China is experiencing the urbanization at an unprecedented speed and scale in human history. The continuing growth of China's big cities, both in city land and population, has already led to great challenges in China's urban planning and construction activities, such as the continuous increase of construction and demolition (C&D) waste. Therefore, how to characterize cities' construction activities, particularly dynamically quantify the flows of building materials and construction debris, has become a pressing problem to alleviate the current shortage of resources and realize urban sustainable development. Accordingly, this study is designed to employ 4D-GIS (four dimensions-Geographic Information System) and Internet Plus to offer new approach for accurate but dynamic C&D waste management. The present study established a spatio-temporal pattern and material metabolism evolution model to characterize the geo-distribution of C&D waste by combing material flow analysis (MFA) and 4D-GIS. In addition, this study developed a mobile application (APP) for C&D waste trading and information management, which could be more effective for stakeholders to obtain useful information. Moreover, a cloud database was built in the APP to disclose the flows of C&D waste by the monitoring information from vehicles at regional level. To summarize, these findings could provide basic data and management methods for the supply and reverse supply of building materials. Meanwhile, the methodologies are practical to C&D waste management and beyond.
Four genes (yqfR, yfmL, ydbR, deaD) were identified as putative DEAD-box RNA helicase genes in the genomic sequence of Bacillus subtilis by homology search. To understand the function of these genes, each of the genes was deleted and the constructed strains were tested for their growth charateristics at different temperatures. The growth rate of ydbR deletion mutant ($T_d$=53 min) was a little bit reduced at $37^{\circ}C$ as compared to that of wild type strain (CU1065). But the growth rate of other three (yqfR, yfmL, deaD) deletion mutants ($T_d$=30-40 min) is nearly equal to the growth rate of wild type ($T_d$=32 min). On the other hands, the growth rate of deletion mutants were reduced at $22^{\circ}C$ in order of yqfR ($T_d$=151 min), yfmL ($T_d$=214 min), ydbR ($T_d$=343 min), which showed cold-sensitive phenotype. The deletion mutant of deaD ($T_d$=109 min) grew equally as compared to the growth rate ($T_d$=102 min) of the wild type at $22^{\circ}C$ and did not show cold-sensitive growth. Double, triple and quadruple deletion mutants of these genes were constructed, and growth rate of these mutants were measured at various temperature conditions ($22^{\circ}C$, $37^{\circ}C$, $42^{\circ}C$) using LB broth. Multiple deletion mutations showed more severe cold-sensitive growth than single deletion mutations, and double deletion of ydbR and yfmL ($T_d$=984 min) showed most cold-sensitive growth than any other double mutants. Such a cold-sensitive growth of these mutations is quite similar to the result of csdA or srmB deletion in E. coli and suggested that physiological role of ydbR and yfmL is related with ribosome assembly.
The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effects of etching with a Nd : YAG Laser on dentin, or porcelain surface on the bond strength with composite resin. The dentin specimens were devided into the following 4 groups. D1 : No treatment D2 : Etched with 10% phosphoric acid D3 : Laser etchded with 1W, 20PPs D4 : Laser etched with 2W, 20PPS The procelain specimens were devided into the following 4 groups. P1 : diamond roughened P2 : etched with HF acid P3 : Laser etched with 2W, 20PPS P4 : Laser etched with 3W, 20PPS All specimens were veneered with resin. One half of the specimens were stored in $37^{\circ}C$ water for one day and the other half were thermocycled 1000 times at temperature of $5^{\circ}C\;to\;55^{\circ}C$ at 20 seconds intervals. After that, the bonding strength of composite resin to the dentin and porcelain was measured. The surface treated state and fractured state were observed with SEM. The following results were obtained. 1. In the dentin specimens, the bond strength of group D2 was highter than that of groups D1 and D3 in the case of the specimens stored in $37^{\circ}C$ water for one day, there was a statistically significant difference between group D2 and D1, D3 (P<0.05). The bonding strength of the specimens that were thermocycled decreased in the following order : group D2,D4,D3 and then D1. 2. In the porcelain specimens, the bonding strength of groups P1,P2 were higher than that of group P3 in the case of the specimens stored in $37^{\circ}C$ water for one day (P<0.05). The bonding strength of the specimens of being thermocycled decreased in the following order : group P2,P1,P4 and then P3. 3. The groups of high bond strength had a rougher surface and a high level of microporosity with SEM findings.

Purpose: VEGF-C and VEGF-D are angiogenetic factors, and abnormal expression of E-cadherin hasa role in the progression of gastric carcinoma. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the expression of E-cadherin, VEGF-C and VEGF-D with the presence of lymph node metastases (LNM) using cytokeratin 18 in early gastric cancer (EGC). Materials and Methods: Immunohistochemical staining for E-cadherin, VEGF-C and VEGF-D was performed in 49 EGC patients from March 1997 to December 2002. To evaluate the real extent of LNM, 1,562 lymph nodes from 49 patients were re-examined with the use of cytokeratin 18. Results: Eleven (0.7%) LNM were newly found in 12.2% (n=6) of patients. The real LNM rate was 3.6% in mucosal invasive (m) cancer and 38.1% in submucosal invasive (sm). Stage migration was seen in three patients (6.1%). Abnormal expression of E-cadherin was detected in 36.7% of the patients and expression of VEGF-C and VEGF-D was detected in 16.3% and 36.7% of the patients, respectively. Abnormal expression of E-cadherin was significantly correlated with tumor differentiation (P=0.0103) and Lauren classification (P<0.0001). There was no positive relationship of VEGF-C and VEGF-D expression with the clinicopathological findings for EGC including LNM. However, the frequency of lymph node metastases was significantly higher in patients that demonstrated abnormal expression of E-cadherin with positive immunoreactivity of VEGF-C or VEGF-D (P=0.031). Conclusion: In present study, we could not demonstrate a relationship between the presence of LNM and expression of VEGF-C and VEGF-D in EGC. However, VEGF-C or VEGF-D expression, in addition to the abnormal expression of E-cadherin, was correlated with the real extent of LNM in EGC.

