  • XML is rapidly becoming the standard for data representation and exchange, and XML documents are being adopted in various applications. Since the late 1990s, some native XML database management systems(DBMSs) have been developed. More recently, commercial relational DBMS vendors try to incorporate full functionalities of XML into their products, such as Oracle, MS SQL and IBM DB2. In this paper, we implement a well-known RDBMS-based XML data storage and indexing technique, called XPath Accelerator, and tune it in an industry-leading RDBMS. Our contributions are two-folds: 1) an in-depth implementation of the XPath Accelerator technique and 2) its tuning to exploit the advanced query processing techniques of an RDBMS.

  • 전자상거래에서 쇼핑몰의 개인화된 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 소비자의 구매 패턴을 분석하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 패턴을 효과적으로 분석하기 위해 웹사이트 상에서 사용자 행동 패턴 정보를 수집해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 패턴 수집 시스템으로 쇼핑몰 서버에 기능을 추가하고 지능형 웹로그 서버를 정의하며 이를 설계, 구현하였다. 전자상거래 쇼핑몰 서버에는 사용자 행위 정보를 로그에 포함시켜 지능형 웹로그 서버에 전송하는 기능을 추가하였다. 그리고 지능형 웹로그 서버는 쇼핑몰 서버로부터 받은 로그 데이터를 분석하고 데이터베이스화하여 저장한다. 이때 데이터베이스 저장 기술로 OLE DB Provider상에서 수행되는 ADO기술을 사용한다. 그리고 저장된 데이터베이스를 레코드셋 단위로 원격에서 제어 가능하게 한다. 또 생성된 데이터베이스에서 필요한 데이터를 선별하여 XML DB로 저장한다. 이와 같은 사용자 패턴 수집 시스템은 데이터베이스 접근 속도가 빠르고, 관계형이나 비관계형 둘 다의 데이터베이스 접근이 가능하다는 장정을 가지며, 원격 데이터 베이스 접근 시 서버의 부하를 줄일 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

  • This paper suggested a location-based traffic information service system using TPEG and GIS. Measurement technique, location server, applied service technique, and linkage technique with database were used to provide the location-based traffic information service. In particular, TPEG-RTM includes location information and load traffic message. The location information to be included in each message displayed a specific point, section or region limit of the load. Actually, because it was impossible to receive data using TPEG receiver, a proposed program included in this paper was used to produce an arbitrary database and read it, Also, TPEG event happened time was indicated on the map for matching test of a TPEG message and WGS84 coordinate, and finally it was verified with art example of a vehicle approaching to an event happened place.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a converting algorithm for providing real-time traffic information through the FM DARC(DAta Radio Channel). The converting algorithm based on the GIS node-link system enables raw traffic data to be a standard traffic information. The standard traffic information in data quality, quantity and format is an essential to construct the FM DARC traffic information system effectively. We have developed the algorithm and applied it to the FM DARC system. After introducing FM DARC briefly, this paper presents GIS DB, the converting algorithm and the client/server FM DARC system.

  • In this paper, we propose a customer personalized system that presents the web pages to users which are customized to their individuality. It analyzes the action of users who visit the shopping mall, and preferentially supplies the necessary information to them. When they actually buy some items, it forecasts the user's access pattern to web site and their following purchasable items and improves their web page on the bases of their individuality. It reasons the relation among the web documents and among the items by using the log data of web server and the purchase information of DB. For reasoning, it employs Apriori algorithm, which is a method that searches the association rule. It reasons the web pages by considering the user's access pattern and time by using the web log and reasons the user's purchase pattern by using the purchase information of DB. On the basis of the relation among them, it appends the related web pages to link of user's web pages and displays the inferred goods on user's web pages.

  • While there are many services that can check current traffic condition and application program such as bus arrival alarm are developed, since it only provide simple alarm and check level of information, it is still insufficient in many senses. Therefore, the program that try to develop in this study is the system that predict arrival time to destination and inform the bus passengers by applying real time traffic information. The system developed related to this study is still very inadequate. In the system developed in this thesis, when the user input the current bus number and destination using smart-phone, relevant server acquire the bus route information from bus information DB, and analyze real time traffic information based on the information from traffic information DB, and inform customer of expected arrival time to destination. In this thesis, traffic congestion can be eased off and regular operation of public transportation can be improved with reliable destination arrival alarm. Also, it is considered that pattern of bus users can be analyzed by using these information, and analyzing average transport speed and time of public transportation, travel time depending on various situation can give a boost to study related to transportation information and its development.

  • In this paper, the aging of Farm Village in the automatic control system for Vinylhouse with Zigbee short-range wireless interface, the environment, crops grown according to DB, and Vinylhouse controlled environment to identify abnormalities by monitoring the Vinylhouse, regardless of the number of from one server to multiple clients while controlling two-way monitoring system is to perform. Therefore, router, end with a random ID to determine the status of certain Vinylhouse and Vinylhouse, allowing for independent control of Vinylhouse, certain characteristics of a live user wants to control was designed to allow real-time.

  • This thesis attempts to investigate and analyze the structure of educational simulation devices implemented thus far. conducting a close analysis of their strengths and weaknesses. On this basis the author Presents and implements a new method of simulation, and continuously upgrades it for increased stability and convenience. The most important aspects of the educational simulation device described in this thesis are: first removing the editing function (scenarios. single line diagrams, and point DB), which the instructor finds time-consuming and inconvenient to use; second, developing and installing the program so as to calculate electric power flow that can measure fluctuations measurements after changing the system status; and third. implementing a Client/server mode to build a system that will make it possible to train many people at a time in remote locations. When compared to simulation devices of the Psst. the greatest differences are that algorithm-based scenarios make scenario inputs unnecessary. and that the amount of work required for the point DB and single line diagrams were minimized.

  • Data transfer technique is one of the key elements of the IT infrastructure, in accordance with each environment and function, using some kind of protocol. Using the three protocols such as WCDMA, AIS, and TRS at sea IT industry. so It uses three protocols saw has a problem that the operation of each protocol-specific server. so server maintenance costs increase and sea Device Manager has been placed in a situation which operates to develop each of the protocol-specific analysis program. The reason of the protocol is divided into three, marine equipment (lighthouses, buoys, light buoy) manufacturing companies and the date of manufacture, such as, communication environment (distance, communication speed) because such is wrong all, trying to unify this and enormous cost and time is a situation that can not be the exchange occurred when. So in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the number of frequency of use is low, communication performance is seeking to refrain from Kure each local organizations and companies the use of low TRS protocol. his paper is intended to conduct research on the basis of the actual data to analyze whether the method is how economical to store a single DB by analyzing other types of protocols. This reduces the shortage of marine IT industry, even a little, shall helps reduce administrative costs.
