적 검증과 이상검출식별 시스템의 설계, 이상허용제어기의 구현 및 실험적 성능 고찰이다. 적용된 센서이상 검출식별기법은 관측기기반 기법이며 기존의 다중 관측기 기법과 달리 한 개의 관측기에 의해 검출식별정보를 발생하므로 실시간 적용이 용이하다. 제안된 시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 2.2kW 유도전동기를 대상으로 직접토크제어 기법을 이용한 속도제어시스템을 설계하였다. 이상허용제어를 위한 시스템의 하드웨어는 고성능 DSP인 TMS320VC33을 이용한 제어보드와 IPM을 이용한 전력회로로 구성된다. 다양한 센서이상에 대한 실험결과, 설계된 시스템의 검출식별 및 이상허용 제어 성능이 매우 우수함을 확인하였다.
