  • This paper proposes a new identification method that utilizes fuzzy inference in parameter identification. The prosed system has an additional control loop where a real plant has replaced by a plant model. Fuzzy rules describe the relationship between comparison results of the features and magnitude of modification in the model parameter values. In this paper, the tuning method which determines parameters of PID controller automatically is described through applying this algorithm to DC servo motor. And we intend to investigate effectiveness of the method by experiments. This method is effective in auto-tuning because the response of the closed loop has verified. The simulated and the experimental results of the dc servo motor are shown to confirm the viability of this method.

  • The two prototypes of a Wheel Type Locomotive Mechanism Using Micro motor for a Capsule-Type Endoscope are outlined and realized. Basic concept of these mechanisms is to use a rod-shaped wheel, with which these mechanisms can go over the haustral folds inside colon. The actuator of Prototype I is geared dc motor and the actuator for steering is Shape Memory Alloy. Prototype I goes through the whole area of colonoscopy training model. Prototype II can not only go forward and backward, but also be steerable with 2 geared dc motors. Prototype II goes through dead pig colon.

  • The speed and torque control performance of the DC motor used in the industrial field is affected by the change of parameters. In particular the change of armature resistance can be greatly originated from various load conditions. Accordingly a large number of studies to estimate those problems in the servo motor control field have already been under way. In this paper, the armature resistance on the DC motor under several load and speed conditions is estimated by the Artificial Neural Network(ANN), and the validity is proven by the speed estimation of sensorless speed control system.

  • The brushless DC motor(BLDCM) is widely used in many applications. One of the application of the BLDCM is the stage which is one of process in the semiconductor manufacturing processes. Very high performance is required in the stage process. In this paper, the 1 degree of freedom positioning system for the basic technology of the stage is studied. The linearization method is proposed to make the controller design procedures easy by measuring the thrust force ripple using the strain gauge. And through the experiments, it is proved that the inner velocity control loop is necessary to make more precise positioning control system.

  • In this paper, we propose a PC based distributed controller for a two axis convey table using real-time micro-kernel. PC, Windows program, gives an easy way to implement wealthy GUI and micro-kernel, ${\mu}$C/OS-II, provides a real-time capability to control devices. We built a real-time distributed control system using ${\mu}$C/OS-II kernel which needs to process the tasks for two motors within the desired time to synchronize the motion. We used both semaphore and message mail box for synchronization. Unlike the previous study where we used step motors for the actuator of two axes convey table, we rebuilt the convey table with DC motors and the dedicated position servo which had built in out lab, and then we implemented a realtime distributed control system by putting the micro-kernel into between PC and position servo. Moreover we developed the PC based graphic user interfaces for generating planar drawing image control. Experimental results also presented to show the Proposed control system is useful.

  • This paper proposes a design of self-tuning fuzzy rules and membership functions based on genetic algorithms. Sub-optimal fuzzy rules and membership functions are found by using genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithms are used for tuning fuzzy rules and membership functions. A arbitrary speed trajectories are selected for the reference input of the proposed methods. Experimental results show the good performance in the DC motor control system with the self-tuning fuzzy controller based on genetic algorithms.

  • The present DC Motor or STEP Motor have been used in electronic work or products. There have been researches that let those Motor improved more conveniently in controlling and measuring those than before. By controlling and measuring those, the convenience of users and the functions of products can be improved. In addition, the responding speed of whole system can be increased by improving it of controlling and measuring. Therefore it is necessary that we develop motor motion application. Because of this necessity, Neural-Network was used to improve the responding speed of controlling and measuring, and a new application was developed for the convenience of users. This thesis showed efficiency of controlling methodology by Neural-Network superior to others in correctness and speed. We are intend to verify its appropriateness though experimentations.

  • 현대 산업현장에서 80%이상 사용되는 PID(proportional integral derivative) 제어기는 제어성, 적응성, 제어이득 조정 등의 특정이 있어나 제어 대상에 대한 PID 제어 계수를 경험적 방법인 수동으로 동조해야하는 문제점이 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서 PID제어기의 최적 자동동조를 위한 릴레이 동조 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 한계감도법과 과도응답 법으로 초기계수를 결정하는 방법보다 유연성과 적용성이 높고, 이를 마이크로프로세서(DSP : TMS-320C32)에 적용하여 소프트웨어적으로 릴레이의 기능이 이루어지도록 설계했다. 이는 Ziegler-Nichols 계수조정법이 갖는 적용대상의 제약성을 극복한 방법이며, 릴레이에 의해 출력을 강제 진동시키고 출력의 진폭과 주기를 이용하여 PID 계수를 조정하고, 또 상대안정성의 척도인 위상여유를 고려하므로 시스템의 상대안정성과 견실성을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 도심형 전기자동차의 주요 전력변환장치인 모터구동제어기와 전장전력공급용 DC/DC 컨버터, 고전압배터리 충전기 등을 일체형으로 개발함으로써 하우징의 간소화, 방열부 및 커넥터의 불필요한 요소를 저감할 수 있어 원가절감과 연비개선 등의 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 통합형 전력변환장치 중에서 고전압배터리의 충전시간을 단축시키도록 고성능, 고효율 탑재형 충전기를 설계하고 이를 제작하여 실 충전시험으로 성능을 확인하고자 한다.

  • This Paper presents a solution to control the Brushless DC Motor(BLDCM) in Digital Lightening Processor(DLP) using the Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR). Generally, The speed of BLDCM in DLP is controlled by the lead angle control or the input voltage control using PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation) etc. These control methods have speed overshoot in speed control and need the long time until BLDCM reaches at the steady state. In order to improve the performance, this paper present the PI speed controller using the LQR based on vector control and the rotor position detection methods at the space vector PWM inverter. The proposed methods are proved by the experimental results
