특허로 살펴본 얼굴인식 기술개발 동향 (Face Recognition Technology Trends Through Patent Analysis)

  • The interest in facial recognition technology has been growing with the advancement of AI technology. With a confirmed accuracy of over 99%, the areas of application of the technology have expanded, including smartphone unlocking, online payment authorization, building access management, and criminal apprehension. This indicates that the technology has effectively transitioned from laboratory to field applications. This study performs patent analysis to determine recent innovations and diffusion trends in facial recognition technology. Specifically, R&D activities involving facial recognition technology are investigated at both the country level and company level. Significant patents are also considered. This study contributes to R&D management teams by proposing useful plans and strategies.

Bacillus subtilis JK-56이 생산하는 chitinase isozyme의 정제와 특성 규명 (Purification and characterization of the chitinase from Bacillus subtilis JK-56)

  • 토양으로부터 chitinase를 생성하는 균주를 분리하여 동정한 결과 Bacillus subtilis로 판명되었으며, 분리한 균주를 Bacillus subtilis JK-56이라 명명하였다. B. subtilis JK-56의 chitinase 생산 최적 조건을 검토한 결과 1% chitin, 0.5% polypeptone, 0.1% KCI, 0.05% MnS $O_4$.4$H_2O$이며 초발 pH 7.0, 배양온도 37$^{\circ}C$에서 가장 많은 효소를 생산하였다. 본 균주가 생산하는 chitinase를 정제하기 위해서 native-PAGE를 이용해 효소활성 band를 확인한 결과, 1개의 강한 활성 band와 2개의 약한 활성 band를 가지는 isozyme으로 확인되었다. 확인된 isozyme을 정제한 결과, isozyme 중 1개의 강한 활성 band를 정제하였고 정제된 효소를 Chi-56A라고 명명하였다 Chi-56A의 효소 특성에 관해서 실험한 결과 분자량은 약 53kDa, pI는 4.3으로 확인되었다. 본 효소는 $65^{\circ}C$까지 상당히 안정하였으며 효소의 최대활성 온도도 $65^{\circ}C$로 확인되는 등 열에 대해 상당히 안정한 효소로 확인되었다. Collidal chitin에 대한 정제효소 Chi-56A의 $K_{m}$ 값은 17.33g/L였다. 그리고 pH 6.0에서 최대의 활성을 나타내었고, 산성범위보다 알칼리범위에서 안정한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 $Mn^{2+}$ 존재 하에서 높은 활성을 나타내었고 C $O^{2+}$$Mg^{2+}$ 존재 하에서도 활성이 약간 증가한 반면에 H $g^{2+}$ 존재 하에서는 상당한 저해를 받았다. Chito 올리고당에 대한 분해 산물을 HPLC로 확인해 본 결과 짝수개의 올리고당의 분해산물은 (GlcNAc)$_2$만을 생산하였고 홀수개의 올리고당에 대해서는 GlcNAc와 (GlcNAc)$_2$를 생산하는 것으로 비환원성 말단으로부터 이당체인 diacetyl chitobiose ((GlcNAc)$_2$)를 생산하는 exo형 chitinase로 추정 된다.

사각형상 플랜지 액압성형 공정 시 결함특성 분석 (Analysis of Defect Characterization in a Rectangular Shape Flange Hydroforming Process)

  • The tube hydroforming process has received much attention in the automotive industry because of its advantages compared to conventional manufacturing technologies. A wide range of products such as sub-frames, camshafts, radiator frames, axles and crankshafts are made by hydroforming process. The hydroformed parts often need to be structurally joined to other components during assembly. Therefore, these automotive parts need to be manufactured with a localized attachment flange. In this study, FE forming analyses of a part with a rectangular flanged shape was performed with Dynaform 5.5. Using the optimized conditions determined numerically, hydroforming experiments were performed. Then, the characterization of defects was analyzed. Finally, the accuracy of the optimized internal pressure condition as well as that of the initial ram position were evaluated. The results demonstrated that flanged parts can be successfully produced using the tube hydroforming process.

  • In the present study, front lower arm and engine cradle which are automotive chassis parts were developed using the hydroforming technology. For systematic establishment of parts development process, material properties of tube were reflected at the start of design and problems of initial design drawing were solved by forming analysis. Design and manufacturing technology of hydroforming die were established and the relationship between internal pressure and feeding stroke was studied during try-out. Durability and buckling strength of hydrofromed parts were estimated.

  • The superplastic forming/diffusion bonding(SPF/DB) is widely used in the automotive and aerospace industry because it has great advantage to produce complex, light and strong parts. But the superplastic forming process requires much forming time and generates excessive thinning in the thickness distribution of formed part. It is necessary to minimize trial and error for SPF/DB Process. Finite element analysis using $L_{18}$ orthogonal may table of Taguchi method for 3-Sheet D/B process is carried out. Through the study, effect of process parameters, such as DH region size, thickness and friction coefficient, is evaluated and the optimum condition is derived.

  • In the hot strip mill, a bad threading and shape of strip strip in the finishing mill was caused by asymmetric rolling In roughing min. Mathematical analysis for camber control of roughing mill in hot strip rolling has been developed. Each equation in the camber control model was derived from geometrical characteristics of camber mechanism. The model can predict variables such as wedge, side slippage and roll force difference etc. from a measured camber value and then find an optimum roll gap condition for minimizing camber in the next pass.

  • Grinding in the cement industry is a very energy-exacting process, therefore it is essential that these systems should operate with the highest possible efficiency. But, Cement grinding process is a complicated nonlinear system with large dead time, very noisy signal and many stochastic disturbances. So, it is difficult to develope mathematic process model. This paper presents correlation analysis of process variables and construction of experimental model for a ball mill grinding process.

상용차 조향계의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of Steering System in Commercial Vehicles)

  • For a driving vehicle, a self-excited vibration of a pair of steerable wheels about their steering axis accompanied by tramp is called shimmy. Shimmy is caused by the coupling effects of the complicated actions of wheel and tire and the tramp motion of front wheel axle. Because front axle is no longer used on passenger cars shimmy occurring is not considerable. But in commercial vehicles using front wheel axle suspension system shimmy should be considered in design process. In this paper, the model closed to a practical vehicle was developed to analyze the shimmy of a commercial vehicle, and the effects of various design parameters to shimmy were observed by dynamic simulation with multibody dynamics program, DADS. The validity of developed model and analysis results were verified by practical vehicle experiments.

  • A validated and reproducible HPLC method was developed for the profiling and quantitative analysis of ginsenosides in commercial products available in North America. Analysis of 280 Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolius products showed profiles indicative of the presence of ginsenosides in the majority of these products. However, the quantitative contents of the products vary greatly, not only in products of different formulations, but also of products within each of the fromulations examined.

온도상승에 따른 Steel-beam의 국부좌굴해석 (Local Buckling Analysis of Steel Beams at Elevated Temperature)

  • This paper is represented a general equations to obtain the elastic local buckling stresses for the flange and web of H-beam under compression at elevated temperatures and is also developed the software to perform the elastic local buckling analysis at elevated temperatures. Eurocode3 Part 1.2 are used to analyse the decrease in steel yield strength and elastic modulus at elevated temperatures. For design examples of 6 H-beams, the elastic local buckling stresses and critical temperatures for the slenderness ratio $(b/t_f\;and\;d/t_w)$ of the flange and web under uniform compression at elevated temperatures have been analysed by a computer program of this paper. It can be seen that the computer analytical results of this study show a good agreement with the experimental results by Wadee.
