Implementation of Truck and Dock Management System for Manufacturers and Couriers using RF-ID

  • 현재 모든 제조공정에서 제품을 생산하기 위해 입고되는 제품 및 원자재의 물류비를 절감하기 위한 방안을 찾고자 하는 기업들의 노력은 가장 큰 과제 중 하나이며, 최근 직면한 세계적인 불황으로 인해 물류 관리의 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 본 개발 기술은 TDMS는 특히 UHF 900Mhz RF-ID 무선 주파수 기술을 이용 자재 입고부터 완제품 출하까지의 공장 내 IN/OUT Bound 트럭 물류 및 DOCK 관리 최적화 시스템 개발을 목적으로 한다.

  • 크로스도킹이란 물류와 분배의 개념으로서 창고나 분배 센터에서 물품이 재고로 남겨짐이 없이 곧바로 하역 창구에서 적재 창구로 이동되어지는 것을 말한다 창고시설 이나 운영 조건이나 운영 전략에 의해서 다양한 크로스도킹 모델이 생성될 수 있다. 본 연구에서 고려되어지는 크로스도킹 모델은 하나의 독립된 하역 창구와 독립된 적재 창구를 가정하고 있다. 또한 하역 트럭에 적재되어 있는 물품이나 적재 트럭에 실려질 물품의 수와 종류는 사전에 알려져 있다는 것을 가정한다. 또한 고려되어진 창고나 분배창구는 단지 하나의 하역 창구와 하나의 적재 창구를 가지고 있다고 가정된다. 본 연구의 목적은 고려되어진 크로스도킹 시스템의 총 운영 시간을 최소화하기 위한 하역 트럭과 적재 트럭의 일정 계획을 찾는데 있다.

ON-DOCK 서비스 시스템이 부산항 경쟁력 향상에 미치는 영향 (On the Effect of ON-DOCK System to the Sharpening of Competitiveness Edge of the Pusan Port)

  • Port competition is generally classified into two type of inter-domestic ports and intermational ports and the latter is measured how to secure the function of intermediacy for foreign cargoes among competing parts. In the Northeast Asia top 20 world container ports such as Pusan, Kobe, Yokohama and Kaohsiung are struggling to induce transshipment containers generated in the North China region. This paper aims to analyze and evaluate the competitive factors of the said ports such as port site facilities expenses service level and flexibility of management and operations and suggest the feasible strategies that the Pusan Port to be viable transshipment center in the region. The evaluation is attempted twice. First attempt is evaluated by present conditions of each port and second attempt by upgraded conditions of evaluation value such as port service level and flexibility of port management and operations resulted from the implementation of the ON-DOCK service system. The results of evaluation are as follows; (1) Port competitiveness of first evaluation is ranked in Kobe=Kaohsiung >Pusan>Yokohama. (2) Second evaluation is resulted in Kobe> Pusan= Kaohsiung>Yokohama. According to this results the competitiveness edge of the Pusan Port is able to strengthen by implementation of the ON-DOCk system.

시간제약과 하역장 용량제약이 있는 차량경로문제에 대한 타부탐색 알고리즘 (A Tabu Search Algorithm for the Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Window and Dock Capacity Constraints)

  • We consider a vehicle routing problem with time window and dock capacity constraints (VRPTD). In most traditional models of vehicle routing problems with time window (VRPTW), each customer must be assigned to only one vehicle route. However demand of a customer may exceed the capacity of one vehicle, hence at least two vehicles may need to visit the customer We assume that each customer has Its own dock capacity. Hence, the customer can be served by only a limited number of vehicles simultaneously. Given a depot, customers, their demands, their time windows and dock capacities, VRPTD is to get a set of feasible routes which pass the depot and some customers such that all demands of each customer are satisfied Since VRPTD is NP-hard, a meta-heuristic algorithm is developed. The algorithm consists of two Procedures : the route construction procedure and the route scheduling procedure. We tested the algorithm on a number of instances and computational results are reported.

