Estimation of cutting forces in band sawing (톱절삭에서의 절삭력 예측)

  • The cross section of the circular rod type workpiece to be cut in the band saw machine is variable at every moment in the sawing process. When the cutting feed rate is fixed to the constant speed, the cutting edges of the band saw teeth are also variabl eat any moment, so this causes the wear of the land saw teeth and the deterioration of the quality in the surface roughness. In this study, to work out this kind of problem basically, the mean cutting force of a tooth in the band saw was estimated by using the workpiece which was smaller than the interval of each tooth, i.e. band saw pitch, in the thickness. Then the static cutting forces were predicted by appling the mean cutting forces referred above to the mechanistic cutting force model which were analyzed through the geometric profile of a band saw tooth.

Protein Qualities of Loach as Affected by Cooking Methods (가열 처리한 미꾸라지 단백질의 품질)

  • To explore the possibility of using freeze dried loach for instant choo o tang(Korean traditional loach soup), protein qualities and fatty acid composition were evaluated on boiled and steamed loach. Total lipid and ash content were lowered in both heated(boiled and steamed) loaches due to deboning and eviscerating during cooked meat preparation. Profiles of total amino acids were not changed seriously by the type of cooking, but the amount of essential amino acids were comparable in all samples. Two times more free amino acids were quantified in cooked samples compared to raw meat. Available lysine was marginally decreased by cooking, and that caused some measurable change in typsin indigestible substrate(TI) in streamed whole loach. In vitro protein digestibility of the heated loaches was not altered drastically and the protein quality determined as computed protein efficiency ratio(C PER) was similar for the raw, boiled and steamed loach. The ratios of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids changed measurably in heated whole loach. The results shows that heating caused apparent oxidative deterioration of the polyunsaturated fatty acids.

  • Many failures in high voltage equipment are preceded by partial discharge activity. In this paper deals with the application of the high frequency partial discharge measurement technique in motorette. HFPD measurement is very effective method to detect the PD occurred in motorette which is the called name of test specimen for accelerating test of stator winding[1] In this study, CT type HFPD sensor is used to detect the partial discharges and a measured HFPD pattern is analyzed by fractal mathematics. The neural network algorithm is used to pattern recognition and ageing diagnosis. As a result of this study, the fractal dimensions are increased along to applied voltage and HFPD pattern recognition using neural network shown excellent recognition rate. Also, the ageing diagnosis of motorette has been Possible.

A Study on the Deteriorated Cause Analysis of Mold Type Potential Transformer (몰드형 계기용 변압기의 소손원인 해석에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we intend to establish the judgement of electrical fire through analysis of PT(Potential Transformer) using the power installation. The columnar structure and the void generated by abrupt heat grew at the tenter of boundary-face on the metallurgical microscope analysis. The detection of OK lines was confirmed by EDX(Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy) as melting and recombination due to the layer-short of the wiring. We found that the thermal-weight decrease occurred at 300$^{\circ}C$ in case of being the thermal-deterioration on the base of the result that analyzed the insulated-materials by using TGA, and the thermal reaction limited-value of PT insulator was about 300$^{\circ}C$ on the DSC curve. As this analysis, we confirmed what the layer-short appeared in the wiring of PT.

  • This paper describes the effect of lightning impulse current on deterioration of ZnO blocks for distribution arrester. In this study. a multiple-lightning impulse current generator which can produce quadruple 8/20 ${\mu}s$ 5 kA is designed and fabricated, and total energy applied to the arrester block at each pulse is about 1,217 J. The experimental results indicate that the type of arresters are more vulnerable to deteriorate or damage at multiple-lightning impulse current.

  • As gravel roadbed is gradually turn down by repetitive loading of train, lasting work for maintenance and management of track is necessary to reduce the settlement of roadbed and the deterioration of track. Despite of above weak point, gravel roadbed has become a basic structure of roadbed at the present time. But request for new structure of roadbed is recently presented to settle an increased transportation capacity of track, and to solve a shortage of the labor to handle maintenance work of track. Therefore, we begin to research about maintenance-free roadbed like paved track from two years ago. In this study, a series of tests were performed to clarify the characteristics of strength and permeability of concrete specimen, which is the upper part of paved track injected by cement mortar, by type of geotextile and finally to give a basic data for application of geotextile to the lower part of paved track.

  • Degradation in power cables used in distribution lines to the material of the wire, manufacturing method, but also the line of the environment, generates a variety of degradation depending upon the type of load. The local wire deterioration weighted wire breakage accident can occur frequently, causing significant proprietary damage can lead to accidents and precious. In this study, the signal detected by the eddy current aim to develop algorithms capable of determining the signals for the top part and at least part of the signal by using a signal processing technique called K-means algorithm.

  • Concrete and shotcrete should withstand the conditions for which they have been designed, without deterioration, over a period of years. But connote and shotcrete are being deteriorated according to aging by internal and external causes. Recently, many studies on the durability of concrete have been conducted But the durability of shotcrete is rarely studied. So, in this study, chloride ion penetration test freeze and thaw test neutralization test were conducted to examine the durability characteristics of shotcrete with several accelerator and chemical admixture types. These results indicate that shotcrete with allah free accelerator and with superplasticizer are durable. Therefore, the present study provides a fm base to make high performance shotcrete.

Comparison of the Poor Insulator Detecting Technique for the Reliability Enhancement of the Electric Power Facilities (전력설비의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 불량애자검출기법의 비교)

  • For the evaluation in the safety of outdoor insulator, there are various methods such as: visual observation; voltage measurement; use of ultrasonic wave due to partial discharge; electric field measurement; use of infrared/ultraviolet sensor-type camera. However, many problems have been issued regrading the reliability of the evaluation test and safety of testing operation. Accordingly, the present study has investigated and analyzed the characteristics and mechanisms of the insulator deterioration, in order to obtain an optimal method for detecting poor insulator so that the reliability of power facilities can be enhanced. Besides, based on theoretical analysis of domestic and international detection methods for poor insulator, the reliability has been compared and evaluated quantitatively. As a result, it was shown that the corona camera would be the best choice for domestic workplace application in detecting poor insulator for enhancing the reliability of power transmission line.

  • In this Study, we have acquired 5-simulation Fault types Signals of high voltage Motor stator winding using epoxy/mica coupler. In order to know stator winding fault type using fault signals, we have performed feature extraction to apply wavelet transform technique. we have obtained skewness and kurtosis as statistical parameters of fault signal pattern from non deterioration state winding. We have know that 5 fault signals types have done an exponential function pattern shape but individually fault a class widely was different each other a signal waveform of pattern.
