Distributed System Architecture Modeling of a Performance Monitoring and Reporting Tool (분산 시스템의 성능 모니터링과 레포팅 툴의 아키텍처 모델링)

  • To manage a cluster of distributed server systems, a number of management aspects should be considered in terms of configuration management, fault management, performance management, and user management. System performance monitoring and reporting take an important role for performance and fault management. In this paper, we present distributed system architecture modeling of a performance monitoring and reporting tool. Modeling architecture of four subsystems are introduced: node agent, data collection, performance management & report, and DB schema. The performance-related information collected from distributed servers are categorized into performance counters, event data for system status changes, service quality, and system configuration data. In order to analyze those performance information, we use a number of ways to evaluate data corelation. By using some results from a real site of a company and from simulation of artificial workload, we show the example of performance collection and analysis. Since our report tool detects system fault or node component failure and analyzes performances through resource usage and service quality, we are able to provide information for server load balancing, in short term view, and the cause of system faults and decision for system scale-out and scale-up, in long term view.

  • Many students have ever experienced difficulties due to lack of space in schools. In this paper we propose design and implementation of an mobile application for reserving an empty classroom using a smartphone. It can improve the utilization of facilities and provide convenience for students.

  • In this paper, an adult authentication system based on authentication certificate was designed and implemented using smartphone and near-field communication. It has three advantages. First, it achieves easy, convenient, and fast authentication by using smartphone and near-field communication. Second, it achieves extremely high security and reliability by exploiting authentication certificate. Third, it achieves extremely low risk of personal information leakage by generating and sending only virtual identification code. Finally, it has a proper legal basis by Digital Signature Act. It consists of adult authentication module, near-field communication control module, policy server module, and database server module. A prototype of the proposed system was designed and implemented, and it was verified to have correct operation.

  • As the library retrieval system grows on the web rapidly through the rapid popularization of the internet, specially, it is almost impossible for children-only to retrieve on the web. So, there are some problems, such as, providing the retrieving results with no relation to children library. In this paper, we are supposed to design and implement library information retrieval system to provide better relevant library information for children using 3D environment. It consists of PHP, APACHE and MYSQL databases. At first, web page which gathers documents on the web implemented PHP using 3D. At last, APACHE server return retrieving results for user query using PHP.

  • This thesis presents MPU module, Base board and sensor module which are efficient industrial control through design and manufacture as developing S5PV210 CPU of SAMSUNG used by ARM Cortex-A8 based on Android which is Open mobile platform is installed to embedded system. Data for temperature and humidity which are received by sensor module proved the suitability and validity for the real time framework design as implementing application program employed the smart phone App with hybrid application based on DB of web server.

  • 기존의 환경 제어와 관련된 온실 환경 모니터링 기술은 온실의 비 표준화에 관련되어 정적 자원 모니터링에 국한되었다. 그리고 온실 환경 제어 시스템의 오작동으로 인한 재배 환경 파괴는 관리자로 하여금 치명적 피해를 입게 하였다. 본 연구에서는 비 표준화된 시스템 자원 관리와 환경 제어 모니터링을 수행하기 위해 객체화된 모니터링 제어 엔진을 설계 및 구현한다. 특히, 제어 시스템의 신뢰도 향상을 위해 반자동 제어 모드를 추가시켜 현재 온실 시스템의 운용에 대한 문제점을 보안했다. 추가적으로 사용자를 위한 화훼 정보 제공을 위한 DB 구축과 주문.판매 서비스를 통해 생산자와 소비자 사이의 투명한 유통망을 제공한다.

A Study on the Validation of Vector Data Model for River-Geospatial Information and Building Its Portal System (하천공간정보의 벡터데이터 모델 검증 및 포털 구축에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the applicability of a standard vector model was evaluated using RIMGIS vector data and a portal based river-geospatial information web service system was developed using XML and JSON based data linkage between the server and the client. The RIMGIS vector data including points, lines, and polygons were converted to the Geospatial Data Model(GDM) developed in this study and were validated by layers. After the conversion, it was identified that the attribute data of a shape file remained without loss. The GeoServer GDB(GeoDataBase) that manages a DB in the portal was developed as a management module. The XML-based Geography Markup Language(GML) standards of OGC was used for accessing to and managing vector layers and encoding spatial data. The separation of data content and expression in the GML allowed the different expressions of the same data, convenient data revision and update, and enhancing the expandability. In the future, it is necessary to improve the access, exchange, and storage of river-geospatial information through the user's customized services and Internet accessibility.

  • According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. The performance of personal mobile device has improved and been evolved by composition terminal. So, it became possible that storage and expression of multimedia information as well as simple communication facility. Domestic wireless internet has given development strain to developer and contents Provider(CP) because of different platform. And this has become hindrance factor of wireless internet activation. But, recently, the use of WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), the wireless internet standard platform, could use different wireless application programs and also guarantee the independency for hardware. We wish to develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server (CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval agent which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that by real time. So, we wish to develop agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.

  • Recently, the growth of the computer-related industries lead to the growth of the computer-aided education. Virtual training (VT) is one of the most interesting education methods. Many 3D models for the VT contents have been produced, but little research has been performed for the unified management system to promote the reuse of 3D models. This paper proposes the unified 3D model management system. The 3D model file formats are surveyed to find a format that can be easily used by many VT content production softwares. The 3D model files will be stored in a central DB server. The structure of the DB system will be designed for 3D models. The system provides an easy way to search and download a 3D model. With the proposed system, the reuse of 3D models is expected to be promoted.

  • Wireless sensor network forms the self-organization network, and transfers the information among sensor nodes that have computing technology ability and wireless communication ability. The recent sensor network is study for low-power, micro, low cost of node is proceeded. Recently, the research of application services in wireless sensor networks is proceeded. Therefore, in this paper, we design the prototype of the real-time information service that support a user the information of temperature, illumination etc. And, we implement the alarm application service fer the disaster prevention on Internet base on IPv4/IPv6. We develop the module of the extract information using the query processing based on TinyOS, and the module of the server's database using MySQL data base management system and JDBC. Additionally, we develop the client module that receive the real-time sensing data using ODBC in Internet based on IPv4/IPv6.