  • 최근, 국민소득 증대와 주5일제 근무 확산으로 낚시를 포함한 레저수요가 가일층 증가하고 있고 더불어 낚시어선을 포함하는 소형선박의 척수도 매년 증가하고 있는 추세이지만, 소형 선박의 수리, 유지관리 등을 목적으로 해상에서 육상으로 선박을 끌어올리는 상가작업은 소형조선소의 작업공간, 예인비용, 작업공기, 안전측면에서 많은 단점으로 지적되고 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 연안 소형 선박 수리, 유지관리를 위한 Floating dock 시스템 개발의 기초연구로서 Floating dock 시스템 개념정립 및 소형선박의 도크내 유입 ${\cdot}$ 출, 계류기능 등을 모형시험 ${\cdot}$ 검증 등을 통해 개념설계 도서를 작성함으로서 향후, 소형조선소의 작업공간, 인력 및 공기단축 등에 따른 경상비용 절감과 소형선박 유지관리용 Floating dock 개발, 보급을 통한 신규물량 창출로 경영수지 개선에 기여하고자 한다.

컨테이너터미널에서 On-Dock 시스템 효과분석에 관한 연구 - 광양항을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effect of On-Dock System in Container Terminals - Focusing on GwangYang Port -)

  • 최근 컨테이너터미널에서 물량유치에 심혈을 기울이고 있으며, 선사가 컨테이너터미널을 결정하는 요소는 입지조건, 하역능력, 보관, 운송에 연계된 모든 요소들에 사항을 참조하여 선사에게 유리한 조건의 컨테이너터미널을 선별 선택한다. 컨테이너터미널의 On-Dock 서비스 가능 여부 또한 선사가 컨테이너터미널을 선택을 결정짓는 요소의 한 부분으로 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서 On-Dock 시스템의 업무적 알고리즘, 엠티 컨테이너 반출 알고리즘, 풀 컨테이너 알고리즘을 제시하고 On-Dock 시스템을 이용하여 작업 우선 순위 알고리즘, 반출입 작업 우선순위 알고리즘, 엠티 컨테이너 야드 장치 할당 규칙 알고리즘을 통해서 컨테이너를 자동 할당 방식과 수동 할당 방식을 이용해서 컨테이너 반출 시간 및 컨테이너터미널의 효율적인 운영 방안을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 통해 반출 컨테이너 우선순위 지정 및 장치장의 블럭을 지정하여 반출 컨테이너 할당을 제어 한다. 즉, 최적 컨테이너 선정 알고리즘을 통해서, 컨테이너터미널은 엠티 컨테이너 반출 시간을 줄이고, 야드의 컨테이너에 대해서 불필요한 리핸들링을 최소화 할 수 있으므로 장비의 효율을 높일 수 있다. Non On-Dock과 On-Dock 시스템의 작업 운영 결과는 실제 광양컨테이너터미널에서 운영되고 있는 반출 작업 운영(시나리오) 형태를 이용하여 결과를 도출하였다. 광양컨테이너터미널에서 On-Dock 시스템을 적용하게 되며, Non On-Dock 시스템을 적용 할 때 보다 시간이 약5분 정도 신속하게 반출이 가능하다. On-Dock 서비스를 이용하여 선사에서 수출 오더를 관리하기 위해서 엠티 컨테이너를 배정 하고, 수입 화물에 대해서는 D/O를 관리하며 반출 후 회수 관리와 컨테이너의 손상, 청소, 수리, 제어 등의 서비스를 지원하므로 대외 선사 서비스를 강화하여 컨테이너터미널 물량 유치 및 영업 증대를 꾀할 수 있을 것이다.

크로스도킹 시스템에서의 입고 및 출하 트럭의 배차 전략 개발 (Development of Dispatching Strategy for Inbound and Outbound Trucks in Cross Docking System)

  • A cross docking operation involves multiple inbound trucks that deliver items from suppliers to a distribution center and multiple outbound trucks that ship items from the distribution center to customers. Based on customer demands, an inbound truck may have its items transferred to multiple outbound trucks. Similarly, an outbound truck can receive its consignments from multiple inbound trucks. The objective of this study is to find the best truck spotting sequence for both inbound and outbound trucks in order to minimize total operation time of the cross docking system under the condition that multiple visits to the dock by a truck to unload or load its consignments is allowed. The allocations of the items from inbound trucks to outbound trucks are determined simultaneously with the spotting sequences of both the inbound and outbound trucks.

