A Development of an Industrial SPMSM Servo Drive System using TMS320F2812 DSP (TMS320F2812 DSP를 이용한 산업용 SPMSM 정밀 제어시스템 개발)

  • This paper presents a SPMSM(Surface-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) servo drive system using high performance TMS320F2812 DSP for the industrial application. The DSP(Digital Signal Processor) Controller enables an enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design intelligent for only exclusively motor drives which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower control system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The suggested system contain speed and current sensing circuits, SVPWM(Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) and I/O interface circuit. The developed servo drive control system showns a good response characteristics results and high performance features in general purposed 400[w] machine. This system can achieve cost reduction and size minimization of controllers.

저 전압 고성능 DSP를 이용한 AC 서보 모터 제어

  • 본 연구는 AC서보 모터의 벡터 제어를 구현하는데 있어 디지털 제어에 의한 시간 지연 및 Af) 변환기, QEP(Quadrature Encoder Pulse Circuit)등 주변 소자의 시간 지연에 의한 노이즈를 최소화하지 위하여 고성능 저 전압형 DSP인 TMX320F2812를 사용하였다. TMX320F2812는 150MIPS의 빠른 연산 속도와 12비트의 AD 컨버터, QEP회로는 물론 공간 전압 벡터 PWM을 발생시킬 수 있는 기능을 가진 모터 제어용 원친 DSP이다. 이와 같이 주변 회로들을 내장한 고성능 DSP의 사용은 모터 제어부의 하드웨어적인 구성을 간소화 시키고 이로 인한 비용 절감을 얻을 수 있다. 또한 전류 샘플을 위한 필터 부분을 디지털 필터화 하여 전류 샘플링 노이즈를 제거하였고, 옵셋 전압을 이용한 SVPWM을 구현하여 연산 시간을 대폭 단축 하였다. TMX320F2812의 단점인 고정 소수점 연산에 대해서는 각 변수에 대한 스케일링을 통해 유효 자리를 확보하였다.

  • This paper presents a design of an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) -based currentcontroller. Using the nature of the high computational capability of FPGA, the digital delay due to the algorithm execution can be reduced. The control performance can be better than the conventional DSP (Digital Signal Processor)-based current controller. Moreover, this method does not need any delay compensation algorithm because the digital delay is physically diminished. Therefore, the bandwidth of the current controller can be extended by this method. The feasibility of this method is verified by several experimental results under the various conditions.

  • 이 논문에서는 모듈 통합형 태양광 전력조절기 시스템을 간소화하기 위해서 인버터 스테이지 DSP에서 도통률을 결정하여 지그비를 이용한 무선방식으로 전송하고 이를 모듈에서 직접 PWM으로 변환하여 전력조절기를 제어하는 직접 PWM 제어방식을 제안하였다. 각 모듈의 전압, 전류를 지그비 모듈을 통하여 일정 간격으로 샘플링하여 그 값을 인버터 스테이지 DSP에 보내주고 MPPT 동작을 통하여 최대전력점에 해당하는 시비율을 컨버터에 다시 지그비 모듈을 통하여 무선으로 보내주는, 전압제어루프를 사용하지 않는 직접 PWM을 이용하여 부스트 컨버터를 제어하는 방법을 사용하였다. 제안하는 방식을 증명하기 위하여 50W 태양광 전력조절기, 듀얼 솔라 PV시뮬레이터 그리고 지그비 모듈을 사용하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • This paper presents an implementation of position control system of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using digital hysteresis controller by TMS320F740 DSP. Although SRM possess several advantages including simple structure and high efficiency, but the control thrive system using power semiconductor device is required to drive this motor. The control drive system increases overall system cost. To overcome this problem and increase the application of SRM, it is needed to develope the servo dave system of SRM. So, the position control system of 1 Hp SRM is developed and evacuated by adaptive switching angle control. The position/speed response characteristics and voltage/current waveforms are presented to prove the capability of SRM for a servo drive application. Moreover, digital hysteresis current controller is developed and evaluated by experimental testing for the purpose of system developmental cost reduction.

  • In this paper, design of speed observer and controller for AC servo system by rapid design system(RG-01D) using DSP of Realgain company is introduced. 'AC Servo-Designer' system, including CEMTool/SIMTool S/W, RG-DSOPIO board, AC servo driver and AUTOTool program, is used in this research. Because 'AC Servo-Designer' system can use SIMTool blocks to design and implement various controller in short time, speed observer and controller for AC servo system is easily designed and implemented according to control objectives.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of a robot's gripper control system. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's gripper, the gripper should detect the force of gripping direction and the force of gravity direction, and should perform the force control using the detected forces and the robot's gripper control system. In this paper, the robot's gripper control system is designed and manufactured using DSP(Digital Signal Processor), and the gripper is composed of two 6-axis force/moment sensors which measures the Fx force(force of x-direction), Fy force, Fz force, and the Mx moment(moment of x-direction), My moment, Mz moment at the same time. The response characteristic test of the system is performed to determine the proportional gain Kp and the integral gain Ki of PI controller. As a result, it is shown that the developed robot's gripper control system grasps an unknown object safely.

  • In this paper, we develop control hardware such as an FPGA based general purposed intelligent controller with a DSP board to solve nonlinear system control problems. PID control algorithms are implemented in an FPGA and neural network control algorithms are implemented in a BSP board. An FPGA was programmed with VHDL to achieve high performance and flexibility. The additional hardware such as an encoder counter and a PWM generator can be implemented in a single FPGA device. As a result, the noise and power dissipation problems can be minimized and the cost effectiveness can be achieved. To show the performance of the developed controller, it was tested fur nonlinear systems such as a robot hand and an inverted pendulum.

  • 전력전자 분야에서 사용되는 전동기 제어 시스템 또는 UPS, 능동필터 등 반도체 전력회로 제어에 다양한 신호처리와 고속연산이 가능하도록 하드웨어적으로 부동소숫점을 연산하거나 MAC 연산 기능 등이 있어 계산 속도가 빠르다는 장점 때문에 TMS320C3X등의 DSP가 많이 사용되어 왔다. 그런데 DSP는 입/출력 기능이 상당히 떨어지므로 외부에 A/D 변환기, EPLD 또는 FPGA 등의 외부소자 들이 많이 필요하여 회로가 상당히 복잡하다는 문제가 있었다. 이에 비하여 마이크로제어기는 입/출력 기능이 우수하나 연산속도가 상당히 떨어진다는 단점이 있다.(중략)

  • Digital control system for active combustion control of lab-scale combustor equipped with secondary fuel injection is designed. Controllability with adaptive law is revealed with the Cambridge Combustor model and the requirement for control system is derived. The input and output requirements of frequency estimator and fuel supply actuator for the adaptive control law is verified with cold tests. The system can be used as digital based active combustion controller having 150Hz combustion instability.