The relative retrogradation of Jeungpyun investigated with different milling methods of rice flour. The relative retrogradation of Jeungpyun was reduced in order that of W-C, W-P, D-M, D-J in DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimetry) method while W-C, D-M, D-J, W-P in Diastase method. In wet milling method, the relative retrogradation of Jeungpyun by pin mill (W-P) was lower than Jeungpyun by colloid mill (W-C). In dry milling method, the relative retrogration of Jeungpyun by jet mill (D-J) was lower than Jeungpyun by micro mill(D-M). The relative retrogradation of Jeungpyun by DSC method was similar to the diastase method. The relative retrogradation of Jeungpyun was decreased with decreasing particle size and setback value for amylogram and increasing damaged starch.
Bacteriochlorophyll(BChl)-c containing species of green sulfur photosynthetic bacterium Chlorobium (ChI.) vibrioforme, which has BChl-d mainly, was detected. We obtained colonies on agar plates by spreading the liquid culture of ChI. vibrioforme f. sp. thiosulfatophilum strain NCIB 8327 which contained the high ratio of BChl-c/BChl-d, and transferred each colony into a new liquid medium. These cultures after growing were found to be classified into two categories. One possessed BChl-d as a light-harvesting pigment and the other did BChl-c. No colonies examined here contained both BChls-d and c. Therefore, the presence of both BChls-d and c in our cultures of ChI. vibrioforme was ascribed to the coexistence of two different cells which had BChl-d and c as the chlorosomal pigment, respectively. The change of pigment composition observed in our liquid cultures can be thus explained by the difference of growth rates between two kinds of cells.
Physiological studies on the hybrid by crossing between two dioecious species, Porphyra pseudolinearis and P. dentata from Korea were conducted at constant temperatures (5, 10, 15, 20, and $25^{\circ}C$), at photon flux densities (10, 20, 40, and $80\;{\mu}mol\;m^{-2}s^{-1}$) under photoperiods (14 L : 10 D and 10 L : 14 D). In the hybrid, higher growth of conchocelis was observed at 20 and $40\;{\mu}mol\;m^{-2}s^{-1}$ under 14 L : 10 D. Conchosporangial branches were produced under $10-80\;{\mu}mol\;m^{-2}s^{-1}$ at only $25^{\circ}C$, and were abundant when the conchocelis was cultured under 10 L : 14 D. Foliose thalli of the hybrid grew well at the conditions of $10-20^{\circ}C$, 10 L : 14 D and $15-20^{\circ}C$, 14 L : 10 D. The foliose thalli grew very slowly at $5^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$, respectively. No archeospores were observed at any culture conditions. Spermatangial and zygotosporangial sori were formed at the marginal portion of mature thallus. Zygotospores from the hybrid were released at $10-2^{\circ}C$ under both photoperiods, and gave rise to form conchocelis filament. Monoecious thalli were observed at $10^{\circ}C$ under 14 L : 10 D. Neither monospores nor protothalli were produced from the conchocelis in culture.
The world largest 21.3" LTPS LCD has been successfully developed using SLS crystallization technology. Successful integration of gate circuit, transmission gate and level shifter was performed in a large area uniformly. Uniformity and high performance from high quality grains of SLS technology make it possible to come true a uniform large size LTPS TFT-LCD with half number of data driver IC's used in typical a-Si LCD. High aperture ratio of 65% was obtained using an organic inter insulating method, which lead a high brightness of 500cd/cm2.

Hypercube and star graph are widely known as interconnection network. The embedding of an interconnection network is a mapping of a network G into other network H. The possibility of embedding interconnection network G into H with a low cost, has an advantage of efficient algorithms usage in network H, which was developed in network G. In this paper, we provide an embedding algorithm between HCN and HON. HCN(n,n) can be embedded into HON($C_{n+1},C_{n+1}$) with dilation 3 and HON($C_d,C_d$) can be embedded into HCN(2d-1,2d-1) with dilation O(d). Also, star graph can be embedded to half pancake's value of dilation 11, expansion 1, and average dilation 8. Thus, the result means that various algorithms designed for HCN and Star graph can be efficiently executed on HON and half pancake, respectively.
Oxygen consumption rate of Far eastern catfish, Silurus asotus, weighing 280g, was measured using continuous flow respirometry chamber linked computer monitoring system. Mean oxygen consumption rates at $15^{\circ}C,\;20^{\circ}C,\;25^{\circ}C$, and $30^{\circ}C$ were ranged in 35.2$\~96.4mg\;O_2/kg$ fish/hr, 78.6$\~127.9mg\;O_2/kg$ fish/hr, 120.1$\~231.7mg\;O_2/kg$ fish/hr, and 197.5$\~352.3mg\;O_2/kg$ fish/hr, respectively. The oxygen consumption rates increased with increasing water temperature (p<0.05). A photoperiod-mediated oxygen consumption rates was higher during the light period than during the darkness (P<0.05). When acclimated with different photoperiods, 24L:0D, 12L:12D, and 0L:24D, the lowest oxygen consumption rate was observed in the continuous darkness (0L:24D). The differences between maximum and minimum oxygen consumption rates oyer 24 hour increased with increasing water temperature and the difference was the highest in 12L:12D. Oxygen consumption rate changed suddenly at dawn and at dusk.