인천내항을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 개발 (A Study on the Development of Simulation Model for Inchon Port)

  • Inchon Port is the second largest import-export port of Korea, and has the point at issue such as the excessive logistics cost because of the limits of handling capacity and the chronic demurrage. There are few research activities on the analysis and improvement of the whole port operation, because Inchon Port not only has the dual dock system and various facilities but also handles a various kind of cargo. The purpose of this paper is to develop the simulation program as a long-term strategic support tool, considering the dual dock system and the TU(Terminal Operation Company) system executed since March, 1997 in Inchon Port. The basic input parameters such as arrival intervals, cargo tons, service rates are analyzed and the probability density functions for these parameters are estimated. The main mechanism of simulation model is the discrete event-driven simulation and the next-event time advancing. The program is executed based on the knowledge base and database. From the simulation model, it is possible to estimate the demurrage status through analyzing various scenarios and to establish the long-term port strategic plan.

  • This paper deals with two most important problems, from both practical and theoretical standpoints, arising when building the ships in docks. Such docks have become core components of modern ship construction. One problem is to minimize the number of building docks in the shipyard, while the other is to keep the usage rate of resources fed into dock as constant as possible. In this paper the combined problem is formulated as a single-integer programming model. The LP-relaxation of this model is solved by column-generation techniques. The results of an experimental evaluation show that the lower bounds are tight. Practical applications of this formulation are also discussed.

항만하역관할의 원인분석 및 예방대책에 관하여 (On the Countermeasure for Preventing the Accident of Cargo Handling in Port)

  • The economy of Korea has grown up significantly in its scale. It has, therefore, become imperative to develop countermeasures to prevent work related injuries and occupational illnesses resultining from haza-rdous working conditions and handling harmful substances. A lot of cargo handling accident in port have occurred due to the characteristics of poor working environment, diversity of working place and method, fluctuation of the amount of cargo and handling of heavy, long, harmful and dangerous cargo, etc. According to '91 industrial accident analysis carried out by the ministry of labour, the number of the stevedores injured by cargo handling accident in port were 1, 432 persons (the death accident : 22 per-sons), the amount of industrial accident compensation in port was 6.7 billion won (the amount of economic loss : 33.6 billion won), and the injury occurance rate of the stevedoring industry was higher than that of the whole industry. This paper, therefore, aims to the actual status of the stevedoring industry and to extract the main cau-ses of the accidents related to cargo handling in port through factor analysis using the data of the accide-nts in the whole habour from 1990 to 1992, and to suggest the countermeasures to prevent such accident. The main causes of the accident and countermeasures are found to be as follows through the factor analy-sis : Factor1, factor2, and factor3 related to a defect of human being and management, a defect of state and environment, and an insufficiency of education and law are extracted. The short-term countermeasures to prevent these accidents are 1) to consolidate the safety and health organization in the working spot, 2) to secure a safe condition in working spot before dock work, 3) to strengthen a dock worker's safety educa-tion. The long-term countermeasures are 1) to promote a decasualisation of dock workers, 2) to modernize the cargo working methods through constructing exclusive pier and introducing exclusive cargo handling equipment, 3) to establish a exclusive dock accident prevention organization and the dock workers law. Factor 4, factor5, factor6, and factor7 related to an unfitness, a deficiency of technical knowledge, a nonfu-lfilment of safety measures, and a bad arrangement are extracted. The countermeasures to prevent these accidents are 1) to perform a complete safety inspection of cargo handling equipments and tools and to carry out the dock work according to a working plan, 2) to publish and supply technical safety books, safety instruction book, safety check list, etc., 3) to strengthen the safety patrol at the working spot in habour and to activate a safety fund, 4) to maintain always a clean workshop with the safety consciousness in which the good arragement of the working spot is considered to be the beginning of safety.
